A treasured gem in our community, the Washoe has been restored to its original glory and is listed as a National Historic Site. The owners are some of the best people in Anaconda and community supporters, and you cant go wrong visiting there. Prices super reasonable and great popcorn!

This landmark listed on the national register is awesome! During the mining boom in Anaconda Montana no expenses were spared in this one of a kind theater. $4 to get in is unheard of nowadays for new releases of movies. I hope you go and admire the hand painted murals on the ceiling, some in 24k leaf gold.

Nice theater to bring your family affordable prices. Way cheaper than a traditional movie theater. Kids can even bring there toys, roll down the stairs, and an intermission for every movie perfect for a bathroom break. Old historical setting, and a great owner that donates movie tickets to mental wellness programs. Thanks for the memorable time.

The most ornate movie theatre you can imagine

Beautiful historic theater which is decorated in the art deco style. Excellent sound. Watched a movie and had a medium bucket of popcorn and a drink for under $10. My only complaint is the fake flavored butter on the popcorn.

I love this theater. Great prices and very friendly people! We live in Butte but always drive to Anaconda for movies because the people are so wonderful.

The people who work here are friendly. The price was great. The building is terrific since its a historical site. I highly recommend everyone check it out.

The exterior tells you its old, but the interior takes your breath away. I love art Deco, and this theatre does not disappoint. You wont have reclining seats with cup holders, but you will have state-of-the-art screening. We saw a 3-D movie.

Old theatre with a nostalgic feel. The sound is not the greatest, and there is an intermission half way through the film, but they have a balcony (which is 50 cents extra per person), and serve fresh popcorn, soda, and candy. We love the olden feeling of the theater. Especially given 5 stars for the experience! Inexpensive compared to big city theaters. This is a CASH ONLY establishment, which is well worth it!

The acustics are so good, it is not necessary to have blaring sound in order to hear. I had forgotten about this value in this old theater. What joy.

My family and I come here often. It is a beautiful, historic building that shows regular movies and 3D. You have to wait a bit for the movies to come to the theater but for the atmosphere and the price, it cant be beat!

Great old classic theater still showing movies and having concerts. A treasure for the area.

Lets start with the obvious the price it is less than ten dollars a ticket even for 3D showings. The concession stand is well stocked and organized and the price is still reasonable. All around you see hints of the old days of theater, in the auditorium there is a mural on the ceiling and a nice balcony. It is a one screen theater so you dont have any option on what to watch but the atmosphere and price make up for that in a big way.

Popcorn and candy is still reasonably priced.Even has an intermission with enough time for refills or a visit outside to stretch your legs. My favorite place in Anaconda to visit. They offer standard and 3D movies and the movies change every week.If your looking for an historic venue and great architecture, then the Washoe Theatre is the place for you.

Very well kept up theatre, is very beautiful. Only a single screen as it was built in 1910. Is on the national register of historic places and is very easy on the wallet, both for admission and concessions.

I have been here so many times! It is absolutely beautiful for being so old. He has worked hard in restoring it to its original condition!He is gracious and kind both to adults and to all the grade school children that come through there. The prices are so reasonable. For the candy and pop AND POPCORN!He personally opened it and gave us a tour. About 8 years ago I had been saying what a great place to my husband (a master painter)So when we were in Anaconda one day I showed him and it was closed but he was in working and saw me and let us in. I just personally want to say THANK YOU!!I will continue to drive to you to watch movies because of the service and the wonderful memories!!!

This is a magical place for a date, a leap into another time or just a good filmexperience. Come early, take photos of the aesthetics, sit in the balcony, and enjoy the old timey prices of the concession stand as well. Ill be back.

Youve got a choice of main floor seating or balcony seating. Great fun for the whole family and the art deco style of the theater is simply amazing to look at.
