Ive been coming here since I was a child. Charming path in the woods for walking, biking, jogging etc. There is a wonderful little pond full of frogs, fish and turtles. I sunburn easily so its a great way to stay in the shade as you exercise. There is a fun creek and puddles full of wildlife. So many neat things to explore with children. We enjoy the playground, the newly paved path, and the new picnic pavilion! They may need to add another trash can and a recycling bin.

Review №2

Nothing much to really see. Lots of people and bikes on the trail. You can see the hawks flying high overhead. Not much wildlife but the path is paved and flat so its very easy to walk. No mud but there are puddles of water after the rain.

Review №3

1 picnic shelter that is recently upgraded.2 tennis courts2 baseball fields1 beach volleyball courtparks about 40 carsI cant say much about the other facilities but tennis court needs an upgrade... cracks everywhere, wide enough to break your ankle.

Review №4

A nice quiet little park. Picnic tables, and play equipment for the kids. A walking, biking trail runs right through the center. Plenty of parking. Makes for a great day!

Review №5

A lot of nature but still easy to walk and enjoy. It has a very convenient parking lot.

Review №6

Beautiful and peaceful walk this morning. Not as many people so had a chance to connect with nature in a meaningful way.

Review №7

This paek has a great walking trail!

Review №8

Serene little out-of-the-way park with nice baseball fields and tennis courts and plenty of space to explore. A wonderful multi-use trail runs through the park along Accotink Creek, which is part of the Gerry Connelly Cross Country Trail. It makes for some great exploring, and is a great place for a long or short bike ride. There are sand volleyball courts with posts, but you have to bring your own net. One picnic shelter stands a short distance from the parking lot. There is not much here in the way of facilities, but it definitely works well as a place to find your zen.

Review №9

Nice park with bike trail, plenty of room to roam.

Review №10

Good place to go on evening walks, also has playground

Review №11

You need to check out Eakin Community Park. It is a great spot. I find it hard to believe you never heard of it in case you are local. There are other options in the area, so you can accomplish few things the same day.

Review №12

Great place for a long walk.

Review №13

Peaceful n ample room to spread out n have fun in midst of the quarentine.

Review №14

Peaceful, beautiful walks.

Review №15

Beautiful park that is well maintained with great trails.

Review №16

The park is a bit beat up right now. March 30 they start renovations and the improvements should be amazing. Just have to live through the summer construction.

Review №17

The flowers are starting to bloom and it is very lovely and peaceful

Review №18

Awesome nature trail for running or biking- goes from Fairfax all the way to Alexandria on well maintained trails

Review №19

We call this our muddy park. We love the creatures & adventures this little park awards us- and tiny trails leading down to the water where we can toss rocks. My toddler and I have spent hours upon hours here. It’s not much to look at when you first arrive, but given time to explore, it’s definitely a diamond in the rough.

Review №20

I love this park! The new paved sections make biking much more enjoyable.

Review №21

Great trails with interesting nature facts on signs along the way and excellent facilities (play areas and Portopotties. Good for families and friends. Recommended for walking, biking, and scootering!

Review №22

Nice quiet park

Review №23

Very nice park

Review №24

Amazing trails for walking or jogging. Flooding is wild during hard rains.

Review №25

Good educational signage, impressed by the shoe brush to remove/stop the spread of invasive plant seeds. Great idea!! Trail is paved and not muddy.

Review №26

Nice, diverse park.

Review №27

A nice park with a neat trail. A really good place for dogs and kids. A quick getaway from the city fell.

Review №28

Great relaxing walk! Please dont litter

Review №29

I pass through this park regularly on my morning commute along the CCT. Has a small playground, parking for 10 or so vehicles, and a couple picnic tables. Nice spot to park for the trail, but traffic on Prosperity is very busy during rush hour.

Review №30

Convenient place to take a walk, escape traffic.

Review №31

Nice little pond in the middle of this park with frogs, turtles, and fish. We also manage to find a snake or two every time we visit.

Review №32

Great way to enjoy nature take a nice walk on the trails

Review №33

Great park with trails, picnic shelter, tennis court, ball field, a pond, etc. Perfect for wildlife watching, walking, and bike riding.

Review №34

Nice park

Review №36

Wonderful place for a walk. Friendly people abound plus friendly dogs (on leash). Popular but never overly crowded. Ball fields, tennis and volleyball ball pits draw people during warmer months but the place is great anytime of the year except after heavy rains when waterproof shoes or boots are a must for certain sections. Part of Fairfax Countys Cross County Trail, you can walk or bike for miles.

Review №37

A favorite local park for me and my family. There is also Accotink trail access from this park. Pedestrian and bike friendly, however if its been raining it can be a muddy mess back there. Happy trailing!

Review №38

I was on a very long run. Stopped to check it out. A bit to woodsy for my tastes. Rather not risk my kids exposure to ticks. Gorgeous run though.

Review №39

Convienient location.

This is a quaint little community park for Mantua. This park doesnt have fancy equipment nor massive grounds but it is exactly what our family needs. A large picnic area, basketball hoops, a couple jungle gyms, tennis, baseball field, and walking trails. Its never over loaded and that makes it, just like the community itself, perfect for us.

Review №42

Great place to relax after a long week!

Review №43

Great place to walk my dog. They keep the trail maintained pretty well and there are usually lots of other friendly people with their dogs.

Review №44

Nice walk but tends to be a bit busy

Review №45

Nice woods and a setting and trail just gives it a big charm and the fields are pro the pond is superb and it is just a great place and the toads and frogs croaking give it a setting and its just such a good park volleyball is great here you really should go really

Review №46

While the setting is quite nice, surrounded by trees, this park needs some serious upgrades, especially the play area. The play structures are nice in size and variety, but have really aged and are bleached from the sun. The one riding toy in the tot lot is metal. Not exactly ideal, especially since its not fully shaded. The slides, especially in the tot lot bottom out over a foot above the ground, not the safest for small kids barely larger than that.

Review №47

So great to have a place like this. Great trails, well kept.

Review №48

Nice trail and beautiful scenery. Gets muddy and slippery in some area when it rains.

Review №49

Tennis courts and sports fields run parallel to this wooded walk. The trail is paved.

Review №50

Even though some parts of the bike trail may need repair, the park, with the trail, ball fields, and playground on Prosperity Avenue, is a great place to ride a bike or take a walk.Great access to the Camelot neighborhood and Mill Creek Park, as well as Pickett Road, Old Lee Highway, Lee Highway, Thaiss Park, Woodburn Road, King Arthur Road, Little River Turnpike, Americana Park, and the mountain biking trails beyond. I would definitely use this to get from the Braddock Road area up to the W&OD and Vienna area, which gives you access to all of Northern Virginia. Clearly a great asset.

Review №51

Baseball diamonds, volley ball sand courts, large pond, and nice walking/biking Cross Country Trail.

Review №52

Agreed the playground part of the park could be upgraded. Beautiful setting. Plenty of trees and trails

Review №53

Amaizag park ever.

Review №54

Serene, family friendly and not crowded. Walkway and a pond with turtles.

Review №55

Small park with a long and quite trail.

Review №56

A local park serving primarily Mantua residents. It also includes a chunk of the Accotink Creek flood plain and the Cross County Trail. Beach volleyball and baseball diamond as well.
