Absolutely fantastic!! Best date night we’ve had in weeks. Brandon was extremely helpful and friendly, he showed us the ropes and made it an incredible experience overall. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to something a little different or even just do something fun!! It’s really not too hard either, so I would definitely recommend it for anyone!!

I had a blast at Phat Axe. The owner was super friendly, a great teacher, and a good person. I had a really good experience, and I will certainly go back. I got to throw short axes, professional axes, long axes, fireman axes, ninja stars, metal playing cards, and my favorite: the “batarang”.I recommend you check it out. It’s a great place for a date night or to blow off some steam. Well worth your time.

Very engaging atmosphere with a super helpful instructor. He taught us how to throw axes stars and knives with a great accuracy and technique. Me and my wife even got double bulls-eye while playing around the world, one of the many games they teach us. Human versus zombie is our favorite game out of the ones we were shown for ax throwing. Were giving a 5 out of 5 because were going to go again!

Axe throwing is WAY more fun than I thought it was going to be! Kind of cathartic too, you know? Brandon helped us get started and he is FABULOUS, great guy, totally knows his stuff! He’ll help you branch out too if you’re looking to switch it up a little! We got into throwing stars and knives and even tried out the cards (though we weren’t as successful, we’ll be back to practice). It felt safe, even though we were hurling axes at a wall, and it wasn’t as hard as I expected it to be! Anyone can do it! Excellent staff (thanks Brandon) and excellent fun!

Just went on a date here and it was SO much fun! I’ve been to two other axe throwing places in Utah Valley, and this is now my favorite because of the extra items they have. The Ninja stars were my favorite! There is just something so satisfying when they stick the wall. I also really liked throwing the metal playing cards.One suggestion would be to put more lines behind the main line...that way if we throw from farther back we can still maintain a consistent distance each time.As others have mentioned the owners are super nice and fun to talk too. The hour went by way too fast and I look forward to going again.

We came here Saturday evening with some friends. We have never been axe throwing before. I am hooked now! I wish it were a bit less money but I’ll still go back. The gentleman that helped us out was awesome. He had a great sense of humor and was helpful. I wish I could remember his name.... anyway. It really is a great place to have fun with friends or family. I’ll go back for sure.

We had a wonderful time at Phat axe last night! The vibes there are fantastic and there is an abundance of throwing objects! I had a blast with the knives. They also have a smash room!!!! Break stuff with sledge hammers and crow bars, who doesn’t need a release like that every once in a while! They also have a paint splatter room where you can make a serious mess of paint, in which you also get to take the canvas home that you painted all over. SUPER RAD place! Check it out!

My husband and I had SO much fun! This was one of the funnest date nights we’ve had. I was honestly kinda scared, but I had nothing to worry about. Brandon was there helping us and showing us how to throw the axe and was there to assist us if we needed anything. Such a fun experience, 10/10 would recommend.

We had an office party here a couple of months ago. It was so much fun we decided to bring our spouses for date night. Both times were great. Brandon was great and involved us in some games which kept it competitive. Highly recommend!

The owner John is absolutely awesome and so welcoming! This establishment is super fun, and great vibes right when you walk in. He carries a wide array of things to throw including throwing stars, throwing cards, batarang, etc as well as the traditional axe. While throwing tonight, he had a small group smashing things in the smash room. I was shocked at how well the sound was contained and didnt bug us one little bit! The establishment was super clean and well maintained. Guaranteed we will be back in no time!

Such a great night with friends! We goofed off, made up some games, and had a night of silly competitions. I’ve been to another axe throwing location and the staff is extra helpful and friendly here. The selection of items to throw other than the axes were the best part about this location. Maybe next time, we’ll try the smash room or paint room.

Awesome experience! I loved how they taught how to play different games & differ techniques on how to throw. We loved throwing the ninja stars. I felt like an authentic ninja the whole night. Brandon helped us come up with new games. It was phenomenal!!!!

We spent an hour throwing axes with our family....everybody loved it.....great activity For 5 boys! They owners are helpful, full of energy, and great hosts...made sure that everyone had a great time. They have fun games you can play to compete against each other which was a huge part of the fun. My 9 year old couldn’t throw the axe but they had Ninja stars and other options that he loved! Great night...we will be back!

