Has all the facilities that one would need (restroom, playground, seats and more). Beach view was nice, a 6/10. Steep grass hill made a perfect spot for sitting and viewing the beach. Parking was not free though.

First time there not sure what to expect. There was one sketchy individual but Im not sure of the circumstances. Used this to park for the coastal trailhead. Adequate. Annoying you have to pay for parking.

Not much to look at along the way but its great to get out, get some fresh air or some good cardio on the coastal trail. Sometimes youll be able to catch the train passing through.

Its a beautiful little park overlooking the railroad tracks and the Cook Inlet. Great train watching and SPECTACULAR sunsets! Even better in winter, watching the ice move with the tide.

Nice walking place, tho some people are awesome and can jog it . Climbed most of the way to the top but, with limited time and energy, chose to sit near the top and just take in the views -- out across Anchorage all the way to the seas arm and beyond to the west -- nice nearer mountains in the other directions!

Great place to watch the sunset! I recommend picking up something to eat @ International House of Hotdogs just up the hill, getting your food to-go, and walk down the hill for a meal with a scenic view at one of the picnic tables. One of my favorite downtown spots :)

This small park is designed more for families with kids but it has access point to a longer trail along the Knik Arm...nothing extraordinary other than that. Theres a fee station for parking at $1.25 per hour, 24/7. No thanks. Id rather go elsewhere.

With all the parks in the Anchorage area this one is lacking. The only thing I liked about this park was it is right by the coast.

Great view! We went on April 15. The road is soaked with a mixture of snow and water. Beware of dog poop, people dont often pick after their dogs here. But Im pretty sure over the summer its well maintained.

If youre downtown then stop by the Elderberry Park for a picnic.Parking is very limited and can be dangerous. Reverse slowly and look for traffic multiple times because the vehicles fly down the hill and come around the corner before you know it.There are portable toilets here and one is wheelchair accessible. There is also a small amount of playground equipment for the kids. Not enough benches, so bring a blanket to sit on the grass as a backup. This park is very popular, so prepare yourself to see just about anything here. Elderberry Park connects to the Coastal Trail, so you can avoid the roads when traveling to and from here.

Its an ok park at most. Its kept relatively clean, the main problem is finding parking. Theres maybe six parking spots meant for the park. It is a good starting point of you feel like running the Coastal Trail.
