Wonderful family get-a-way. A Montana Treasure.Off season options for great packages and rates. Outside hot pools and slide during cold winter is one of the most unique experiences available. A Montana treat!Resort dining gives lots of options: poolside menu is inexpensive. Cafe is great mid-price spectrum. Fine-dining is top shelf. Also option for suites-- some available with full kitchens and nicely appointed to accommodate a larger family.
What a delightful place. Whole family came and we had the time of our lives. 75 stairs to the slide and it was absolutely thrilling. The water was perfectly warm and the variations of depth were great. The park at the other end was a nice way to spend time as we packed up to leave. We will definitely visit again.
Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is a great place to have a great time. Located in a valley surrounded by mountains, this resort has it all. 18-hole golf course, a mini-golf course, an RV park, cabins for rent, and located close to good fishing and hunting. The Discovery Ski Basin is about a half-hour away, near Georgetown Lake. The picturesque historic town of Anaconda, MT is minutes away, and the historic mining city of Butte, MT is about 25-minutes away. Getting to the resort: The rooms are emaculate and the service superb. The restaurants/bar have many dishes/drinks to offer, and the restaurant/bar staffing are professional and very pleasant. The gift shop is a nice place to get pool toys, snacks, and a myriad of other items to purcase. There is a rather long water slide to enjoy, as well as indoor and outdoor pools and hot soaking pools. Whether you prefer indoor swimming or choose the outside pools, both offer a nice concession stand. The pool staff, as with the other aforementioned staffing, was very professional and very pleasant. I highly recommend Fairmont Hot Springs Resort!
Always a fantastic, relaxing resort with friendly, welcoming customer service! We love this place for our family and for a couples retreat. No need to leave once you get there because they have it all! Great food, drinks, snacks, pizza, snow cones, and a bar! Two swimming pools one in one out, and 2 hot pools. Make sure to check out anaconda if you do leave and stop by hofbraus for pizza or burgers.
This place is awesome. There are two great restaurants with great food from both (cafe and fine dining) The walls are thin, but we’ll worth it with the hot springs and fun water slide. Can definitely see my self returning.
It was an awesome experience they where veryProfessional and was doing all they could to keep me and my family safe during this pandemicWe definitely will be going back soon
Great hot springs with indoor and outdoor pools. Loved the food: burgers, chicken wings and cooked to order omelette breakfast. Spacious, comfortable, clean rooms with mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Glad we planned our route to include a stay there!
Wonderful full Montana experience. 4 pools filled continuously by hot springs water. Mineral rich and so soothing. 2 outdoor pools, one warm, one hot. 2 indoor pools. One hot tub style was not open when we went. No clue why. Indoor large pool was very nice. Multiple depths for all swimmers. The multi story slide was very cool. Push through faster to go quick, or let it slowly push you through. I have a bad back, and as much as I love water slides, most of them tear me up. This one, did not. Loved it. Lots of stairs to climb though! We were pushed inside when a lightening storm hit, but it was still nice for all of us.
Fairmont has good food in both restaurants. The shrimp wrapped bacon appetizer and the chicken Mediterranean entree are both really flavorful. The salmon is a good portion but not seasoned as well as I would have liked. The pool is packed most hours especially with the new covid hours. The staff is friendly and timely.
Really enjoy staying here, and consider it a Montana treasure. Pools are huge, warm, and great. We have a blast on the slide. The surroundings are serene and beautiful. We often play mini golf, which is fun, even if the course is a little run down. They have a basketball and tennis courts. They have a playground for the kids, and a small folf course. There is an area with ducks, goats, sheep, and a llama you can feed.
We stayed at the RV park, which was amazing. The resort itself was a little poorly managed as it seemed the employees werent on the same page as the management. Before COVID they offered a military discount, which they longer provide. Dinner at the Edge Waters restaurant was very good. Well definitely return again but are hoping theyre a little bit more organized at the resort.