My husband and I went to the Phat Axe smash room and had a blast! We were provided protective gear, a couple of printers, a basket of glass bottles, a few miscellaneous items, and our music of choice. Then we were provided a variety of implements of destruction. It was so much fun! Staff was professional and fun, things ran on time, the place was clean (okay, as clean as a place can be that’s set up for smashing and axe throwing) and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Will definitely go again!

Phat Axe American Fork was great! This isnt the first axe-throwing place Ive been to, but it slices easily through the competition. In addition to being able to throw axes, you can mix it up by throwing ninja stars or even batarangs for a while, at no extra charge. 10/10, would definitely recommend.

We had such a great time here and would recommend 100% to others! John was so nice and gave us great demonstrations and tips on how to throw different pointy sharp objects. We cant wait to go back and take our friends with us. Go, you will not be disappointed

The shop owner checked in with us every so often and made sure we were having fun. Taught us a couple of games to try while we were there for our hour. Told us when it was an hour. Was a really clean shop! She made sure that we weren’t paying over what their prices were. This was an amazing experience!

This is a fun time. They have more than access to throw including knives, ninja stars, vampire crosses. There ways of keeping score and trying different games. We did not have a reservation but we still walked right in there was no line. This was a great date night

This location has excellent service and excellent materials! The variety of throwing objects was very fun. Different participants were spaced out very well and I felt safe in the conditions that were provided.

First time there, and we had a blast! John was great helping us figure out what we were doing, and the games he showed us were great (except that I got my butt kicked in all of them...). This is some fun stuff. So theyve got two sections -throwing and smashing. The smashing room is basically your chance to reenact that scene from office space with the printer. But we spent our time throwing. It included instruction at the beginning, and the host even introduced us to some game modes. It was really fun and we ended up getting quite competitive with each other.The space was clean, we had access to axes, hatchets, throwing knives, stars, batarangs, and metal throwing cards. He even let us try out the fireman axe a beastly 2 hand axe. It was great fun all around

This was such a fun place to go on a group date! John was so patient with showing us how to throw the axes and “other pointy things”. He was also just such a chill guy. That atmosphere of the place was unlike anywhere else. John even commissioned local artists to paint graffiti-inspired artwork on the walls. John also had us sign the walls when we left, and had faith in our ability to pay because we forgot the wallet in the car, which was multiple blocks away. Disclaimer: there is great parking right in front of Phat Axe. Overall, this was a fabulous experience and an amazing environment to try something a little out there and a lot of brand new. 10/10. Would recommend without hesitation. We will be back in the future. After all, I haven’t quite succeeded at sticking the batarang yet.

Took my brother to the smash room for his birthday. Money well spent. What more could you want in 2020? Breaking bottles, smashing printers and scanners, all while playing your own music. Ill be going again.

Wife purchased a group-on, but when we called to make a resuscitation, in during the week day time limitations, they stated the company changed ownership and no longer accepted the group-on, and that a notice was sent out in April and for a refund with in 90 days, and that the St-George location was the only one accepting the coupon. group-on still shows them as the only location, google still shows both locations together, and nothing about a ownership change, while the guy that answered the phone was not rude, he was really quick to point out the cancelled coupon No notice was sent out, by them or Group-on, kinda wander if its a scam to not honor it after covid-19 and get more money.......

Pretty fun! We did Groupon for ax throwing & the smash room for Christmas & used them tonight. Fairly steady flow of people for a Monday night but reservations recommended. We brought our own glass to smash & it went fast. She brought us one crate then it was $5 additional after that. Wear thick soled shoes! My daughter felt amazing after. Great stress reliever. Hubby & son threw axes & had a blast.

The team that they have to help you is great! they help host games at your table, provide safety, and throwing lessons.If you dont know how to throw a ax this is the place to go. You will have great instruction, and I Promise you that by the time you finish your first day there, you will be able to sink that ax into the target.

They also have a deal to do 30 minutes in the rage room and 1 hour axe throwing.It is a work out so make sure it you are ready to break a sweat and have a good time.Best Christmas present ever!

This location is amazing as far as axe throwing goes. They have other challenges like knife throwing, and you can even suit up to break things. I didnt 5 star it because they didnt have any chairs, and I couldnt hang my coat up. If you are going on a date, I would recommend the provo axe throwing on center street. They are cleaner and have a better environment. Otherwise, I loved it here!

I brought my friends here for a bachelor party and we had a great time. The staff was friendly and the throwing options were great. We threw ninja stars, axes, playing cards, knives, etc. A very fun and unique opportunity!
