The best Art Shop Supply shop in existence. Unfortunately only go there a couple time a year and was not aware they moved from West Annapolis. Went in to panic mode when I went by and the shop was empty. Thrilled to see they have a new shop with easier access. Great location, could they get better then Maryland Hall.

Sky is awesome.. she had the watercolor paper I needed and brushes. Personable and very helpful & friendly.

I used to live less than 5 minutes from this shop so I would go here all the time. Everybody here is so nice and theyre able to help you find what you need, and if they dont have something,(which is rare) they will get one for you. I love how helpful they are and will always go back!

Sorry about that previous review, I think it was a butt dial situation...my phone has no sense of personal boundaries and is always in my business, I must have had a suggestion to rate after visiting.Heres a real review though :) Art Things is awesome! I loved the store previously and am so happy to see it continue and grow with the new ownership. It is the only reliable place to find a quality pencil sharpener, among many other essentials and non-essentials. Also, fairy garden camp was a total hit with my little one.

This little art shop is apparently under new ownership; I used to love this business and reviewed it in 2014 under Yelp, but must admit my vast disappointment at their charging $75 for a 3 hour lesson, for which I received no instruction or assistance. The 10 of us brought our own supplies and the instructor - Rob Woods - was more interested in completing his painting and talking to the experts in the class, than sitting with someone like me who was struggling. When I complained, the owner offered another course without charge. Now, humiliated, why would I subject myself to another embarrassment? We are all newcomers to somethings at sometime but this one was unacceptable to me. I’ll get my art supplies online from now on.

I was having an arguably “bad” day before walking into art things Annapolis. I was unsure and slightly intimidated being a first time art student with very little knowledge but all of that washed away inside. The store is very cute, unique, and had everything I needed on a long list of supplies. The women I met today were beyond warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. They helped me find and carry materials throughout the store, going as far to even suggest different brands to help with my tight budget. These women acted less like salesman with prey, more like long time friends. You get 8 dollars off every 75 dollars spent and any money that doesn’t reach 75 gets rolled over to use on your next purchase. I saved 16 dollars and have 36 dollars going towards my next purchase discount. I must have driven by this store hundreds of times and always thought it looked nice and never gone in. Now I wish I had a long time ago.

Always the most peaceful atmosphere with a limitless selection for the new artist or most accomplished. Its my one stop shop for All Things Art and ink, and paper, and brushes, and canvas, and pencils and a genuine care for customers. (Is it okay to say that?)

Couldnt ask for a better, more eclectic art store. This place is stuffed to the gills with art supplies. The staff is wonderful and the prices are good. I noticed their ink prices actually beat what I found on Amazon.

I visited this establishment twice while in Annapolis and wanted to go back before we left. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was just starting out with pastales. I had never used pan pastels before. It by the time I left I was convinced to try them. Im so glad I did! I love the artsy community it is in!

Best brick-and-mortar art store Ive ever visited. Better than Amazon. I could probably stay in there the better part of a day if i had the time. Staff are well-educated in many areas, and VERY helpful.

Was a walk in customer for years. Love the store, you can get anything you need, if you dont find, and if you ask. Friendly staff and cozy, curiosity inducing store (floors crack, you feel as if its going to give in, and so much to look at, crammed in a tiny store). Feels like old times, as soon as you enter and close the door behind you. I miss it.
