Peter is a rockstar!! He was responsive and to our needs and changes (even 24 hours before)! The music was perfect for dancing but also allowing our guests to talk to each other without having to scream. He knew our music like the back of his hand, not a single bad song! These guys have been responsive throughout this process (delay due to COVID). I just can’t say enough about this company and Peter himself. Well... I could go on and on and on about AllStar Entertainment and DJ Mac but unfortunately there is a character limit. We originally touched base with Jeremy before the COVID crisis hit and we weren’t sure how we would pull off a wedding, let alone the one we hoped to have. Jeremy and DJ Mac were extremely helpful and professional. On our original consultation with DJ Mac we talked about music for an hour as if we were friends at a bar talking over beers. It made me feel so comfortable letting him take the wheel.We had to cut our guest list down from 250 to 50 people due to NYS mandates and un-invite tons of our friends and family. We battled everything from the guest list cutting, to other vendor changes, to a complete venue change. We were devastated but wanted to have our wedding on the originally scheduled date. AllStar Entertainment was positive, accommodating, and professional through out this entire process.When it came to our wedding day, being a huge music head myself, I gave Mac a pretty extensive list of music from every decade to give him an idea of our music tastes. And on that day... let me say he left us SPEECHLESS. He absolutely crushed the music and I still have people telling me how it was the greatest wedding music they’ve ever heard. We didn’t know how the day would turn out, but because of AllStar Entertainment, Jeremy and his crew, and DJ Mac, we had a day that turned out beyond our wildest expectations.Let me finish by saying if you do not hire these guys for your wedding, you’re making a big mistake. DJ Tom M recently did our wedding. We were absolutely thrilled. Having a wedding during a pandemic is unbelievably stressful. Tom took control from the first meeting until the last dance. He always stayed in touch, had fantastic ideas and custom edited songs for us. We had a lot of changes due to COVID but it never threw him. He was so professional and looked like a million bucks at the wedding. We were a little uncertain about having a DJ because we were having a smallish 2nd wedding but were so ecstatic in the end that we went for it. DJ Brian is the BEST!! He was so easy to work with and a true professional. Brian DJ’d our New Years Eve wedding and kept the dance floor packed all night! Mac made our holiday party absolutely spectacular! We had a throwback prom theme and he came strapped with every hit and deep-cut from the 70s-00s (especially the 80s!) that we craved and even some wed forgotten about. We cant say enough about DJ Brian! He was awesome. He had the dance floor packed for the entire wedding and we had so much fun. One guest said shed never seen a dance floor fill so quickly and stay so full for so long. He checked in with us once in a while to make sure we were happy (we were) and he did a great job announcing people when needed, but let the music play the rest of the night. He told us to trust him- we did and we couldnt have made a better choice!

DJ Brian did an amazing job at our wedding! He got everyone excited and dancing, and really helped make it such a special night. Craig went above an beyond for our wedding day! From the ceremony, cocktail hour, to reception all the music reflected our taste in music and had everyone on their feet dancing and having a great time. He even helped me figure out how to run a last minute trivia game I did with my guests which ran so smoothly and kept everyone engaged. People say it was one of the most fun parts about the wedding; all thanks to Craig. He kept the crowd engaged and excited with his charisma and personality! He was my right hand man in keeping me organized as far as the days timeline and making sure we were able to do all the dances and activities I requested. We were lucky enough to get Thomas as our DJ he was absolutely incredible. I had been worried about the dancing at the wedding (a lot of my guest don’t dance at parties or anywhere) but some how he did it! We had so much fun and people are continuing to tell me how great he was a week and a half after the wedding! I cannot say enough great things about him.Leading up to the wedding he did great as well. Very professional, very clear on what he likes, said he was a real stickler on time with events during the wedding (which he was, and that made everything at the wedding run smooth), he was awesome!During the ceremony my sister played a song as I walked out. He made sure she was ready for that!We also had a slight hiccup of someone not telling us when to go out during the ceremony. He made sure to let the groomsmen/making sure they were ready and know that he was starting the music for them to walk out! He was fabulous! I am sure there is much more that he did for us that I don’t remember or was not aware of but I have heard no complaints and I don’t have any either.Hire DJ Thomas!Also when signing the contract with this company it was a very easy process as well. Sean was our DJ and he nailed it! He was an excellent fit for our wedding. He played all of the music that we loved during the cocktail hour and dinner and then kept the dance floor moving the rest of the night. Before we knew it we were at the end of the night, and so bummed the party was over. Thank you, Sean, for an incredible night and some unforgettable dance moments!

