This is a very nice little park with some cool old buildings on the premises. It’s a good place to go for a walk with a pet or just by yourself. It’s very well-maintained and very clean. It usually doesn’t get too busy either. I think you’ll like it if you go for a walk here.

What a beautiful park, with a lot of trails to explore, they have short loop trails or longer trails that connect to the neighboring parks. The trees here seem to be alive, like they are watching you, you will know these trees when you see them! Cant wait to return when the weather is not so groggy. Enjoy

I really enjoyed walking around this park and checking out the old buildings, and the beautiful river. There are trails through the woods that make you forget youre not too far from civilization, if you ignore the road noise. Great place for a peaceful stroll anytime of year! There is a paved trail that begins up the road from this park that leads to the Matthai botanical gardens, about a 2 mile path.

This was a lovely walk for my husband and I! We brought along our mini dachshund who enjoyed the walk as well! lots of smells and friendly people who are all being very socially conscious! It was a lovely experience and I took note of the childrens area by the creek for when my step son comes to visit. Will definitely be visiting again, even if its a bit of a drive for us.

No large open spaces, but a pretty walking path by the brook and some historic buildings. Make sure to check out the boardwalk a quarter mile down the main trail on the left!

Awesome...close to St. Joes Hospital so if you have to wait for multiple hrs why not squeeze in a walk and get something put of your day. Not a difficult walk with only slight grades here and there. Puts you right into the lap of nature. Great place to clear your mind and just breathe a little.

It was very relaxing to view many beautiful, natural spaces and wildlife such as fish frogs, dragonflies, flowers and even a rabbit. The park had many visitors in the beginning of the trail area but it was still possible to keep safe and socially distanced from others.

A lovely historic park with the Mill and a log cabin. There is a boardwalk through woods, along the creek to the river with overlooks. At the overlooks there is signage with information about the geology and history of the area. We also like Parker Mill as a starting out point for a bike ride down to Gallup Park or (across Geddes) to the Matthai Botanical Gardens.

Great trails. And hidden trails as you walk into the park from Gallup and Dixboro dam. Watch out for one of Ann Arbors hidden gems of a spot for running or walking

This Park is a lovely gem. The park features historic buildings, boardwalks, overlooks, and groomed trails for hikers and cyclists. The trails take the wanderer along the creek and to a scenic view of a bend in the Huron River. There is an underpass of a rail line for the train lover. Signage is scattered about offering explanations as to the history and science of the area. There are gloriously huge oak trees, babbling waters, and sweet scents to appreciate on your way along the paths. I plan to visit often to appreciate the seasons and respite of this little jewel. If I were a teacher, I would plan a field trip and take advantage of the pavilion for the class to have a memorable learning opportunity.

Great park! The trails are nice, and scenic, plus the cider Mill is open on Sundays. Also in the summer, people will fly fish on the shallow portion of Huron river at the end of the trail. Plus if you walk down the cement path, it leads to the aquaduct sluice.. pretty educational for the kids, and cool to see!

This is an absolutely beautiful place. My favorite time of year to walk these trails is in the fall when the colors are changing. The whole forest along the board trail is covered in the gold of fallen leaves. Like something out of a fairy tale. My hope is that the construction of the senior housing facility behind and adjacent to the park will not negatively impact this experience. Ideally it will be a great compliment to the area for senior residents to be able to get out and enjoy the park without having to drive to get there.

This is a great place to walk, both in itself and because it connects to the county Border-to-Border trail. The newer addition allows you to bike safely (a shocking turn of events) to the Matthaei Botanical Gardens. There are some great trees, wood thrushes, and places to hang out near the river. The history part (the actual mill) is nothing spectacular, but its a good excuse for a park. Two reasons for the four stars instead of five: First, the main paved path is crumbling and second, there is a huge new senior living development on the periphery of the park, which has exacerbated the paths condition.

We met with a photographer to do the kids birthday photos. It was a gorgeous place to get the pictures taken. There was also a cool little water pump toy (not sure how else to describe it) right off of the river for the kids to play with. There wasnt a play structure where we were, but its possible there may be one elsewhere. There were many people biking and picnicking through the park. It seems like a pretty popular place

A great destination for a nature getaway, allowing you to experience trees, wildlife, a small creek with plenty of walking trails. Great for walking dogs. The grist mill is open a few times a year, and the guides provide a great description of the mill and what life was like around the turn of the century. They will even operate the mill so you can see it actually grind and mill some corn. A nice pathway under Geddes road takes you to a small pavilion with some educational signs. The walkway in the southern direction actually takes you to the dam near Dixboro Road, which connects you to the trail way along the Huron River to Gallup Park.

I really like this park. Some parts are 5 stars but going down the main paved path you come across a giant construction site on the right and then up the trail a bit more you see a fabulous factory. I wouldnt really care about the factory but that area gives of a repugnant smell, that is almost gagging. After getting past that part to the dam, it is nice again. But sad to see less nature and bad smells.Id highly recommend the board walks though. Usually you can see deer close by. Water fountain toy things are also pretty cool.

A very delightful 1 mile Loop goes from the park to the edge of Gallup Park along the Huron river. Shutting off from the main Loop are several side Trails which goes for the woods. Intermittently Shady with a good view of the stream. I have never gone inside of the Cider Mill so I cannot attest to that but the outdoor activities are nice. Finally theres a nice cover Pavilion where we have had picnics with our golden retriever.

I went here to do a photo shoot with my client CuteTaye. This location was so beautiful and quiet. The shot three different areas that day and got a different vibe each timeWhich is what I loved most. What I did have a problem with was the foam in the water that later ended up the news. If it was toxic then it definitely should have been a sign up because we were in that area. Photos turned out great though. The check them out. Follow CuteTaye on Instagram