Great rooms. Comfy beds. TV with a lot of shows once you figure out how to use it. Pool and Hot Tub were warm and very nice. Inside pool was also very warm and nice. Both opened early. water slide was very enjoyable and was especially cool at night. Mini Golf was another fun thing we did. Regular Gold is also available. And although we didnt use room service it, offered great menus! Beautiful outdoor area too!
We ended up here for a few days when we couldnt get a room in Anaconda. The hotel was nice, the rooms were very clean, though a little dated. We had a great view with a little patio that walked right out to a large grassy area and a playground near by, which was awesome. One small bummer was the sliding screen kept popping off the tracks and masquitos were out, it also didnt lock, so we couldnt sleep with it open to catch the breeze and fresh air. The kids loved the pool! Right now they are only allowing overnight guests in the pools so they were not crowded at all, which was nice. I loved the outdoor bar, though pricey, $30 for 2 drinks. We had breakfast at the cafe a couple of times, it was alright. Based on that we didnt try dinner. All in all we enjoyed our stay! The kids are already talking about going back!
I can not say enough great things about our experience here. The family fun pack is a terrific deal. The staff us incredibly helpful. This is a super family friendly place with tons of things to do between swimming, the water slide, mini golf, and playground. There is a spa for adults and both casual and fine dining. If you get a suite, the kitchen is very well equipped. No need to bring anything. They also have washers and dryers on each floor to help those on road trips! If you are traveling in Montana, i highly recommend making a stop here.
Such a beautiful relaxing getaway. The pools are kept clean and stocked with towels. The slide was a blast and the outdoor pool bar was a nice way to end the night. Family friendly with many additional amenities.
Great pools, although they use carpet around the pool area which is a little gross. Pool was warm. Rooms are tired and need a update. Staff was friendly, but not overly accommodating. The slide is super fun and the stairway up to the slide wreaked off decomposition. I will not stay there again. I will swim there again.
Room was dirty and too hot! Shower had no adjustment and sprayed hard. The air-conditioning doesnt work properly due to needing to be upgraded to cool the entire building. The rooms definitely need to be remodeled as they look the same as they did years ago. The restaurant was overpriced for the quality of food was not worth the over $100 dollar bill! Service was great and the pools were great.
Love the indoor and outdoor spring fed pools. We used the fitness room while it was below freezing. Our unit was clean and comfortable.
I love love loved this place! Pool was awesome, hot pools and poolside snacks and drinks. The drinks cost way too much and thats how they get you. So much fun for parents and kids alike, friendly people, even with the distancing precautions in place.
Such a great relaxing experience. The water slide was fun and we spent hours in the heated pool.
New additions to exterior with fresh wood staining, parking lot cleaned and spaces newly painted. Friendly helpful staff. Nice gift shop! Love walking around the goat and llama enclosure. Flowers blooming everywhere and grounds and golf course are well kept. Highly recommend!
Fairmont Hot Springs is a FABULOUS Family friendly resort! 4 huge soaking pools (I only wish they were a little more clean) great food & drinks, clean rooms, kind & accommodating staff. I will DEFINITELY be back!!
Nice clean rooms, pool water. The front desk ladies were unprofessional one complained the whole time how tried she was and told us how she didnt like the kids running around etc. The beds were hard and pillows were very uncomfortable. they have very pricey rooms and charge extra for everything... I mean everything, movie, charge, bottled water, charge, slide at pool, charge, very pricey. I was expecting better beds for the price and the bathroom had no fan so mirror was constantly foggy. The drinks by pool were very pricey and no hint of alcohol even with a double. They used mixed fake stuff for the margaritas.. bummer super gross. The cafe was cheaper but still very pricey.. cant imagine what the fine dining would have been! I expected to get what I paid for and was disappointed that it wasnt special and would have expected better beds,
This place was amazing! I took a much needed vacation and they accommodated my need to social distance and everyone was wearing a mask, it really made me feel like they care.
