Nice little park to take the kids to. Make sure to make them use the restroom before you leave the house though as this park doesnt have one, or a drinking fountain. It used to but I am guessing it was pulled out because the homeless were starting to congregate at the park from sunup to sundown. If its between having my kids play in a park that has a restroom but is full of homeless people or a park not full of homeless people with no restrooms Ill give up the restroom anytime. The playgrounds are good and keep clean and there is a large grass area. Only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is the lack of restrooms and drinking fountain.

Peter Marshall Park is a small neighborhood park in the western part of Anaheim. It used to be a great place to bring your kids for them to play on the monkey bars and swings. But it is no longer a safe environment for you or your kids because of the homeless population that hang out there.

This is a small neighborhood park in Anaheim. It is no longer a good environment to take your children there. At the risk of sounding politically incorrect it has become a hangout for the homeless.

Brought my child to play on the little kids area and there were homeless people sleeping IN the playground. I normally dont have a problem with the homeless in Anaheim parks. If they want to live on the street and sleep on the ground, thats their business. But I do have an issue with anyone who is so selfish, they impede little kids from enjoying an area designated specifically for kids to play.

The park is not safe. Bad situations with homeless...and dangerous threats made.

This park is backed up to the elementary school and there are a bunch of homeless people that sleep there and hang out t there all the time. There used to be bathrooms here but they tore them down because the homeless people would do various drugs and other acts behind the walls. Recently the school expanded into a large section of the park so the baseball field is no longer there. The playground is a good one for smaller kids under 10 but there are wood chips on the ground and thats my least favorite playground covering. Honestly this should be a 1 star review, I think I gave it an extra star for the memory of what the park once was.

Ugh. My kid loves the playground equipment and we dont usually have any issue with any of the homeless that hang out at ALL of the parks in West Anaheim. However, tonight was the first time I actually felt unsafe. There were about 30 individuals there, smoking cigarettes (gross), and mostly minding their own business until another individual that drove to the park approached one of the groups. He was very hostile towards a woman and was cussing up a storm in front of my preschooler. We left after being there for less than 5 minutes.I do not recommend this park after 4 pm. It just doesnt feel anymore.

Its a nice park, play ground is in the shade of talk trees. However there tends to be a lot of homeless people hanging out at the park, though they are not threatening nor do they bother anyone. The play ground has wood chips and 2 different play sets and swings. Public restrooms, kinda dirty but available during the day. Open field on the west side of park. Plenty of street parking.Over all, Well kept park.

This is a homeless encampment and not a park for children. We just moved into the area i and thought my girls would love this park. Our first time there i was surprised by the homeless people camped around the edges. I didnt think it would be a problem so we went straight to the playground. Just outside the play area there were two men passed out face down in the grass as if they were walking and fell down mid walk and just stayed there. While my older daughter climbed the equipment; my younger daughter and i looked for a place she could play without listening to the homeless people that were having an argument and yelling cuss words. The playground is filled with mulch but quickly i noticed that it is also filled with cigarette butts. It looks as if there are almost as many cigarette butts as there is mulch. I was talking to my older daughter when my one year old daughter started to cry. Thats when i noticed that she put a cigarette butt in her mouth. That was it, we had to leave. This is a homeless encampment not a park for children. Each day as i drive by i see the homeless and police activity. It is not safe for children here.

I take my kids to the park 4-5 times a week. The city took the restrooms Also there are no picnic benches or BBQ pits. They removed all of this supposedly to keep the homeless out but now that the restrooms are gone, there are twice as many homeless. Very bad decision by the city
