We rented the big obstacle course for a church youth group activity. All the kids had a great time. Gee Willie Entertainment staff made sure the inflatable was set up in a nice, flat safe area. They made sure the equipment was all clean and functioning properly prior to allowing the kids to play. At the end of the event, staff chatted with me to make sure everything went as planned. Professional and courteous are apt terms to define our interactions. I highly recommend them for great kid-friendly activities.

Gee Willie Entertainment provided great service and follow through for our graduation party. We rented speakers, a mechanical bull and a large blow-up obstacle coarse. It was delivered and professionally set-up and staffed with great people. The line for the mechanical bull was never ending and people of all ages loved it. The workers were aware of different abilities ages and everyone that got on the bull had a great time.The tear down was quick and clean. I recommend Gee Willie for your entertainment needs. Plus he is a very nice family man who helps make sure your family has a great event.

We booked Gee Willie Entertainment for our post prom event. I was concerned initially after reading prior reviews and I addressed the concerns with Willie. Willie assured me there would be no problems and he was right. Willie and his staff arrived in plenty of time to set up. They were polite and professional, and everything went as planned. Fun was had by all!

I contacted Gee Willie to come to our church and set up inflatables for our Vacation Bible School kick-off. He was easy to reach, sent me pictures and information so that I could better see what I would be receiving, and helped us stay within our budget. On the morning of the event, I called to discuss the rain policy and he agreed that it would probably be better to reschedule our event. This happened three times during the week because of the terrible weather conditions. However, Gee Willie was amazing and worked with us to reschedule each time. Finally, on the day of our event, we were very impressed with his staff and how polite they were to everyone. They arrived on time and worked quickly to get things set up. At the end, they torn down and cleaned up quickly and thanked us for using their services. Also, about 30 minutes after they left, Gee Willie called and personally asked how things went, how his staff worked, and thanked us for using them. This company is absolutely the best and I would recommend you call them for your inflatable needs!!

Please BEWARE! Willie Jives and his company was not able to deliver an inflatable for our Homecoming in October of 2014. We paid a $1,000 deposit and have yet to be able to recover that money. We did not know until the night before our event that we would not be getting the product. Graceland University was very understanding and forgiving. Now it is mid-March and we still have not been able to recover our credit card payment. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

We used Gee Willie Entertainment to bring a Giant Inflatable Water Slide to my nephews birthday party. Willie, the owner, met us at the warehouse so we could pick up the slide to take to the party. He was on time, very friendly and easy to work with. We didnt have to return the slide until the next day either! The kids had a blast and my nephew said it was the best birthday party ever! The Water Slide provided all the kids (various age range) non stop entertainment for hours! Willie even provided safety equipment (stakes, cones, etc) and detailed instructions! We could not have been happier and I think my wife and I are now the favorite aunt and uncle :) I would highly recommend using Gee Willie Entertainment for a birthday party, or just a back yard gathering to keep the kids busy! Gee Willie has new clients for life!

Gee Willie Entertainment last May for a whole school event. He was late showing up to the event, and then didnt bring one of the inflatables that we had already paid for. He left telling me that he would be back with another inflatable. He didnt come back at all!! His employees packed up the inflatable that we were delivered at the end of the event. We tried over and over again to get in touch with him to either get a refund for the inflatable that we paid for, but did not have, or a partial refund. He never responded to any communication that we sent.I would HIGHLY DISCOURAGE anyone from using this company!!!

Great way to celebrate a birthday, family event, or work party. Fun things for kids as well as adults. Easy to work with every time I have hired for our company and church outings.

Please do not trust Gee Willie....Over a period of several events during July / August 2014, Gee Willie Entertainment rented several of pieces of equipment from my company.I have called, left messages, and emailed in order to try to receive payment for these events. The payment that was provided to me was a check and it bounced. Willie would promise payments would be made and checks were in the mail. But, I never received anything. He has now stopped all communication with me.My company is a small business and I would just like the funds that are owed to me to be paid. Willie advertises equipment that he does not own. He will reserve it for clients, take deposits, call other event planners to provide the equipment, take full payment for the event and then never pay the company that actually provided the equipment.In my experience, this company is someone I would not do business with.