Pills were great room was great. Dinner wasnt all that great husband ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken(he didnt receive chicken) I ordered coffee with cream and sugar I received 2 sugar packets I asked for more he said yes. Waited on another table then came to wait on us i asked again for more sugar he said yes. I said can I get it before my coffee gets cold? He then went to get it irritated. Really! Breakfast waitress was great!
Restaurant was great for dinner. Rooms could have been cleaner but the pool and water slide make for it! Fun family overnight.
Every time i turn around they come up with a new way to disappoint us. No longer have yummy fruit infused water in the lobby? No, but we will charge $3 for a bottle of water and not provide any free bottles of water in your room. Need to drink water from the faucet? Fine, but the ice machine is out of order and we won’t bring ice or an ice bucket to your room. Restaurant closed down Until further notice the same day you arrive? Too bad, drive to Anaconda for your meals and pay full price for coffee from our restaurant after standing in line for 20 minutes. It was 77 degrees in our room at 8:30 pm and when i called the front desk they said the air conditioning had been shut off starting the day before. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and I am Beyond frustrated with this place.
The room was very nice a little warm even with the air on. The hot springs were amazing and waterslide wristbands were included with our stay. Masks required and super sanitary. There was a total of maybe 10 people in the outside hot springs so we were able to socially distance with no problem. They also make sure to tag your chairs so they know which chairs to sanitize before the next use.
Great place to unwind and recharge. Food was wonderful exceptional service at dinner.
Very nice hot springs. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is they dont dump their water daily and add chlorine. But it is still awsome. A large pool inside and out about 90 degrees and a large hot pool inside and out about 102 degrees. And there is a tall windy slide for an extra charge. Right now the pool access requires either staying at the resort or the RV park right next door. It is 7.75$ for the whole day. RV customers 8am to 10pm.
Amazing time with my grandkids. Very clean. Would do it again and again. Very enjoyable
The pools here are huge and heated by natural hot spring water. There is a also a monster sized hot tub and good sized water-slide. It is a little out of town and the rooms are a tad dated, but the cafe has reasonably priced food for both breakfast and dinner that tasted great!
Great way to relax with the whole family. Great customer service, 18 holes of golf, hot pools with a waterside and dining.
Rooms are a little outdated but with the amount of people here I was impressed by the staff. Two big thumbs up to them. Only reason for 3 stars is the amount for the room was high for what you get.
We’ve stayed here many times and the family loves the pools and slide. The beds weren’t very comfortable - kind of sagged in the middle - and the bedding was old and torn. The rooms aren’t very quiet either and our shower head desperately needed replacing. Otherwise it’s a pretty good place to stay overall.
I really dont want to share this secret but I must , they are terrific
We arrived early for check-in, which was supposed to be at 3. We got checked in around 4 because our room wasnt ready, which is fine because we got to soak while we waited. There were definitely a number of people in the pools, mostly kids, but we had some good space! Our room was not throughly cleaned when we got settled. I had to clean a wine stain off one of the end tables! The walls were thin, our next door neighbors had kids who were slamming the doors and screaming the whole time, which wasnt ideal at 11 p.m. The bathroom didnt have a working fan, and the shower dripped all night long. The pools in the evening were great though! I didnt realize they would be slightly chlorinated?? Which, I guess isnt too unbelievable for a resort. But I definitely expected more of the hot springs experience rather than a swimming pool. They delivered dinner to our room, which was not exactly what wed hoped for. My steak and mashers were great! But the shrimp fettuccine was a bust. Breakfast was okay, definitely lower your expectations. For 2 of us, it took over an hour to get our food. Not impressed over all. Soaking was the only great part of our stay!
Super nice, family friendly with a very accommodating stuff. Everything that makes your visit comfortable and enjoyable.
Found mice in the hallway after we stayed and there was nice feces in the hotel room when we were packing up to leave there was not there the night before.
