Parking is free. The Anchorage Golf Course is very convenient for those who live on the south-side of Anchorage. I enjoy the driving range as it feels like I have space and a nice walk down to it. The road throughout the greens needs some attention in spots, but otherwise a roller-coaster if youre heavy on the pedal. The snack/drink cart isnt too bad on prices, so it might be worth bringing some cash. Overall I think beginners will enjoy the course and after 18 holes you should have all your frustrations gone.If this review was helpful please click the Like button.

Staff was great. Prices for 9 holes for a Sr. Resident were a little steep.

I just called and made a tee time in less then 60 seconds, I timed it! The gentleman I talked too was extremely nice and gave me quick precise information and we were done! Yes it’s golf in Ak but still, customer service is your first interface with potential clients, I’m going there right now thinking it’s a 5 star resort with how that guy treated me on the phone!

A good course that have beautiful vistas of Flattop mountain. A variety of tee boxes can make this a challenge or a good for beginners. The greens are amazing and will test any golfers short game skills. Oh ya, and keep an eye out for bears.

Very scenic golf course that can be challenging to play, depending on what your strengths and weaknesses are. Narrow, tree-lined fairways, crisp bunkers, and sometimes blind shots to the green, depending on where youre hitting from. This is an upper-scale course with an exceptional pro shop and dining area. If you are visiting Anchorage and are looking for a course to play...this is the one.

Not bad shape for this early in the year. They cut back a lot of brush. Only lost 3 balls which is a personal best

This course is always in amazing condition and is far better than the other courses in the state. As a plus, the youth rates are really quite appealing. It is only $10 for 17 and under to play. That is what keeps me coming back multiple times a week.

Anchorage Golf Course, rated 3-1/2 stars, located in Alaskas Anchorage Bowl, provides golfers with a 6,600 yard test on a Bill Newcomb sculpted layout. Wonderfully scenic natural views of the Chugach Mountain Range, the city skyline and Cook Inlet abound from this public 18-hole course. Course description, images and other details to follow soon.

This is very easily the best golf course in Anchorage and probably Alaska . . . by a huge margin. This has comparable views to settlers bay but is a WAY better golf course (layout, conditions, design, etc.) than Settlers. Seriously way better. It definetly a more enjoyable play over either of the military courses as those two courses are awful. The course is always in the best condition relative to any other courses in AK. Its a fun course that can play long enough with some unique holes. Not too narrow and certainly not wide open. Great elevation changes, with only a couple blind tee shots (those are always a drawback on any course).Theres not a lot of options for golf in the last frontier but if you havent played here or want to play the best this one is it.

Course looked beautiful, but management is power hungry, rigid, and disappointing. We traveled for hours with a tee time reserved so that my dad, brother and I could spend time together on what would literally be a once in a lifetime golf experience. When we got there we were told we couldnt golf as a threesome, but that we would need to have another single golfer come with us the entire time. Despite asking the manager kindly to let us go together, since we had reserved our tee time more than 10 hours before, we were forced to golf with someone who had just shown up to play 15 minutes earlier. The manager was rude, abrupt, and completely inflexible, and simply shewed us away to the cashier to pay our green fees. No apology, no trying to understand or even offer other solutions. Very poor treatment of the customer, so we left to go to another golf course.I wish I could have given them a 0 Star review, but 1star was the only option.