Where do we begin!? Our experience with DJ Angel Alba was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. Angel reached out to us immediately after signing our contract with AllStar (who were also amazing to work with), and was extremely enthusiastic and excited about our upcoming wedding. Before we even met in person, we knew he was the DJ for us. Upon meeting him, Angel was exactly as we imagined: professional, always smiling, and incredibly helpful and supportive as we put our wedding music/events together. He even made some last second changes for us based on our last second requests. Angel also knew a few things to “confirm” with the venue that we never would have thought of and were super important (do they have outdoor outlets, etc). Perhaps the sweetest thing Angel did was text me in the morning of our wedding day to tell us happy wedding day. Really and truly above and beyond! On our wedding day, Angel was at our venue super early to set up and the entire ceremony and reception flowed perfectly from start to finish. We received so many compliments from guests about how fantastic he was and how smoothly the ceremony/reception ran with his music and MCing. He also played every single one of our “must plays” and even added in our favorite genre (country! ) over the night because he knew we loved it. Angel is a real professional and a truly wonderful person. We would recommend him to ANYONE for their wedding or any event! THANK YOU Angel!

DJ Pete was the best! He was great to work with and met with us a couple weeks before the wedding to go over the day and any requests we had. Our goal was to have the dance floor full all night long and he DJ Pete exceeded any expectations we had. He didn’t take a break the whole night and checked in with us to see if there was anything specific we wanted to play. It was the best party ever and we even extended it an hour longer. He had guests of all ages on the dance floor and yelling for an encore!! We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ on our special day. We wanted a party and we certainly got one thanks to Pete!! He was receptive of all our requests, even those last minutes one and offered great advice. A true professional. We couldn’t recommend him more strongly!!!

AllStar Entertainment was one of the best investments we had for our wedding! Their pricing for their DJ is very reasonable considering the expertise of them and how quick they are to reply to you. They were my favorite vendors to work with for my wedding. DJ Mac was our DJ and he was beyond great! From our skype video chat to get to know each other to our face to face meeting a week before our wedding and the emails we sent back and forth, he was very friendly and outgoing and kept the party going throughout the night! We had DJ Jeremy for our wedding in Gloucester. He did a great job getting the party dancing and had a great music selection! DJ Brian was amazing at my wedding! Guests still cant stop talking about how great the music was and the dance floor was packed all night. From the beginning, choosing a DJ was probably one of the biggest vendor decisions for me since I love music so much and think music really sets the tone for the entire wedding. Brian played music from all ages and genres which was perfect since we had a lot of different age groups.I talked to many different companies but didnt feel comfortable until I spoke with Jeremy. He and everyone at AllStar (including Brian) were super responsive and answered all my questions in a timely manner.Brian played all of our requested songs and only did so when he spotted me or my now husband in the room. He was super fun the whole night and he even stayed at the end to play a couple extra songs! DJ Brian did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music/announcing and everything was so seamless and went off without a hitch.If youre going back and forth choosing a DJ/Uplighting company I would definitely go with AllStar and request DJ Brian!! (We used Uplighting service as well and the room was beautiful!)

Mac provided, without a doubt, the best DJ experience we have ever had or seen for our wedding this past Saturday (Oct. 19, 2019). From the outset, he made a point of making sure that he got right those parts of the event that we knew we wanted, and provided absolutely stellar guidance on those aspects we were unsure about or didnt have a clear vision on. As for the day-of, he showed up dressed in an extravagant suit that fit the theme and feel we wanted for the event perfectly. Numerous guests commented on how spectacular a job Mac was doing throughout the night.Our first dance was somewhat unique in that we wanted to sing a duet and actually perform for our guests, complete with wigs and a costume change. Mac was nothing short of phenomenal here in bringing our vision to life. His ability to map out and truly understand our tastes, work around our needs, and genuinely read the room and keep the energy exactly where it needed to be was spot-on the entire night. It was truly an honor to have seen a master at his craft work so hard for us.