Poor... one star based on the hotel NOT enforcing the face mask requirements! Our server had her mask around her neck! Ten guests were just sitting in an area between the restaurant and the elevators....no masks! I went to the front desk and she said...” when her night manager comes in and walks around , I am sure she will say something.! This went on all day...no enforcement! Almost 200,000 Americans dead.
The place is way too overpriced for what it is. Furniture, tv, bedding in the room were outdated and old. The room was not not clean, stains on the carpet, dust everywhere. Same was bathroom, the sink was clogged, bathtub didn’t drain properly. It was a busy weekend. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were not friendly. They were out of towels in the hots springs all morning. Be prepared for extra charges!!! water bottle in the room ( $3!!!), the slide in the hot springs is not included in the price. Overall not a good experience.
The larger than Olympic size pool, located outside, is heated to 100° and goes from 3 to 9 deep!!! And is open from 6a.m. to 10p.m. For the thrill seekers there is a 6 covered, water- fed slide/shute, with 4 complete turns, that sends one into the 4 section! of the vast pool. There is also a 102° enclosed hot pool, within a section of the main pool (accommodates up to 20 people with a lot of space between!). There is also an indoor Olympic size pool, starting at 12 deep and goes to 6 deep (perfect for the little ones), as well as a separate hot pool! Outdoors there is a bar that serves great alcohol beverages, and indoors a concession stand with snacks and beverages! The hotel is 5***** and there are condos, and cabins to rent! With 2 dining rooms, one for a quick bite and the other for full dining pleasure anyone will be pleased! All of the staff( including housekeeping) are cordial, and they are practicing social distancing! (In the restaurants as well as entering the pool areas, wearing masks and providing hand sanitizer!
Great place for a getaway for whole family. Water felt amazing, room was nice and food was good. Water slide was a big hit with our kid.
Had a blast golfing. Greens needed a lot of work though. Food and service was great.
Positives were three options for dining and four pools to choose from. I liked the heated walkways. The beds were a little too soft for my taste and Id like an extra blanket available in the room so I can keep the room cool for sleeping. The bathroom was nice, but if there was a vent for getting rid of steam, it wasnt working. The hotel was pretty low on guests that night and yet we were given a room that was a long walk from parking and pools, and my husband has trouble with his foot. But, all in all, it was a very good experience.
This is a solid hotel and is very different but it is solidly 3 stars. It has a big indoor and outdoor pool, both filled with water from the hotsprings. But, the rooms are a bit dated and our A/C seemingly stopped running at night no matter what we did before turning on again when we checked out. It was pretty warm to sleep in. Also, the pools arent super clean and the tiles either need to really be scrubbed or replaced. Lastly, they have a water slide but you have to pay to use it. I understand their thought process but I disagree with. It creates a nickel and dime / Spirit Airlines perception when their rates are very high for the area and are certainly more in line with full service airlines.
Very expensive and the rooms were dirty. No snack bar open due to covid but the alcohol bar was still available. Not very kid friendly.
Always good but a bummer the pool isnt open past 10pm now
We were there 3 days and 2 nights. The staff at the front desk and the pool side bar were friendly and helpful while most everyone else seemed annoyed when we needed help. The pools were amazing and clean. Our room was gross. The floor was filthy and so was the shower. Our fridge had cracks and we told housekeeping who said someone would come look at it but never did. There is no complimentary breakfast. Not the best.
A wonderful weekend ..a great venue with an amazing staff.
Food on the casual side of the restaurant wasnt very good and very small portions for a 16.00 salad. Slow service.
We love this place! We come every year for our vacation/family reunion. We love the hot pools, they have outside and inside pools, hot tubs. They also have an arcade where kids can play games, they have fitness center, a huge golf course. The condos are very well equipped with all the appliances that a family needs! Needless to say... its beautiful and we love staying here its always a fun week!
Very nice staff. Great amenities. Coming back soon!
