Loved it. They had a variety of choices of good and drinks, the prices were decent, the tickets are cheap, and the theatre is roomy. It was clean and workers were friendly.

The theater is located in the now closed Mounds Mall. The theater doesnt have the reclining seating that many other theaters offer. However, the ticket prices are about half of what you will pay at more modern theatres. Overall not a bad experience, just not a lot of extras.

Extremely affordable theater...the most affordable Ive seen in Indiana that is showing the new releases. I was shocked at how affordable the tickets AND the concessions were. Yes, the popcorn isnt the best quality, but compared to the $20 bucket of popcorn you would get anywhere else, its still good and definitely way cheaper. My dad I spend maybe $30 at this theater for movie, popcorn, drinks, and candy, where normally we would spend about twice that. I think for the price and location (empty mall in Anderson), its pretty nice. Its not overly clean, but I havent noticed anything concerning. The only problem is really no fault of the theater itself, but of the hiring manager. It appears as though half of the employees are strung out on drugs or simply dont care. Some are very nice and most have been helpful. Overall, for Anderson, where there is literally nothing else wholesome to do, its a pretty good theater.

Sometimes they dont turn off the lights. The soda pop tastes funny. They made us all go to the lobby for the tornado warning one time but they started the movie again were it was interuppted.

This theater is stuck in the dark ages of film not only in technology but also in management. I had a group consisting of 35 purchasing tickets for Avengers Endgame. In order to help the theater accommodate us we called weeks prior to reserve seats. The manager assured us this wouldnt be a problem. We were told the day before this wouldnt be possible but we were welcome to arrive early and stop people from sitting there, the manager also told us that they couldnt stop people from fighting us for the seats. We were also informed that he wouldnt be present that day as he was frequenting another theater.The theater was filthy and the staff was rude. After the show we were told to go out the back door because the front was flooded.I highly recommend that management upgrade their theater and retrain their staff.

Prices for the movie are better than at some of the other theaters Ive been to. But there is a tradeoff for that. Went for the later showing of endgame. The popcorn was not even remotely fresh and was really salty. And the theater we were in was extremely hot. I actually had to leave it for a few minutes to try and cool down. But on the plus side the pretzels are pretty good. And the staff is pretty friendly.

Had an 11:00am party scheduled and was told to show up an hour early to set up. No one was there to open the doors until 11:05. Of course most of the people had already arrived and we all were outside waiting. So no decorations because the manager over slept. Apparently the ac is broken as well because the room was very hot and never got any better. This theater has really went down the toilet. Will never go back.

Let me just say we went to see Lion King movie was great but theater was filthy popcorn all over the floor, and when we were settled in our seat a big come climbing across my chest, and I immediately jumped up and turnt my flashlight on checking the seat for bugs, and also we asked for a little extra butter the put so much butter in our bag it leaked all over me and clear the the carring box. I was very disappointed in our mall cinema!!!!!!!

This place is not the greatest but its the only movie theater that Anderson, Indiana has. The ticket prices for Adults are $6.75 and for children ages 3 and up its $6.50. The snacks are affordable and the staff are friendly, when I go the bathroom is always clean and the theater is clean. I have no complaints!

Went to the opening show of Fantastic Beast. The movie had glitches that lasted several minutes throughout the show. This is a movie I had been looking forward to seeing all year and I do not treat myself to the movies very often. Told the management about the issues it had as we were leaving. He said Yeah I have had several people tell me this already but I have never known it to happen and havent seen it for myself. I asked if I could come back and see it after they resolve the issue. He said I dont think it is actually doing it, I cant do anything for you. I didnt even ask for a refund, just to watch a clean copy of it so I didnt miss anything. 1. That manager knows nothing about managing. 2. the theater kinda sucks but it the only one around and I like supporting small businesses. There was one other movie I was looking forward to seeing last month. I went to Muncie for it. Theatre was 10 nicer even had recliner seats, go figure the movie actually played all the way through. With this poor service they will go out of business like the rest of the mall. I know we will never be going back there again.

The theater is relatively clean and tickets are cheaper than most other places.The only problem with these theaters is that theyre mostly filled with people from Anderson.If its a movie for children, go ahead and save yourself some money and hit up this old mall theater in Anderson.

The theater seemed decent enough when I went to see the movie the Nun . My Brother, Sister and I were able to get drinks from the concessions with relative ease, and the staff were polite and able to see our other needs quickly. The only drawback to the theater is its location, its a little out of the way, and with a lot of the mall closed down you have to drive around the mall until you find the theater. But that said, there is plenty of parking and its a nice place to go which is nearby for college students.

Mounds 10 is still a nice comfortable movie theater. It was warm, the price is reasonable, and popcorn and snacks available. I went to the 1:20 movie on a Wednesday. They now have their own outside entrance so I had to hunt for it this first time.

