They have so much fun stuff to look at. The store was very clean and neat. Parking is great and the cashiers are nice and very patient.

Came here in search of the best supplies in town to paint some rocks. Found em! Fire supplies. Shout out to Mary (I think? Was working at around 6 on thursday the 17th) she was the sweetest.

Had everything we needed. I love all the sales and we got a tall, thin christmas tree and all the decorations for under a hundred bucks.

Crafty place! Very attuned to holidays. Luckily the one checkout person duplicated, right after we got to wait in line all that time. At least the people behind us got the benefit.

Got home and realized we were missing a bag of purchased stuff (this is not the first time this has happened to me at Michaels). We called and got it back, they were really easy to work with. Remember to double check all your bags before you walk out, because they wont!!

Customer service was good. Had a long line and the manager jumped on the register and it went really quickly after. Would shop again.

Found the perfect insert pillow with the right amount of fill for decorative, personalized pillow. Some other places had pillows that werent quite as poofy.

Michaels is always good. Its Michaels, right? Customer service was pretty lacking today, though; kinda not what Im used to and kinda disappointing. Hopefully better next time.

I love going to Michael’s for craft items. They also carry my favorite paper planner: The Happy Planner! They always have coupons that you can use on your purchases, items are typically reasonably priced on top of that! Even my kids know they can get awesome craft items here. I especially like the American Fork location. It’s not as busy compared to the one in Orem.

We found everything we were looking for except one item. We thought we found it, rang it up, opened the package without hurting the product, and then realized it wasn’t what we needed and it was poor quality.I asked if we could return it, even though we had opened the packaging.Allison, working on Friday March 27th 2020 at 6:35pm, did not allow us to return the item, which we realized was not what we were looking for.We have done this at Michael’s before.Allison argued with us and told us that it was not a Michael’s policy to be able to return defective products.She was rude and made the situation extremely awkward.As a result, we will not be returning to Michael’s in American Fork.

I love Michaels! I never buy anything full price because they always have coupons. You can get them on their app, in the newspaper, on your previous receipt, in the mail and online. If its something that never allows you to use a coupon (like their Lego sets) buy it somewhere else because Michaels does price everything higher than other stores. But their coupons always make the items under market value. This particular store usually has a great selection. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Michaels has great options, and is open for both walk-in, and curbside pickup.

Love shopping here! Lots of supplies for baking and crafting and pretty decor. Just wish you could use their coupons on sale items use a coupon instead of getting the sale price like hobby lobby.

We always like to come here for crafting needs. We have found that its not always the best place but we can usually find what we need or something like it.

This is a clean and organized Michaels. Im always able to find the crafting supplies I need. The staff is very friendly even during the high stress times. The staff also knows the location of all the items I asks about or are willing to help me find what I am looking for.

I love the wide variety of craft items available for a lot of hobbies people have. Their prices are decent and they always have a coupon you can use on an item. They also have a lot of sales when they are changing their inventory each season.

Okay service . . . A little miss communication occurred about the online order pickup process, and where we could be checked out for that at. We were sent to the back of the store (framing dept.) only to be told the framing dept. was closed, and that wed need to journey back up to the front of the store for checkout. . Once we reached the front of the store (again) there was quite the line (again), in which we had to wait in a second time to attempt to buy the same item we attempted to purchase the first time. . . Second time was successful, just wish they could make orders a little less confusing for the customer

Helpful staff. They are great at framing. I always send my art through them. They usually have sales going on. Their selection of supplies is serviceable. For the more esoteric stuff, you need to shop online.

This place is expensive but kind of lowsy products. Also, the diamond art kit we bought didnt have any diamonds in it. It was apparently returned by someone and then put back on the shelf without them checking it.

I am a baker, and I have just found how amazing this baking section is over at Michaels in Orem. I love their selection!

Vincent in the Framing department is very friendly and knows his work. He framed a print for me and did a wonderful job. I just brought him an original piece to frame. I highly recommend this location for all of your arts and craft needs.