The pools were fun but this hotel is nothing special. Its an $70 room quality but they charge over $200 b/c of the pool. It was 76 degrees in our room when we were trying to sleep and they refused to turn the a/c on. There is no way to turn on the a/c unless they turn everyones a/c on. For a $200/night room, I cant turn the a/c on? They gave us a fan, we had to leave the window open all night, and when we woke up everything smelled like skunk. Presumably someone outside was smoking weed in the early hours of the morning. Super classy. Im giving 2 stars b/c the gave me extra pillows.
What a great golf course Game could use a little help but course is in fantastic shape.
Wonderful place to bring guests!! Lunch was wonderful and the staff was great!
The pools we’re amazing. We have two kids 2 and 5y/o and we all had a blast in the pools and the slide. Evening lifeguards were less than attentive. Morning lifeguards were friendlier and much more focused on the job. Hotel staff overall was mediocre. We stayed in room 206 and the beds were lumpy and horribly uncomfortable. Not worth staying at but would definitely make the day trip for the pools.
First off, I do want to say that I love Fairmont. Its an all inclusive resort & we always have such a relaxing time there. The reason Im dropping to 3 stars is because the prices have gotten ridiculous! We went in the middle of the week during the slow season & prices were still high. $200+ a night for a room & the beds are comfortable, but I have stayed places for far less money that had softer towels, complimentary breakfast options, and made me feel like I was getting a deal. $20 for two bowls of oatmeal & 3 sausage links had me wishing we had brought our own breakfast options.
Fairmont is always delightful. A great place to bring the family and enjoy the natural hot water. The slide is super fun and a big hit with the kids. The staff is very helpful and great at giving directions. They have a snack bar for the family to get some odds and ends as well as adult drinks. Its a very relaxed atmosphere as well a just a good place to forget about the world around you and blend with the crowds. Life guards are on duty at all pools and they do have life vests for the little ones available. Facilities we clean but I do wish the dressing rooms were a little better to dress in.
Waters edge, their fine dining restaurant, was one of the most horrible meals I’ve ever experienced relative to the cost. The salmon was undercooked imo and tasted strange. The spinach artichoke was gross and the bread brought out with it was stale. The server also spilled food all over my wife on accident. The only good thing I can say is that the wine we got was okay. If you choose to eat there, lower your expectations.
If you need a room that a wheelchair can get into dont count on getting one here. I told them when I made the reservation that my daughter is in a wheelchair and that we would need a room that her chair could get around in. Surprise room on 2nd floor, couldnt close the bathroom door while in there, not to mention she couldnt take a shower. Wheelchair bound people do not belong on any floor above the main floor.
The rooms were nice, although a little outdated and cold. Even with the heat at 74, I didnt feel it was terribly warm. The hallways were freezing. The staff was all incredibly nice and the pools were so relaxing. They have a snack bar, and full bar at the pools. Outdoor pool had heated sidewalks and the waterslide is great. My 3 year old was able to go down it with a parent. It is $1/ride extra. All in all, a fun relaxing place.
The good:Two big pools (one indoor and one outdoor)Two jacuzzis (one indoor and one outdoor)Lots of space for kids to enjoySteam roomFitness roomThe bad:Rooms are datedFeels like it’s just warm pools - no info anywhere on the actual hot springs and its benefitsHotel made a mistake with room service: someone had a pig out at the cafe and it got charged to our room, while we didn’t even order anything. The manager clearly was annoyed and unhappy that we contested the charges. Could’ve been a bit nicer instead of treating us with suspicion.Customer service could be better
We like the pools, but were not impressed by the cleanliness and service. The worst was the service in the restaurant. If you eat there, lower your expectations before going and make sure you have plenty of time. A close second to worst was the room cleaning service. Our room was skipped the first day. We had put out the do not disturb early as we have young kids, but took it off when the housekeepers were working on two adjacent rooms. We got back from dinner and our room had not been cleaned. The next day my wife asked the housekeepers to please make sure to clean our room since it had been missed the day before. The housekeeper was rude and made us feel like an inconvenience. Just not what you expect when paying the amount we did for our room. Like I said, the pools are great. Bring your own food if you can or go to Anaconda or Butte for meals.
