This is a great concert venue! It feels like yesterday when I first came here, 2018 to be exact, things got amped up after waiting in the long line and spontaneously purchasing VIP seats. We entered an elevator that took us to a really nice bar lounge with a live performance(pre game) and the place also has a smoke patio which we were all happy about (️). The bar distance to our seats was favorable lol we had a good time! Definitely can’t wait to comeback again some day, covid-19 please go away! Stay safe friends

My love and I went to see Social Club Misfits at the House of Blues. It was wonderful! The venue was nice and seemed pretty clean. The staff was friendly and informative. We barely waited in line and then were given complimentary tickets to a show for a couple weeks from now, after the show. We enjoyed the show SO much and the venue was really beautiful. Not to mention walking around after the show in the Garden Walk and seeing all the art and deco. I would LOVE to go see another show there!!

LOVE the House Of Blues! Great venue, standing room only to to where you feel like a sardine sometimes. But you can plan on experiencing some excellent live music! And all of the other people joining you have the same good energy for a FABULOUS night! They have a wine bar, they have lots of regular bars (3-4), they have an upstairs balcony, & they have VIP sections with chairs and tables, otherwise it is a standing-room-only kind of joint. Wear comfortable shoes & be prepared to have a lot of fun!

This was the first time I sent to the Anaheim HOB since they relocated to the Anaheim Garden Walk. The venue is very nice with an open restaurant that has a small stage. When we went for dinner there was a local artist playing acoustic covers. The food was better than it ought to have been, do that was a very nice surprise. The waiter was very nice and talkative which might annoy some people. We were there to attend a show in the parish room which is small and intimate. And if love to see another small group there; maybe even get to play there myself someday.

Not exactly the first place to come to mind for a meal, but we stopped in for a quick bite before a movie. It was around noon on a Sunday. It wasn’t very busy, so we sat at the bar and ordered. Drinks were decent. We ordered the brisket nachos and the yard bird sandwich. Both were really tasty but took a really long time to be brought out from the kitchen. The nachos were heaped with cheesy goodness and the meat was tender and well-seasoned. We were expecting the meat to be shredded, but it was cubed. There was a queso and melted cheese that combined into a creamy goodness. The guacamole on top seemed a little like an afterthought, so it would have been nice to have a little more. The sandwich was also unexpectedly better than we imagined. The freshly battered and fried chicken was tender and juicy and the coleslaw was a nice topping to offset the warm temperature of the chicken. The fries were just okay, but that just meant we ate fewer of them. So, unless you’re in a hurry, you’re in for a treat with these dishes!

I gave it a 5 star because we went for the Chase Rice concert on 10-26-19 and the food was delicious. Service was a little slow, we opted to spend $35 per person on food to get a skip the line pass (Very helpful) and would do it again). The voodoo shrimps were freaking awesome, also ordered the Fried chicken sandwich. Very very good, the breading was bomb and the chicken was moist. The only issue is that they crowd so many people into the concert venue, very uncomfortable if you are a person that likes there own space. Chase Rice was Freaking great. I have included a photo of the menu in my post, I couldnt find prices before we went.

Hands down one of the best venues Ive been to in California in a long time!!! Im pregnant and came to a metal show and upon walking up to only ask a question about eating at the restaurant and getting into the concert with no issues they realized I had a large issue so to speak and offered us the ADA area so I could sit and be safe while watching the band. I didnt ask nor was expecting this but it made a huge impression and made me very thankful and appreciative that their staff went the extra mile to make sure a guest coming into their venue was safe no matter the issue. Sitting in the ADA/VIP area was amazing and they had a server the whole night checking in on everyone there making sure we all had drinks and food throughout!! At the end they even scored more points in trying to help my husband and I find his wedding ring he lost while trying to go into the mosh pit!!! This venue and their staff I believe are one in a million!!!

After attending the World Famous Drag Brunch a few months ago, I knew that the Gospel Brunch would be a great way to spend a Sunday. They use the music venue for a wonderful concert experience. The brunch buffet is amazing! My favorite is the hand-carve brisket so, this time, I made sure to get a bunch before they ran out. Other brunch favorites include: scrambled eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, waffles, pastries, and potatoes. But the House of Blues also puts some South in your mouth with southern favorites like jambalaya and smoked chicken.Different artists perform each Sunday. We were lucky enough to see Divine Connection performing uplifting music from traditional and contemporary gospel music favorites. They really know how to let your soul soar with amazing harmonization.

My wife and I came to see Billy Currington and had a terrific time. We parked in the underground lot beneath the mall. Extremely easy to get in and a close walk via elevator to the venue. Its $3 and hour, however, if you bring your parking ticket in with you they have a couple of stations that allow you to validate your ticket for 2 free hours. The venue itself is small and intimate making for a great concert experience. There is a large sunken wood floor thats standing room only. Surrounding that is plenty of area for standing room and 2 bars, one on each side. These 2 bars are your go to because everyone thinks the entry bar is the only one and the line is ridiculous. You can order a few different appetizers from the bar if your hungry. I ordered chicken strips and garlic fries which were pretty good. You can purchase an upgrade to the balcony once your in but not sure its worth it because your already close to the stage. The balcony does have seats so that might be an option. There was a long line when we arrived outside the venue but once they start doing security checks the line goes fast. I highly recommend catching a concert here.

