This store has very little live stock. The man that was working is very sensitive to the truth. Every time I replied to him he had a reaction. When you have empty tanks expect to not make a sell. He had zero knowledge of what he was trying to sell and if it was in the store or not.

Had ordered 10 fish for a 7yr old on Christmas three weeks in advance. 3 days before Christmas we went in to check up on order make sure theyd be ready for pickup Christmas Eve. We were told two different stories. Needles to say they never did come in.Almost a year later we heard the person was let go, and so we would try them again. Ordered a bamboo shrimp. We called every week for a month giving them the benefit of the doubt. Guess what never came in? Guess who will never go back...

They have all different kinds of fish and fish tanks here. If you are into having either a fresh or saltwater fish tank at home this is where you can get supplies.

I love the friendliness I recieve every time I go in. They will gladly order what you need if its not in stock. I will go here first every time while in Amarillo, and not just because the prices are way better.

This place has a great selection of African Cichlids. I was impressed with their stock and their prices.

This is not a bad place. The selection of everything is just very limited. Its understandable because the location is very small for an aquarium store. The people I spoke with very friendly and knowledgable.

Awesome shop! They go above and beyond for their customers and the fish and pets they have in store. The store is well maintained and clean and the employees are knowledgeable and helpful. An absolute must visit for fish afficiando.

The young man is very helpful the lady in the back seemingly the owner does not listen and talks over you. Very limited selection.

Lone star aqua farms is by far the worst place I’ve ever been. Their reptiles exhibit was very astonishing in the way they had it’ under construction. One lizard didnt have a light at all he looked cold and stiff hes at the point to where he going to die. They dont have UVB lights for the lizards.All of the reptiles looked malnourished, and the way he handled them as well, very rough and brutal.The employee confronted telling me ”you need to leave the store and get out” telling me about some issues the store was having, publicity-wise, I told him I had no correlation in that and you have the wrong person, I told him Im here to buy fishes, he said no get out. Told him listen here I dont know what youre talking about but I am leaving.Bad costumer service!

The welfare of animals in a pet store would be high priority wouldnt you think? This place lets their animals suffer and DIE because they dont want to purchase UVB bulbs or even heat lights for the reptiles they house, I saw 2 nearly dead lizards here, none of the animals had food or water. Only 3 tanks had heat lamps, and inadequate housing. Before accepting animals into your store you should have the means to keep them alive. I was told they were planning to get UVB bulbs for them in 3 weeks. In three weeks these animals will develop metabolic bone disease and it can kill them if not treated soon. Very unprofessional business, just a group of men who want to make a quick buck on what they can.

They don’t know how to take care of their Reptiles. They are often sold malnourished and then some found dead by customers. Don’t shop here and support animal cruelty.
