Not played on it recently . Previously enjoyed it. Now its even nicer...

This park is amazing! There are so many areas to explore and the toys are so imaginative! Pirate ship with an octopus climbing up it, anacortes ferry carrying a car, a dragon climbing wall, a mountain range stairway with the river as the stairs, tire swings, spray park, slides, a toddler town and the list goes on and on. We always love to visit when were in town.

Closed for the pandemic. Looks to be a great resource once available. Nice park surrounding it, with open and trade areas, restroom nearby. Kiddie area has a fence around it, so smaller children cant wander far without coming through the entrance.

I went there as a child. The wood would get super hot in the summer sometimes. The playground had lots of choices to start an adenture though. My favorite part was the tire swing and the tiny house with painted flowers! John Storvik Playground was huge as well! For kids of all ages.

Adorable playground. Kids 8 and 6 loved it. Perfect place to play before the ferry.

Great park with a good variety of things for kids to play on. The bathroom was very clean

A really nice city park. Unfortunately kids areas closed for now but park open for fresh air and exercise.

The only downside for me was that my son, at 2, is a little too small to just let run and its very hard to keep an eye on them in the awesome play structure because its got so much to it! The park has an awesome new water play area as well as the expansive play structure with lots of shady covered parts, and large expanses of grass and paved path ways for free play and wheeled toys.

Love it. There were restrooms, tables to pick Nick, spry Park, good parking lot. Kids are easy to see from distance. And one interesting thing was, was finance by the community and you can see their names. I think the local families dont want to come in contact with Tourist, and you can see it on their kids behavior. But the structure of this place offer to any kids fun, motor skills and even theatrical spot.

We visited from out of state and went to this place 4 times in one week! Outstanding! Water/splash/fountain play area, too!

Great little park. Place to walk the dog. Kids can play on neat pirate ship and a spray park. Shadey areas and picnic tables. Lots to love.

For school-aged kids, this is a Wonderful park with a huge, gorgeous ship for kids to run through and a splash pad as well. The partial-wall boundary made it impossible to see my 3 year old playing with his brothers, and the many exits meant I needed to track him constantly. I also observed the grass being fertilized, but no signs were posted! My group had crawlers and we were shocked that we werent told to keep babies off the grass field.

Very nice and well maintained playground! It also has a section for toddlers that is separated from the larger playground.

Seriously the best park I have ever been too. My daughter loves playing here!

My 5 year old had been asking to go to this playground ( again) for a few weeks so we trekked over one rainy Saturday from Mt. Vernon (30 or so minute drive- well worth it). We ate a picnic lunch together in one of the towers before a game of pirates versus squid. The 8 year old begrudgingly enjoyed himself as well.

We love going to Storvik Park. Such a great environment for families and kids and the community. We are so glad the city built new restrooms and cant wait for the splash park to open. Love to watch seniors walk their dogs while enjoying a little sunshine

This was a great spot to go with kids. There is a splashpad and a great, large play area with pirate ship and ferry. Bug open grassy area and picnic tables too. We will stop again!

Wonderful family place. Cool shade and warm sunny areas, and the big toy climbing structure is bigger than most and customized to fit Anacortes

Granddaughter enjoyed part of her 5th birthday celebration playing on the variety of equipment at this playground. It has so much more to offer than the usual swings you find at playgrounds.

The gf and i decided to take her lil bear dog for a walk around.the park. It was surprisingly quiet and peaceful|! (this time only, usually the park is an unattended loud child zoo)

Such a beautiful park for the entire family. Play structures for the young ones and a grassy area for a spontaneous softball game for the 9 and aboves.

This park was so full of unexpected surprises! From castle towers to pirate ships and swings and draw bridges in between. There is also an amazing water park with fountains and sprinklers that the kids can control. We had a picnic on one of the many picnic tables but there is also a shelter. Bathrooms and water fountains are also furnished. Absolutely great place!!!

It was very good, had restrooms, good parking lot, green area, safe for children.

Can be over busy, sometimes with unsupervised misbehaving kids. Park system does do some repair work as needed, but some things go unrepaired for a bit, or indefinitely. Other than those issues, it has a great, large, complicated play structure, a toddler area, and a new spray pad.

It is a very fun park for all ages but the bathrooms are discustsing, sometime there is poop on the floor and their is often pee near the drain in the center of the bathrooms.

Everything works, its clean, and the clientele seems happy and harmless. A good place for a toddler on a grey day.

It is on the smaller side for being a splash park but its great for young children!

Peaceful and relaxing place to either take a walk or just sit in the car and enjoy the scenery. There are benches too if you want to sit outside, or pull up a chunk of lawn to sit on if its a dry day and really relax. I volunteered during the build week years ago and am proud of the work we all did on rebuilding it. I worked on the boat

Great place for kids to play and birthday parties to be had. There is some construction right now for the new splash pad coming in. This also means that the bathrooms are gone and replaced by a honey bucket. I am still giving 5 stars for a great playground, large covered area for parties and loads of space to run and play.

I love taking my grand babies to this park all year long, I even walk/push the stroller around the track/sidewalk they have.The water features they have for the kids in the summer is real nice as well for all ages, even to get the little ones introduced to water features.The play ground is friendly again for all ages from the climbing wall, all types of swings, play houses, slides, hiding places, bars to swing on, slide down or climb up, they have it, enclosed slides and open slides small one tells slides.The play ground is nicely enclosed to help keep eyes on multiple aged or multiple children.Get place for pick-nice close to town for a good surprise for the littles to get that extra energy out before a long drive or right before nap.Love this Park today we spent 1.5 hours here my grand babies are 2 & 5 they have a great time every time.

Great park with a baseball diamond and a jungle gym that is unbelievable! Swings, slides, mini rock wall, climbing rope, sandbox, benches, tables, a water feature to spray the kids on hot days... This place has it All!!!!! Our granddaughter made new friends and had a blast.

Favorite playground in the area by far

The splash park is perfect for cool San Juan summers. The walking path is smooth and stroller friendly. The grass is soft and the restrooms are clean. The playground is really cute.

Storvik is a great place to hang out with your kids: a solid playground, 2 basketball courts, a baseball field, a gazebo (possible reservations), and as of 2017 a great water playing area and new restrooms.