This was a great place for our conference. We had over 1000 people for three days. Staff was courteous and friendly. Seating was good except down stairs in the far back. Over all fun place to kick it back with friends.

Great, except seating is vip or handicapped only and a friend fainted in the pit the the guard tried arguing with her when she was sent there by other security. And a few other friends fainted to and he tried to not let us sit their even tho there were 20+ seats open. The bar has free water cups but bottled water was expensive as expected. Security was fast if you know what will go off. They do separate it by male- female, I think it’s the same as TSA tho. Honestly almost everyone there is great but that guy who was “guarding” the vip needs to chillax... I get it’s vip/handicapped and you didn’t see her faint but you don’t need to fight her and my friends on it. You can also order food and such... this was the downstairs vip section and I haven’t been to the upstairs one, and I think the downstairs one should be free just no seat hogging, like leaving stuff there to go to the pit. I honestly avoid this venue if there are shows also in LA or San Diego, only because of that security? Guard. I’ve had issues with the same one before for not letting me sit there when we went to a concert last second after Vid con. Honestly, rest of security is great and are awesome at catching crowd surfers and helping people out of pit quick and safely. If the guy took a chill pill I would give this place 5 stars.

If you are thinking about going to see a concert or whatever at the Anaheim House of Blues, do it, you wont be disappointed. They also have several bars located through out the concert hall for you to purchase drinks and appetizers, but skip the line because they have servers that come to your seats throughout the show. We went to a concert that was all standing room only. The venue has an elevated section surrounding the main floor. Im very short, but could see clearly where we were on the elevated section, which was still fairly close to the stage. We got there early (about 10 minutes after doors opened) and got a really good spot to stand, but the ledge (for drinks, etc.) was already full. Loved the vibe and the music. Ordered one of their fancy drinks, but was very disappointed because they didn’t have a lot of the ingredients listed on the menu, so it was a lot more basic than promised (apparently at that point in the night, they had run out). The pasta with chicken had a handful of tiny pieces of chicken which were hardly noticeable, so it was basically just a $17 plate of vaguely flavored noodles. The bread pudding dessert with ice cream, however, was amazing. Certainly worth returning for.

This is one of the best medium-sized venues in the area in my opinion. As far as the convenience of the location, I drive in from inland so whether a show is in LA, Anaheim or Santa Ana it really makes no difference to me. The venue is well kept and the sound and stage are fairly optimal. They lose a star for their practice of offering a special early-entry line for people who spend enough money ($30/each I think) at the restaurant or gift shop before the show. Personally, I think all ticket-holders should have equal opportunity at a GA show, but Im an egalitarian and am terrible at capitalism. Still, even with cutsies for the rich folk, its easy enough to secure a good spot to watch the band. Also, dont forget to get your parking validated!

When we got there the guy giving out arm bands told us how we can get an additional 2 hours parking free. Once inside everyone was friendly. Be sure to position yourself more to the interior. The areas near the bars have large pillers that support the mezzanine that can block the view of the stage. Arrived at the Foundation Room at The House of Blues. Every staff member I came across was attentive, friendly and accommodating. The place was packed and very busy, but to my surprise the bartender sprung into action to provide my elderly mother in law a seat upon request. The manager even checked on us shortly thereafter. Very kind. The only reason Im giving 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the sound engineer for the live bands. She was inattentive, lackadaisical and indifferent. Glaring sound issues that myself and most attendees spotted right away were dismissed when I tried bringing them up. At one point I even walked up beside the board to see if she was hearing what I was hearing ... maybe she was aware and working feverishly to address the issues. No, she was reading a book. Most venues would kill to have the resources and gear available to them that the House of Blues has... well, HoB has the goods, but the person running it couldnt care less.

Awful service. First time here for a concert. Ordered food. The bartender made a mistake and gave my food to someone else. Just said “it is not my fault, you have to wait”. After asking 3 times for my food I asked for an explanation, hoping for some customer service. After 46 minutes, grilled cheese and fries should arrive. No explanation, just not “my fault.” The female bartender (with fake flowers on her head and slow as a tortoise) and her managers ( one step higher than her) lack customer service skills. Her response “ do you want a glass of wine?” Missing the point of customer service and assuming that a free drink would make me feel better. Basically, assumptions grounded in ignorance. I have never seen such a deviation from service. I really thought that this place would have better people working and trained in good service. This is a venue which should care about customers, especially first timers.

Excellent restaurant and music venue. The restaurant is great, the food is very tasty and the music performers are not loud at all, even if you are in front of them literally about 3 feet from them you dont have to yell to communicate. The concert venue is awesome as well and the parking is great too.

Worse experience ever...felt like I was in Las Vegas with all the upscale and snotty vibe...unlike an original HOB. Artwork on the walls were contemporary and wanna-be art. Unlike the old bayou restaurant feeling from a REAL House of Blues. Id give it a 0 star.

The parking structure makes getting to the venue very easy, especially when you park on the 4th level. The venue itself is amazing, the staff is really helpful and nice. Security for the event was pretty extensive but they worked really quickly so it was ok
