FAKE, FRAUD and LIAROn August 30, I have purchased an expensive diamond Cartier bracket from the store. When I asked for the Cartier certification and box, owner Walter said it would be FedEx to me in a week after the initial purchase. One month passed by, I called and he stated someone went to ER and it will ship in a week. Two months passed by, I called again and he apologized again and stated it will ship in a week. Three months later when I spoke to him now, he said he does not have the Cartier certificate but only the box. The worst part is the Cartier bracket is FAKE!!! I took it to the official store, picture attached. Right hand side is what purchased from the antique gallery anchorage and left side is the real one. There are a lot of branded jewelry in the store and consumer should watch out!!!

The most unique and amazing part of Downtown Anchorage. The rest of Anchorage is sad and depressing. Walter and Stephen make the City a better place to live.

Love stopping in here and talking with Walter. Go by every time Im in Anchorage. Great place with some really neat items. Always a good selection of estate jewelry at very reasonable prices.

A nice little galley of antiques and art, a bit pricey though in comparison to other antiques galleries. Small area but packed with items to look at.

I went in here to kill some time before heading off to the airport as it was across the street from the hotel where I was staying. I was surprised to find they had a very nice collection of estate jewelry. They were very helpful and courteous. I didnt pull the trigger initially but reached back out from home and service was excellent as they next day shipped an item for no additional cost. I would highly recommend stopping here and checking out the store.

An amazing assortment of Alaska antiquities

Great find and beautiful price. We go to this place to shop for jewelry every time we visit Anchorage. The shop have very good prices and you can do some bargaining.

They have an amazing selection in this store , Beautiful pieces , but over priced , this store can have everything sell out quickly if it was a bigger store and items are displayed nicely , they actually have things on the floor , which makes me think why would i pay that much for something sitting on the floor .

The Antique Gallery is a gem! If you are interested in historical peices from tea sets to paintings, carved ivory to antique firearms there is a treasure trove awaiting you! There is special emphasis on black powder and large bore Cased English Double Rifles. Another is a good selection of 1st generation Colt Single Action pistols. Its better than many museums I have seen, and the items are available for purchase. The staff in the store are very welcoming and leave you to browse yet are ready to answer questions. Highly recommended!

The store has an overwhelming number of fantastic items. I got complete sensory overload each time we walked back into the store .... I could spend hours there and not get bored! My wife and I have done a fair amount of business with them. They are so incredible and such a pleasure to deal with. Walter is a gem, as is the rest of the staff there. My wife has become very friendly with everyone there. There’s a wonderful gal there (I’m embarrassed that her name is escaping me as I write this) that emails and calls us periodically with items she knows are of interest to us. The estate jewelry pieces we’ve bought from them are simply amazing!!! We bought a couple of Harry Winston diamond and ruby pieces that are out of this world. You owe it to yourself to check this place out. We live in Texas, yet a trip to Anchorage just to visit the store is worth it. I can’t say enough .. we are raving fans. Can’t wait to go back. In the meantime, we’ll keep shopping long distance! Thank you, thank you ... you guys are simply terrific!

Unbelievable selection of items, fun to visit and look around

So many interesting things to see! You really have to take your time here, so you dont miss anything!

I came in here because I was looking for props for Perseverance Theatre. Were based in Juneau, but do a full season in Anchorage so were ALWAYS looking for props or set pieces for our productions.I was browsing and felt the gaze of someone staring at me. I looked toward the rude person and he said, aggressively, CAN WE HELP YOU. I said I was looking for end tables and he didnt respond. So I kept wandering and browsing and from that point on he followed me around, never more than 5 feet away from me.I dont appreciate being treated like a criminal in an antique store which only really sells guns and pretends that theres CONSTANTLY an ESTATE SALE TODAY!Unscrupulous and paranoid.... and never receiving this theaters money again. We could be a substantial source of revenue for a dive like this... but Ill never set foot in it again and as the Technical Director Ill be sure that no one in our props or scenic department ever do again, either.

Stopped in the store as a tourist just looking around and found a replacement wedding ring. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING!! I love this place just wish I lived in Alaska to purchase more fabulous items.

Theres a lot to see here. Be very careful, much of it is just waiting to trip you or fall down and cost you a serious pretty penny. Lots of genuine artifacts and other cool stuff. We were watched very, very closely but I understand it. There is a huge potential for loss here where by theft, accidental damage etc. The art and sculpture choices were fantastic!

The owner is nasty and provides poor customer service and will not price his items. Instead he solicited an offer, even when I repeatedly asked for the owner to price his items like any other professional. When the offer was not to his liking, the owner adopted a hostile tone and said he would not do business with me. I was in the awkward position of making an offer I did not want to make and then receiving criticism for it as the owner has an inflated notion of the value of his items, considering himself to be a high end retailer rather than an antiques store in Alaska.

Great antique shop, definite not a vintage store but real antiques from many centuries. The items in the store rotate extremely fast and are always different.

Lots of great antiques in this place however seems to be pretty high prices.

Staff (Matthew-Walter) is very knowledgeable on eveything in the shop, once you see it youll understand. Been there a few times now and have to hold back so i can pay bills. Tons and tons of museum type items, I want it all.

More of an overpriced pawn antique shop than a gallery, there doesnt seem to be much interesting antiques asked from the fossils, but there are other places to get them in better quality than here.

What a fantastic place ! but sadly unless youre in a suit and tie , you will be made to feel unwelcome. ( just my personal opinion after several visits) Updated 4/26/20 .....KARMA .....gets you every time

I went into the Antique Gallery for the second time to take a look at what they had, I was greeted by a nice guy, who was curious if I had any questions.After that an older man made an awkward comment about my sweater, while I continued to look around, I overheard him talking on the phone about what I assume was a theft of some sort. He then started to take pictures of me with his iPad as if I was going to steal something, which made me very uncomfortable.As I moved throughout the store I was shadowed by an employee, I really didnt mind that, as I can understand they recently had some item stolen apparentlAs I made my way back to the front I noticed they shut and locked the door, and that made me very annoyed that they would assume I am a thief.As I was looking at some some old coins, the older man made another comment are you wIting for someone? When I replied no I am just looking, he told me he had one person watching Me and to leave.This whole experience was very disappointing for me, I am really offended by the way they presented there intentions and how rude the older man was.On the other hand, great store they have a lot of awesome antiques.
