Duanes Antique Market has one of the best selections of antique furniture in Alaska. There are two buildings, three floors, and two covered outdoor areas full of antique furniture. Youll find rare items inside, mostly items that you wont find in most antique stores. While Im impressed by the selection of items packed into these buildings Im just as amazed by some of the high prices. If youre a collector youll pay top dollar here, but I doubt youll find these rare items very easily - so maybe the price is worth it? Parking is limited and youll need at least a couple hours to see everything. Duane is a great guy to do business with, and there are always so many wonderful treasures in his shop. He finds so many beautiful, unique antiques.

We were impressed by the variety of ivory carvings and scrimshaw artwork from both Alaska Natives and non-natives. Also there were antique furniture and other historical items that one could use for anyone or business. Definitely worth a trip to review the current inventory.

I absolutely love this place! Neat place to find what I was looking for. As soon as I got in the door I was greeted by Andreas, what a awesome guy I asked him what I was looking for and he pointed me to them and also showed me around the store. From being from Kansas this is definitely my kinda store and customer service! Will definitely return!

Love this place! I am always looking here for furniture that matches my dresser. So much to look at! Go have a look if you havent and you like Antiques. The staff is always a delight and you can get a story or two if you ask questions.

I have been collecting ivory and unique Alaska gifts for years. This is the only place I have consistently found what I needed. Update, I just scored a gun cane!!! Wonder if TSA will allow it on the plane!

I stumbled across this store by chance. I walked around for about about 20 min before the store closed and i only got to see the first floor inside. So many things to look at.

The prices are a joke. Maybe they could get away with these ridiculous prices if people didnt have mobile phones or ebay apps to immediately see that NOBODY in the world is paying these ludicrous prices. Ignorant staff who just makes stuff up. Funny because i knew far more about their items than anyone working there. Ill never be back. Save your money. Order everything online and save a bundle!