AllStar Entertainment did an incredible job with our wedding and the price was extremely reasonable for the fantastic quality of service we received. The owner, Jeremy, was very patient with all of our questions and helped us decide which DJ was best for us. We worked with DJ Brian for the wedding and he was nothing short of phenomenal. Brian was extremely professional, offered great suggestions, and did a great job reading the crowd. He even went so far as to play a specialized playlist we wanted for our cocktail hour even though the music was very difficult to find. I recommend AllStar 120% if you are considering them for your wedding. The only feedback I would give was that towards the end of the night when dessert was being served we had like a ton left over; a bunch of guests came up to us and said it wasnt announced. I dont know if that was more-so a miscommunication between the venue and Brian, but such a minor detail couldnt possibly ruin the exceptional experience we had. After the wedding my sister in law came up to us and told my husband and I that it was the best wedding playlist shed ever heard, and shed been to six weddings this year. Thank you DJ Brian and Jeremy for helping Kurt and I have the perfect wedding. We are forever grateful!!!

Dj Brian was very easy to talk to and reach. Just ask for what you want and he’ll do it. The only thing I forgot to mention to him was to play part of the favorite songs not the entire song cause I ran out of time!

DJ Seaneo did an outstanding job at our party. We are a reserved bunch of people but Sean built the dance floor and and had us going off in no time. Great vibes. Knows how to read his crowd. Versatile - mixed smoothly through all types of music. Great customer service - engaged with us all night. Talented. A true artist. Highly recommend!

Brian was the Dj at our wedding and it was an absolute blast! He made sure to play every song we had listed for him to play at certain times and never missed a beat! The music was lighter and softer during cocktail and dinner time so you could chat people then picked up and he had everyone dancing the rest of the night!

We used All Star Entertainment to hire both our DJ and Harpist for our big day. I will review them separately:DJ-We used Anthony as our DJ and he was absolutely fantastic. He was the only one of my vendors that would occasionally check in just to see how our planning was going. It was such a nice touch and really made us feel like he cared about our day and that we weren’t just ‘another wedding’ to him. He was always super quick to respond and very easy to work with during the process of planning. On the day of, he was always upbeat and never hesitated to fit in a song request. He did an amazing job at really paying attention to our crowd and playing the type of songs they were responding to. Everyone had such a good time dancing the night away. Even my 4 year old nephew was out there break dancing and having a great time! I would 100% recommend him if you need a DJ!Harpist-We used Theresa Tafuri to play the harp during our ceremony and cocktail hour. She was the first vendor to reach out to me about the planning process once we were close to the big day. I appreciated her early planning! During the planning she had great suggestions and was very helpful with helping us figure out what type of music we wanted her to play. The music was absolutely beautiful on the big day. We had so many compliments from our guests on how different/unique the harp was. They really enjoyed it and thought it was a nice touch. If we ever want to add a special touch to another event in the future, we will definitely be working with Theresa again!

Its hard to overstate what a good decision hiring Mac for your wedding or event will be!! We attended a wedding where Mac DJd — one of the most fun dance parties weve ever been a part of — and knew that we had to hire him for our own wedding when the time came. The bar was set high from that event and he did NOT disappoint. In addition to a super fun party that struck the exact vibe we envisioned, Mac was incredibly easy to communicate with leading up to and during the event — easygoing, friendly, timely. We had a wonderful personalized ceremony in Boston and we even included a wine box that he suggested based on our personality and love of wine!Our marriage certificate was filed immediately after our wedding, and we were able to pick up our license just a few short days after our wedding.All in all, I couldnt have asked for a more considerate, fun, professional Justice of the Peace to unite us together.

