My boyfriend and I paid a visit to the Colonial Players to see Book of Days and absolutely loved it!! To be honest, we werent sure what to expect as weve only been to one other local show (not at Colonial Players) and were a little disappointed. BUT Book of Days kept us intrigued the entire time! Everything from the lighting, sound effects and cast were brilliant! Do yourself a favor and go see this wonderful show!!

A wonderful intimate actors theater in the heart of Annapolis. They have been busy for 70 seasons producing on and off Broadway plays for the enjoyment of the community. They really make the small-ish size work to their advantage for this theater in the round. Every seat is just about stage level (and I am thankful for the ample leg room.) You can clearly hear the actors and see the expressions on their faces! Always an enjoyable experience.

Excellent production of the merry wives of Windsor last night. Were season ticket holders and have thoroughly enjoyed 96% of their productions over the past 6 years.

This play is a family friendly comedy and I give an excellent review. With a very mature audience, the actors are fresh and composed of a cast that is as rich in talent as the play is in humor. If your looking for an extremely affordable afternoon of entertainment as well as a great local, then the Lucky Stiff in Annapolis, Maryland is perfect in every way.

I love going to this theater, however the last few shows I have found to be a bit too long for my taste. I love to have an evening of dinner and a play, but when they start at 8 and are having run times of 2.5 hours plus it makes for a very long evening, especially considering the average age of your patrons. The last two shows it was obvious after intermission that many people were having a hard time keeping their eyes open.

Very intimate setting. Walking in one would not think there is a theatre here. There are about four rows of seats surrounding the stage. The acoustics are good. I watch Virginia Woolf. It was also very well presented. Definitely would recommend.

This company produces great shows! The theatre is clean and inviting and the staff is very friendly and accommodating! Location is perfect in a historic pay off Annapolis. Street parking can be tricky, but not impossible. Highly recommend a trip here for a show!

An Annapolis institution. Colonial Players has been around for over 50 years. It is an all volunteer operation. Theater is in the round. No bad seats. It is always amazing to see what they can do with their small space. Even when I dont like the play, the performance is first rate. I must like it as I have had season tickets for over 25 years.