Gee Willie has the best inflatables around the Des Moines area. They always arrive and are set up on time! We at Echo Valley Country Club use them every year for our special parties for our members. Everyone, especially the children love it! We highly suggest Gee Willie Entertainment to anyone for their special events!

We rent inflatables from Gee Willie every year for our family 4th of July party. They charge a fair price, always deliver on time, set up promptly and are very friendly--despite having to work in the blazing sun on a holiday! Weve had wonderful experiences year after year and will continue to rent from them in the future.

I have rented a bounce house from Gee Willie every year for the last four years. My sons birthday parties have been a big hit. Gee Willie Entertainment is very easy to work with.

Ive rented bounce houses from Gee Willie Entertainment a couple of times and my experience has been great each time. Willie and staff make it easy to call up and book a time to pick up and drop off. Instructions given are super easy and the equipment is always clean. I prefer to renting a private bounce house versus going to a play place. I can probably rent from a competitor who is closer to me, but I choose to make the drive from Des Moines to Ames because of their top-notch customer service. You will not be disappointed with Gee Willie Entertainment!

What can a person say about Gee Willie Entertainment? Wish this could show negative stars we would rate a -10. First year we used Gee Willie was great, then following the bottom dropped out from under us. Contracted multiple inflatables and games and advertised as such to get a good crowd to be let down in a big way. Nothing showed up as planned with excuses that employees got lost or stopped by a bar to quit in route to our event. Said would make it right but yet to do so. Going on 2 years to make it right and no word on when or how. Wont return calls, emails or texts. Excuses will not work any more even filed a small claims judgement which he couldnt be found to give papers to. So here we are without the money we paid and a very bitter judgement about this company in general. So in other words find another company to work with for your event. Woodqward FNN Committee

Booked for after prom this year pd $1900.00 deposit....received an email 10 hours prior to event saying he was ill, couldnt have a conversation with me. That the company he contracted for our items said he did not turn in nescesary paperwork and were not willing to provide for our event. His family was going to rally around him and work out a way to refund our money. He will not respond to email or voice messages and I have not received any money back!!!!!

Gee Willie served as the DJ at our Father/Daughter dance at the Plex. He brought just the right amount of fun, special moments, great laughs, and a good mix of songs for this setting. Willie and his staff helped make this a great event with a desire to serve us well.

This is the first year we have used Gee Willie. Their staff was polite and easy to work with. The equipment was in great shape and they wiped it down during the parade and were very careful when we had a brief rain shower. And NINE complaints about him.I wish I could give negative score but 1 is the lowest I can go.He took money from my 4 months ago, was a no show the party day , he contacted another business for me. When in honesty he doesnt own any inventory, of course he cant come to a party. He admitted he was wrong. Agreed to give my money back. AND now ignores any communication.Ive called the police department, city, county, BBB. Im in a dispute with paypal to get my money back.Also, notice how MOST is positive reviews are from years ago.DO.NOT. BEWARE - SCAM - DO NOT TRUST:Over a period of several events during July / August 2015, Willie Chieves of Gee Willie Entertainment agreed to lease a Meltdown attraction to fullfill reservations from clients for a variety of events in and around Iowa, per his business, Gee Willie Entertainment.Not only did the equipment come back with thousands of dollars in damages, but Willie has not paid for thousand of dollars in lease fees.I have made every attempt to allow Willie to make payments and such but Willie has continued to lie and be dishonest about payments to be made and timelines for those payments. Willie has insisted that he would pay and missed deadline after deadline. Willie, has now stopped communicating / responding to emails, text messages and phone call attempts to resolve the balance.I simply want Willie to pay the funds to me, that Willie collected from clients for rental of my equipment, that was intended for me, but that Willie took instead. Willie rented out equipment that he did not have and used me / my equipment to fulfill those reservations. He agreed to rent equipment from me to use to fulfill reservations that he had made for equipment that he does not own and he collected money from those customers and did not pay me for those events / use of our equipment.In my experience, this person is totally dishonest.

He never showed up for our post prom...promised us our deposit back. That was in 2014...we are still trying to get our deposit back. Our students worked extremely hard to raise the money for this entertainment.
