The best choice in Utah. I’ve seen coaches turn around and get after parents for screaming at kids on the opposing team. You just don’t see coaches doing things like that in sports. I love that they value all the right things in sports that I as a parent look for. My kids have amazing coaches that are kind, patient and very knowledgeable. Go Surf!

One of my sons has been with utah surf for 4 years now, and my other son is in his first year. my oldest has never had a coach with a son on the team, and his current coach he’s had for 2 years now. my younger son has a coach who has a son on the team but i haven’t ever felt like there was special treatment for him. we are so pleased with the growth our sons have made while playing for surf and would recommend them to anyone looking for a competitive soccer team.

Every team is coached by a dad. Even the assistant coaches, for each team, are coaching their kid. So forget your child’s talent level. He/she will always miss playing on the correct team, because dad(coach) is going to pic his son. Forget about your child maximizing his/her potential, because the coach(S) sonS will be the center of the offense, regardless of talent. Worse yet, if the coaches son doesn’t like your son, playing time will be affected. If the coaches son misses practice, Games, team meetings...won’t matter he/she will still start, and play all game. If your son does any of the above..., consequences. This club is made up of average coaches, who are there to spend time with Their son. Go to Arsenal FC, where coaches aren’t allowed to have their kid on their team.

This club is a discrace to the sport of soccer and to coaching. They care only for the dollar and not for the true development of the children they are entrusted with training and mentoring. This club tends to will tell you exactly what you want to hear to get your money. Year after year we watch this club distroy the confidence of their players. The best decisions we have ever made has been to remove our children from this horribly ran club. You pay for things never received and there are much better clubs or teams around the area to consider. You would think the club would recognize this by the number of players and teams that jump ship each year but apparently THEY DONT CARE which is evident across the board in all aspects of this club.