We were here for about 24 hours. Swam the first evening and enjoyed the water slide. The slide is fun, but the entrance near the stairs was closed. Bizarre I thought. You had to walk then entire length of the indoor pool and up several flights of stairs to use it. So youll get your exercise. The accommodations were clean, which is most important to me. But the beds were pretty hard and the bathroom could use a cost of paint. No directional signs from the elevator on the third floor to the room either.During the morning swim, we found it the slide opens only in the afternoon. Disappointing for the littles.Ate at the cafe for supper and choices were minimal but good.Overall the place is nice but very outdated on the outside and could use some updating both in and out.
I am beyond amazed with Fairmont during the 2020 quarentine. We checked into our time share prior to any restrictions and have since seen incredible efforts by all staff to keep things sanitized. Dressing rooms are deep cleaned constantly, tables, railings and doors are sprayed all the time and theres hardly any patrons... so to see this level of cleaning, its just impressive.
Wow a stay holiday almost gone awry. I was checking in on Christmas Day to Fairmont hot springs in B.C. Canada when I discovered I had mistakenly booked a reservation at Fairmont hot springs, Montana. I called and spoke with the receptionist at Fairmont Montana and she was able to refund my stay! Fairmont hot springs in Montana has been on my list to visit...and with the great customer service I’ve experienced will happening soon.
Awesome stay. Would recommend
Good customer service but super expensive to use 1 slide! We stayed at the RV park and got passes to go there but the passes didnt actually cover the cost to get in the pool AND the water slide was yet another charge!?!
Relaxing, friendly staff, very clean. Beautiful environment.
It soothes my mind and soul.
Super fun and family friendly!
Absolutely silly! Sorry no stars for yu folks! Other hot springs allow admittance bozeman hot springs as a example. Yu poor business folks at fairmont wont allow us locals in to swim. We are what keep yu going in wintertime not the tourists!! Let us in too swim for goodness sakes!!!!
Tried booking through Expedia which said there was only one of the two nights I needed. I called the next day and was told that since I booked on Expedia for the first night they couldnt book me for the second night even though there was availability! I cant understand why they wouldnt sell me a room but they said no.The room was good. Clean and bedding materials seemed to be in good condition. The pools were pretty standard. To the point where you forget its a hotspring. Saw 3 used Band-Aids along the edge which staff walked past. There was also some junk in the pool. I pulled out a few pieces of garbage. Lifeguards were attentive and present. We ate at the restaurant. If I rated the restaurant by itself I would give it 1 star. The food was terrible. I kept looking over my shoulder expecting Gordon Ramsay to shut it down.Im pretty sure the bar waters down the liquor. I am not a big drinker but I had two oz of Jameson and a long island. That should have been enough to get me buzzed. Ordered a second long island to share with my wife who was also underwhelmed by the effect. Not drinking to get drunk but a good buzz on a family trip. The gift shop was good. They sell all sorts of pool stuff and dont gouge you doing it. The cashier was very nice.Overall it was mediocre at best.
My first time visiting here, and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the food in the restaurant was very good, and the pools were wonderful. My only regret is that I didn’t get to try out the water slide, it looked amazing and fun!
Cannot comment on the rooms or the hotel itself, I only ate in the fine dining Waters Edge restaurant.Service was excellent, Kayla, our server was awesome, food was mediocre at best.Seattles Metropolitan Grill prices, Dennys quality food.Nice decor and ambiance, but save some money and eat Burger King in your room. As Gramma would say dont forget to wait a half hour before you get in the pool!