Everything great ..... except popcorn. Popcorn SUCKS, never fresh. Everything else is worth the relative value.

If I could rate this as a 0 or a negative I would!!! I was absolutely disappointed with this place. During my movie a red screen appeared over the movie. This happened several times through out the movie and lasted for several minutes. When I talked to the supervisor he said that others had complained about it but there was nothing he could do. We asked for a refund and he said since he didnt understand what we were talking about (since he didnt see it himself) than he couldnt do anything about it. He said he had been there for 11 years and hadnt heard of it happening and apparently it only happened during our showing. I have never had management be so irresponsible!!!!! I will never go there again!!!!!

Clean theatre, decent prices. The free movies over the summer are such a great thing! My family really enjoys and benefits from this. I hope it continues for years. Im happy to have fou d out about it this year and been able to take advantage. They have a good selection of movies for being free!

Prices are great for concession however the theaters need some major attention! The seats were broken down and the theater smelled. Very clean, just needs some tlc.

About ten years ago, I took Kayden, my nephew, here to watch a movie. It was a super hero movie so the theater was packed. Kayden and his brother sat in the front row. About half way through the movie, Kayden gets up and looks for me. He spots me and says; Hi Aunt Wendi. Then he came and sat on my lap. Kayden has always been so sweet. Now he is a teenager and he had a date so I took him to the theater for his date. I met his date and her mom. Im sorry to say I wasnt weird. It was a missed opportunity.You are probably thinking this is the lamest story ever. All I want to know is if this a good place to see a movie. It is. They need recliners but its pretty dope. Also the popcorn is amazing.Seriously, get recliners.Scratch that. Wait till my nephew stops going on dates. Then introduce the recliners.

The theater is going down hill fast due to the mall closure. They are trying to save it by allowing 30 minutes of advertising before you actually get to watch the movie you intended. Going to the movies Used to be fun. Save the advertising for local network television.

Theater gets a little filthy late at night, especially in the girls bathroom from what my girlfriend has reported. Guys is not too bad, but it doesnt get checked regularly as it should. They really could use more staff to help at the concession stand because they get overwhelmed, but not for lack of effort or organization. They just simply are outmanned and should really consider opening up another register that they already have instead of always thinking about getting everything shut down so quickly. This might be another reason why I dont think this theater will last much longer. The location is now not good at all. The uncertainty of the mall is in question as to what its disposition will finally be but one thing is for certain. When you have a theater that has only one entrance but two exits, you probably would want to make sure that in order to get into the theater that the drainage would be proper and appropriate so it would not drain an entire rushing Rapids of water that is stagnant after a storm! There was absolutely no regard by the management of the theater or the management of the building or property with regard to proper water drainage, which was so bad it looked like a lake and in fact, it was nearly Knee Deep in water, stagnant water at that, mixed in with trash and other litter that made it very unsanitary to try to Wade through, just to see a movie that was not even shown in 3D! This is why the majority of Madison County does not patronize this establishment and go elsewhere, regardless of the travel time or the costs involved, to entertain themselves in a cinema. The stagnant water and drainage has got to be addressed immediately, because the remodel of the entrance way never took this into account when it went from being accessed from the outside from being accessed through the mall that is now closed. The entrance was made very haphazardly and did not take into any consideration whatsoever the drainage. The city of Anderson should look into this immediately and code enforcement should be taken care of before someone gets hurt or sick from Wading through the drainage that does not occur. At this point, if they shut down the theater it would be no big deal. They should move the theater back to Applewood Center or another property because the current owners do not have the resources to properly run a cinema. The workers there try their darndest, but it is obvious that the owners of the business dont care, dont have the money, or have a clue or the motivation to get it fixed. It will probably be closed by midsummer anyway. The ownership, if they cared, what is addressed this by now if they intended on staying in business instead of getting ready to file bankruptcy or close down for good and then even the employees and the current patrons will be all screwed as the last Cinema complex in Anderson Folds because of incompetent ownership.

Place has bed bugs and honestly they are kind of run down . i would recommend the amc in muncie because they have no bed bugs and if you pay a little more for Imax you get a recliner and better audio/video.

Its okay. Good place to watch movies, but its not very fancy. AND Im worried about the cleanliness.

Prices are cheaper than Noblesville or Indy. They have a stamp card that I always use for rewards which is nice. When its full you earn free tickets. They could use a few small cosmetic improvements such as replacing hooks for coats/purses in the ladies bathroom. Staff have always been pleasant and I like helping the local economy. One of my favorite things to do with friends and family :)

Ive visited multiple times and it has always been very dirty in lobby and restrooms. Staff is always busy gossiping and is very slow to provide you with service. We have eventually stopped going here.

