This museum offers excellent exhibits on industry, military service and every day life in the Mohawk Valley. It is a must visit for anyone interested in the history of Amsterdam and the surrounding area. Well worth the time spent there, and we will visit again in the future.
I didnt enjoy the maskless purveyor.
Great repository of local history. Tremendous train exhibit from ALCOA, Wonderful displays from early native American history through the late 20th century. A gem hidden in plain sight, unfortunately vastly under appreciated. If you havent visited lately it is time you stopped by. Remember its to late to say I should have gone, after its gone.Stop by for the first time, or maybe to renew old memories.
Quirky but interesting collection of interestting artifacts from around the world, with a special focus on the Mohawk Valley. The museum retains a bit of the feel of a 19th century private collection, in a good way.
An interesting collection with an emphasis on the industrial history of area, and smattering of art and taxidermy
Was a beautiful place to look at local history of the city and surroundings.
Great place to learn local history
A very quirky, quinticentially American roadside attraction.
Best place to relax and take Zayden
Ann was very. Nice showed me a lot and sold me some books
Good for the whole family
We waited almost 30 minutes after letting them know we were there to see the museum. Walked out without seeing it.
Needs work. Not enough Amsterdam history displayed.
Lots to see and learn about
I really dont see anyone go there and theres no advertisement of the Museum