I frequent this place, both for a quick soak while passing through and for the occasional overnight stay. Im sad to say my last visit a week ago was incredibly frustrating. My friend made reservations and upon checking in the lady at the front desk made fun of my friends last name! When she saw we werent amused she made a weak attempt to apologize but kept giggling like she was high. We talked to a manager but I doubt anything was done. From there I will say we had a delicious dinner at the waters edge, but the mood was overshadowed by our horribly unprofessional check-in. Our brilliant front desk lady also failed to inform us that the pools close at 10pm, so we arrived to soak after dinner and got 15 minutes of it before getting kicked out by an angry, shouting (yes, shouting) pool manager. We managed to get a short soak in the morning before we had to leave, but overall this experience was a dud. Suggestions to Fairmont: hire more professional staff, drop your already overpriced room rates until guests are allowed to soak overnight again, get rid of the bad staff.
Great place to relax and get away from life. We will return.
The Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is a lovely place to visit. It has beautiful grounds to stroll around and explore, and there is lots of parking. The front lobby is very nice and has a neat little gift shop. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful in getting you anything you may want or need, and the rooms are quite nice and comfortable. Unfortunately, the Resort itself has had its fair share of problems with the cooling systems in their rooms and is still running on an old system. So this makes the rooms incredibly hot and makes it feel like you are staying in an oven. I spoke with other guests and it seems to be a common problem. My room got up to 80 degrees and never got below 71 degrees! So we had to bring in portable fans to cool it down and open the sliding doors to let in some cold fresh air. Now granted, it did manage to cool down to the 40 degree range at night, but the rooms were still like being in a sauna. Look, I like the hot springs and all, but I didnt expect to experience it in my room! The Olympic size indoor and outdoor pools are really nice with plenty of room to swim laps or just wander around in. The hotubbs are....well hot, and the 6 story outdoor slide is quite fun, but they charge an extra fee for it. In my opinion, if you are staying there as a paying guest, that should be included in your overall price. Outsiders who visit for the day (to use the pool and hotubbs), should be the ones who pay the extra fee, and not the guests who are actually staying there for a few days.Another fun aspect during my stay was a convention that was being held there at the time. There were lots of familes with children in attendance. So, as a result, there were multitudes of screaming children and young teens making strange noises and sounds, as they proceeded to run up and down the hallways with a thumping type sound as they passed each room. That was pleasant to hear as the clock passed 11pm! The staff tried their best to catch and stop them after multiple complaints, but to no avail.Lastly, the food in the Resort dinning and pool area is pretty good, but some of the prices are a bit steep, so bring lots of extra cash for that. All in all, a very nice and picturesque place to visit and experience, but there are some troubling aspects that you might not totally agree with or enjoy.
Its just a cool place. I always think its a little pricey, but it always has lots of guests, and its hard to find golf, natural hot springs, decent restaurants for a group in one place, so the price probably reflects that. We will come again...have loved it every time.
For the price, rooms are not that great. AC didnt work and the room was very hot. I could not cool it down. I was not aware the pool closed at 10 or I wouldnt have booked a stay. I may have skimmed over new pool hours due to Covid however Google still says they are open 24 hrs. Food was great quality but bland.
I like this place more than Chico. The staff is generally friendly, they have a good selection of beer and mix drinks in the pool area as well as food, soda and slushy stuff. There are many tables to sit at and lockers to place items, cost 50¢. They have many pools that vary in temp as well as a large indoor and outdoor pool with a water slide.
We love it here! My teenager and I go, as often as possible. If were ever able to splurge and stay, we do. Its always clean and the staff is incredibly friendly and kind. It is a fun daytrip getaway. Cant wait to go back.
My favorite thing about Fairmont Hot Sprongs is that the pool is open all night for adults. (No lifeguard on duty) My least favorite thing is how much noise you can hear coming from outside your room. The food is excellent.
Great place to stop after a long trip
Just basically a hotel with a pool and a cool restaurant food, quality was alright.
Great getaway and much needed!
The hotel restaurants are completely aweful! They don’t have competent staff to handle dinner rushes. We weren’t able to even order for take-out to take back up to our rooms because the hostess said she was too busy. They said they were sanitizing chairs and were not. It’s an absolute mad house there right now! Please don’t wast tour tim until they can figure out how to handle this whole virus thing. Truly the worst hot springs experience I’ve ever had.