Awesome experience working with Mike from AllStar Entertainment. My husband and I loved the lights and music. He played a great balance of upbeat music to keep the party going and slower songs we requested. He was always available for questions leading up to the wedding and gave us suggestions for things we werent sure about. We were running behind so he adjusted the itinerary to make sure we still had lots of time for dancing and didnt miss anything we wanted to include. When we met Justice Michael, we literally booked with him on the spot. My husband and I loved working with him throughout the planning process for our ceremony. Awesome-Seriously THE best. They were professional, accommodating and most importantly reasonably priced. From our first meeting with him, it felt like we had known each other for years. It has been about a month since our wedding and we are still getting phone calls from our guests that this was the best wedding theyve been too and cannot stop talking about how great James was - myself and my guests have never seen a dance floor full the entire wedding. Jeremy was great. He played all the music we asked for and kept the party flowing. He even provided more lights than we were anticipating. We will definitely use him and his company again.

DJ Tom Michaels was top of the line!From the first song after the bride/groom & parents dance the WHOLE dance floor was packed. It was that way up to the very end. Thank you for making the music perfect for everyone!!!

AllStar Entertainment was fantastic from start to finish. We hired DJ Mike for our wedding. He was very responsive to emails - he responded within hours of each message I sent him. I decided last minute that I wanted a photobooth and as soon as I contacted Mike about it, he set it up for us. We met with him a few weeks before the ceremony to talk about music preferences and he did a great job finding a way to play songs that we enjoy (i.e. country music) in addition to songs that he knew would get our guests on the dance floor. Ive never seen people who wanted to dance during the dinner courses at a wedding but the music was so good our guests couldnt wait to start dancing. Mike did a great job reading the room and playing songs that he knew people would enjoy. Ive gotten multiple compliments from guests saying how much they loved the music at our wedding. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for an amazing DJ!

We had James as a DJ for our wedding and couldnt have been happier with him. I really felt like he listened to what kind of music we wanted. My husband isnt big on dancing so James made several suggestions on what we could do for the song after our first Dance. He played Save the last dance for me and got everyone on the dance floor! it was great and my husband felt really comfortable with not being the center of attention. I got so many compliments from my guests. He played the right amount of slow songs to keep the mood romantic while playing classic dance songs to get everyone on the dance floor.For the ceremony James made several suggestions for what we could use for the processional and I loved them all!

DJ James has a new-school, unique way of keeping everyone involved, dancing and having a great time throughout the entire night. He knows how to talk to a crowd without being cheesy and maintains the highest form of professionalism from the first time you talk to him, until the very last song of the night. So many of our guests told us afterwards how impressed they were with him. We felt calm and relaxed knowing that DJ James had everything under control! I cant say enough about what a fanastic job Jeremy at AllStar Entertainment did for my husbands 40th surprise party. Very easy to work with and the music and lighting were perfect. The guests had a blast and even the caterers commented to me about how great the DJ was. Really made the experience of planning a big party less stressful.

AllStar truly provides and all star experience. We used them for our DJ, uplighting, and pianist for our cocktail hour. DJ Peter Healey was amazing; our guests were dancing all night. The music was one of the most important parts of our reception and we wanted the perfect mix of country, pop and throw back music. Peter played the perfect combination of what we were looking for. He really listened to us in the planning meeting and was well-prepared for our day. The uplighting was amazing! The lighting designer stayed for the whole night and adjusted the lighting to fit the feel of each part of the evening. The pianist, Steve, added the perfect amount of romantic elegance to our cocktail hour in Searles Castle. I highly recommend AllStar!

AllStar Entertainment and DJ Tom Michaels were fantastic. We had a great experience with this company and DJ Tom for our wedding at the Westin in Copley Square on 9/6/14. DJ Tom listened to all of our requests in the pre-event meeting and played everything we wanted and much more. He was very patient with some rowdy wedding guests and the flow of the music was perfect the entire evening. I would highly recommend DJ Tom for your wedding or any event.