I have mixed feelings about Michaels, but the last two experiences I had at this store solidified my opinion as negative (but not hatred). See, I have never understood why someone designs a craft store with tiny aisles. It is a craft store! People are going to stop and look at materials. This isnt a grab-n-go type of situation, so it is just poorly organized in a too-small space for the purpose it serves. Then there is the staff. This location is terribly understaffed and it is hard to find someone to help you. They are nice, Ill say that, but there arent enough and it seems like they arent around to help you. Then, because there isnt enough staff, the waits are long, even for pick-up orders! It is frustrating.Recently, I went to get something framed. The man who works the framing counter is lovely, professional, and does great work. When I went to go pick it up, however, the person that finished the frame cracked in when they put in the screws and they were going to give it to me like nothing was wrong! Excuse me, that is just plain bad service. Luckily, the woman who was helping me when I picked it up saw the damage and it got reordered. This is all dandy and all, but I took it the weekend I did to give time to get it in time for a birthday gift and because of their mistake, the frame has to be reordered and it wont be ready on time. That is just unacceptable in my opinion. You would think that someone who is finishing a frame would know how not to crack it, or at least call and say that the frame will be delayed because of it. I was not pleased, so after I get this order, I will not be returning to get anything framed here. It is not a reflection on the main framing employee (I think his name is Victor?) because he is wonderful and professional, but the process after the fact. That, combined with the fact that custom framing is expensive, it should have been done well the first time, in time.

Just walking into a Michaels fills me with the desire to start making something. These stores are fantastic for crafty DIY types and this location is no exception.The staff is friendly, the store is clean and orderly. You cant really expect more than that.

Michaels is a good store, but the employees at this location were quite rude. With 20 minutes to go to close they started walking the store telling people to go check out. One employee stood next to a group of customers and kept saying 15 minutes left, 14 minutes left, 13 minutes left. It was unnecessary considering they had a HUGE line up at the cash register. The rude employee came up behind a register but didnt help, so we ended up being there after closing time anyway since one girl with slowly ringing up everyone.

Not one said anything as I passed by or asked if I needed anything. Also the cashier seemed almost annoyed to be interrupted so I could check out.

GREAT Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale here. Store was buzzing but not crazy. There were some amazing deals. I bought far more than I expected to, including a beautiful Christmas wreath and some very cute Christmas themed jewelry. Love their themed items.

I don’t normally come to this craft store and my recent visit confirmed why. My mil wanted to go check out all the clearance Christmas stuff as she likes to get Christmas items for the following year. This place opens at 9 l. We get there it’s 9:45 and the person working was obviously not happy about us showing up. So we are just looking around. Nearly all the Christmas clearance is broken which I understand but don’t try and sell it. Then we looked for some materials we needed for an upcoming project I was thinking about. And they had what I wanted but it was way more expensive then the craft stores I usually shop at who also allow me to use coupons. We found a few things that we needed that the other store doesn’t carry and went to pay. The worker again the same one. Was not happy about us wanting to buy anything. Didn’t say anything to us or even smile it’s was just an unhappy why are you here face that I felt bad. I could see her eyes rolling when we asked to cash out. My mil who never says a bad thing about anyone even commented that the worker looked happy to be there NOT.I have to say that with the unhappy, rude service and over priced items I will not be rushing back here EVER.

I love Michaels! I feel like it is such an underrated store. They have killer sales all the time that make up for their more expensive regularly priced things. Beautiful unique decor, a huge selection, and great layout. It is the crafters dream and the DIYers paradise, and for the average mom trynna be festive, it is a life saver

Weve gone to this Michaels a couple of times only to find they didnt have what we were looking for for our wedding. Its all good though, the store in Orem always had the stuff we need. 4 stars

I would have given a 5 had the person we asked for help not just shrugged us off. It took us over 30 minutes to find someone willing to help us. She knew exactly what we were talking about and took us right to it. I even showed the first person a picture of it on their store website.

70% off is hard to pass up. What a great sale. On what? No idea. I drove my wife over to the store and after 15 or 20 minutes she came out with a big smile on her face. Id wait in the car while she drowned kittens if I could see her that happy. (Please dont tell her car I said that!)

I always find great stuff for crafting and decorating at a good price, but sometimes it can be hard to find items. The employees however, are very helpful and always point me in the right direction.

Had a very unpleasant experience. After ringing up my items the total was higher than I expected so I asked if there had been something pricey. Without even looking the cashier responded, Everything.She then left in the middle of my transaction to answer a phone call without saying another word to me. I finished bagging my own items and grabbed my own receipt, then walked out the door without even a glance from her. Upon reviewing my reciept I discovered she had rung me up for some paint I had pushed to the side and told her I didnt need anymore. She very obviously had not paid attention.I would hope that Michaels would provide better training and supervision to its employees.
