Typical as museum stores go - youd find your usual gift items and souvenirs sold at generally reasonable prices. The museum itself is closed to the public for a renovation (not sure how much longer). Staff on duty was cheerful and helpful all the way. Finding parking was challenging.

Very cool little museum on the crest of ego alley. Great views of the roundabout from the second and third floor. Very informational and historically complete!

Not a museum, a lambasting of our forefathers through various tales of slaves and not much more. Dont go thinking youll actually learn anything about Annapolis. Oh, but you can buy some cheese forks there. History!

The attic was closed to the Public, Not as much to see as I expected. However they are open late best bathroom view ever, view of the Annapolis dwntwn dock. Best food in town just a block away. Only 30min parking on the Main Thoroughfare Their.

Its a very cozy place with a lot of little trinkets to satisfy your nostalgic shopping bone. The museum name can be somewhat misleading as only a small portion of the building is dedicated to the history of Annapolis. Nonetheless, it is a fun spot to stop by when youre downtown.

The bottom half of the museum houses the gift shop, which had a great selection of items to buy. Museum was on the 2nd and 3rd floors and set up with several displays aided by boards, audio recordings, and even video recordings. The exhibit I went to was called Freedom Bound: Runaways of the Chesapeake. It was focused on slaves, indentured servants, and captive servants and shared an insight into a few stories from each. Wish they sold the video in the gift shop and Ive been unsuccessful finding it anywhere else including Amazon. Also yes about the buildings in the area that have been restored. The museum is one of these restored buildings. Highly recommend.

This Museum exhibits a powerful story with their I RAN AWAY series in a very limited space. KUDOS!I am African-American and noticed that the Caucasian guests were uncomfortable in my presence and did not linger.

Great gift shop on the first floor filled with quality gifts for Men, Women, Children and Pets. Home decor, lamps, artwork, clocks, etc., also for sale. Great place to pick up a Hostess gifts, cards. Easy, short term parking directly in front of the building. There is a small but interesting Museum on the second and third floor.

It is a cute little store and has historical information plaques you can read by manikins in old fashioned dress. It was fun to walk through, but not worth going out of your way for.

The store is nice, plenty of mementos to purchase and I did not find it expensive. The museum is equally nice only I found it did not cover Annapolis history from many perspectives, mostly only from one, which is that of the slave trade.

It was nice to go up and experience the visual and audio learning upstairs, and to come down and shop a little, all while right in the midst of everything.

I think the museum is way too slavery centric and it lacks information about Annapolis; which has plenty of history since it was founded in the 1600s, and it is the capital of Maryland.