When shopping for a DJ, my husband and I looked into All Star Entertainment on the advice of a friend. I say shopping in quotes because our search started and ended with DJ James DiNanno. We knew immediately that James was no salesman, just a charismatic guy who genuinely loves what he does. Throughout that first conversation we discussed our style and vision. You could say that my husband and I have a pretty eclectic taste in music.. (We talked about the Fleet Foxes. Our intro song was Life on Mars by Bowie). To our surprise, James was not only knowledgeable about our tastes but also enthusiastic. We left there knowing we made the right choice.James promised that he would not be center stage at our wedding, and he truly wasnt. Ive seen my fair share of wedding DJs who take away from the meaning of the night by making it about themselves. James was present, fun and interactive but he was never overbearing. Weve had countless guests comment on how likable and professional our DJ was.James is an artist, skilled at reading a room and creating/maintaining a buzzing energy level. My dad, a product of his era, remarked that there werent as many slow songs as he expected. We know that this is because our guests drove the music, James could sense that we were a particularly wild group, and he played off that skillfully. And believe me, even my dad got DOWN.Last but not least. Unfortunately for us, the event coordinator at our venue was less than stellar at her job...but Ill leave that for another review. Due to lack of direction and communication, the entire bridal party felt a bit lost and frustrated at pivotol points throughout the night. Without even needing to be consulted, James and our photographer Katherine Taylor sprung into action and worked together seamlessly to bring everyone on the same page. The result? Not a single guest knew that we had ran into any trouble at all. The night was perfect, and we could not be more grateful to have such an amazing team there to take care of us.I would not hesitate to recommend DJ James DiNanno to anyone. And since we were the first of our friends to get married, my husband and I have our fingers crossed that well get a chance to party with him again some day.

We chose All star entertainment ivy league division (specifically Dan Campbell) for our wedding. That decision made our wedding, We couldnt have been more happy with Dan. In two meetings he listened to everything we wanted and incorporated the tastes of all our guests - young and old. When we didnt know what we wanted Dan made awesome suggestions that made our wedding an all night dance party. We texted Dan up to two days before the wedding and it wasnt an issue, He incorporated every single request we had.Cant go wrong with all star entertainment !

When we started thinking about our wedding reception, we knew that music was extremely important to us. We had a specific vision in mind of what we wanted, and just as importantly, what we didnt want from our DJ. We were very non-traditional with our approach to our wedding as a whole, and were not going to include what was typical of most wedding receptions (i.e. introduction of the couple, first dance, cutting of the cake, etc). We also wanted to create a high-energy, club-like experience for the dance portion of the evening. We personally do not enjoy dancing to a lot of the music we hear at many weddings such as We Are Family, The Electric Slide, and basically any other song that had a line dance associated with it. As we interviewed DJs and explained our vision for our wedding, we felt that although they were willing to go along with what we wanted to do, they didnt necessarily understand where we were coming from.We happened to find Ivy League DJs (a division of AllStar Entertainment) when we Googled non-traditional wedding DJs or non-cheesy Boston DJs (something like that), and were intrigued by their website which described themselves as professional DJs who flawlessly beat-mix cutting edge dance music with classic hits and cater to couples who dont want a traditional wedding DJ playing cliche music, initiating cheesy games or teaching line dances at your wedding. That described us perfectly! We listened to their mix samples that they had online and immediately contacted them for an appointment. From our very first meeting with DJ James DiNanno, we felt a great connection. As we described our ideal wedding, we could see his excitement for our vision. Throughout the entire planning process, James took note of our ideas, while offering great advice and helpful suggestions.On the day of our wedding, James provided the sound for our ceremony. He arrived early to set up his equipment and do a sound check with the musicians that we had hired. When the ballroom opened after cocktail hour, he had music playing that fit the style we requested (a mix of current and older fun music) and it was at a volume level where people could still easily have a conversation. We had asked him to make some general housekeeping announcements before dinner was served. James was extremely articulate and professional. When it came time for dancing, James far exceeded our expectations. The dance floor was never empty! He masterfully mixed current hits with some old-school rap with some of our disco favorites. The energy was incredible in the room all night!