Its a movie theater. The popcorn and soda are top notch. The films are of good quality and they start ON TIME. What more can you ask for? If you want amazing service go somewhere else. No one wants your complaining ass there, anyway.

Best theatre in Madison County. Food is pricey but thats to be expected. Seating is comfortable. Ticket prices are fair, and the showings are recent and keeps the community up to date with our favorite form of entertainment.

Very ehh. The staff is never friendly but also never rude (to me). The theatres have been a lot more clean lately than what I previously remember (hence 4 stars instead of less).Seats are nothing special.Only theatre option in Anderson. If you want a more ecstatically pleasing theatre, with higher prices, then youll need to make at least an extra 20 minute drive to find the competition.

The theater is beyond out dated. Items in the theater were literally being held together with duct tape. It is also dreafully obvious the carpets have not been cleaned in quite some time. With my experience, I encountered uncaring staff. It is cheap but you get what you pay for.

Experience is average. Chairs are getting old and not as comfortable as other theaters. Glad to still have it in town but as other theaters continue to improve the drive to them seems more worth it.

Small theater, not overly clean but not any dirtier than any other theater. Pretty cheap ticket price for a Saturday night (2 adults for about $11). Popcorn was stale. Almost impossible to see from the road as its in a mall with no open stores.

The popcorn bags leak so bad the theater put up a sign saying they are not responsible. Think about that. They knowingly provide you with the leaky bags. So they ARE responsible. To date, we have seen 20 other movies at places OTHER than this theater, because of leaky bags. They are responsible for their own demise too.

My family has never had one negative experience, despite rumors. We are happy to have a local movie theater!

I have to agree with Brett... the concession counter staff in my opinion could be better? I mean theyre either standing around doing nothing? Or detached during the actual ordering process?? One guy never looked up at me during the entire order? I remember his French manicure nail polish!! Also we went to a show that had a different start time than the ticket, and the ticket person didnt say a word!!! We were early.... Just left and got passes for another time! I only go cause its local...popcorn is always cold! No matter what time of day you go! Not impressed!

Anderson Theater is awesome - reasonably priced and friendly. Just as good as any other theater although not many customers these days. More people should come check it out for the prices and the fact they do a fine job showing the movies.Never had a speaker out or sound issue, theater rooms seem well cleaned.

I think the theater itself is fine. One star is for the very poor customer service. I just went to see Daddys Home 2 at 1:00 matinee with my grandson. I ordered popcorn and a fountain drink. We get to our seats and settle in. I picked up my drink and the cup collapsed and my drink soaked me, my seat and the floor. I went to the restroom to try to clean up and stopped at the concession stand to ask if I could get another cup so I could salvage what drink I had left. To my surprise the young girl told me no and I would have to buy another one. I replied youve got to be kidding me? Im just asking for a small cup to which she replied, I know it sucks right? She didnt even offer to mop up the mess so I returned and found another seat for my grandson and I. With the expensive prices we have to pay for the concessions Im sure you would not go bankrupt over a small paper cup! Maybe educating these youngsters on what GOOD Customer Service is should be at the top of your priority list especially if you want repeat customers. It might be worth an extra couple of miles to go to a different theater from now on. So disappointed with the lack of training businesses give these kids.

Movie started on time, sorry for the low attendance at the theater. It broke my heart to see the Mounds Mall so empty, but I think the city threatening to flood the area is to blame. So sad that is happening.

Its a great mall!!! The theaters are wonderful. Sometimes yeah, the staff may be kinda crappy, but we are all human! Somtimes we make mistakes. They could just be having a bad day, so show them a smile & kill them with kindness. You might just make somebodys day!!!

We paid to watch a movie and was asked to leave because the people behind us were very rude and my boy Friend turned around and told them to stop being rude. The officer working was an unfair dick who doesnt deserve a badge. Instead of working out the issue he acted very unprofessional. Have to say Im usual all about our boys in blue but its hard when you come across one who choices to abuse his authority. We wont be returning! !

Ive been in worse, but been in nicer. We have many theaters nearby, so its easy to travel to other theaters where the surroundings have a bigger selection of diners and department stores.

The refreshments are always nice and the staff are helpful. I frequently take my younger siblings to see movies and its always a nice place to be.

Horrible. Movie had start time of 6:50 so we went into theatre at 6:50 and movie was already showing. We thought we were late; turns out it was THE END of the previous showing!! Ticket counter said nothing to us about running late so we ended up seeing the end of the movie before the beginning! This was after we stood in line over 15 minutes for overpriced cold popcorn (2 concession workers + 1 worker who just stood there staring at the others). Will not be back - too many other options. By the way, its 7:15 and the movie still has not started (ticket even has start time of 6:50).
