I so love this place. The price is right and it is a cozy mom and pop movie theater. This is the movie theater that we all look for... They always have the newest great releases and you can actually afford to go see them and even take the family.

A Very nice, clean, friendly home-town movie theatre with home -town prices and fabulous popcorn! Highly recommend especially if you dont want to drive aways.

They have remodeled so its looking really nice. Prices are good. Service is a little slow but overall I would recommend.

I mean......its in Alvin, therefore, you cant expect to much more than this. Its a $5 movie which you cant find anywhere probably for the past 10 years or more. The employees are decent and they recently partially remodeled the concession stand. I personally think the money would have been better spent on seating and sound (I would have given it 5 stars). They also have a punch card...buy 10 get 1 free. There are only 4 screens and one is very large. Youll spend more on popcorn and drink than the movie, but still priced cheaper than places like AMC and Cinamark. If your watching childrens entertainment it will likely be loud due to misbehaving kids, but if its a kids movie, what else would you expect? I prefer going here when taking my kids. If my wife and I are going alone to the movies we usually do Star Cinema Grill.

This theater is AMAZING!!!! Only $5 for a movie ticket and the popcorn is so good. They only play 4 movies at a time but overall well worth a visit.

The popcorn tasted old. The nachos were awful and stale the chese tasted watered down and saltie the jalapeñis were dry and taste less and they still dont have fountain drinks, and kids running around with management not even aware of this.

Like the improved ticket/snack counter layout. seems to reduce wait time, allows staff ability to see patrons when entering cinema now.

In the process of being renovated after a hurricane. Nice place, just not finished. The fun of a maze finding the theater, all seats same height , size. No place I would prefer to sit. All seats only $4.00, thats good. Concessions reasonable. A good local theater that is sure to get better.

Small town theater with extremely reasonable prices. Instead of going to a bigger theatre and spending 50 bucks, I can go here with my whole family and spend 20. It needs a little work, but that’s expected when they are so friendly to your wallet. Excellent experience! I have been multiple times, and I will always return!

It took awhile before the movie started but it was good.

Too full from dinner to try the popcorn or snacks, though they are reasonably priced. Tickets are only $5, so we were willing to overlook the rundown appearance. After all, the lights are dim most of the time. Definitely a low budget place to satisfy your craving for going to the movies.

I really enjoy coming to this theater I have been a loyal customer for about six months now. The Popcorn is AMAZING, Ive found myself watching movies twice and watching movies i have no interest in, simply to devour the Golden Popcorn they serve. I would only recommend coming here if youre looking for a cheap movie ticket. The food is more expensive than the ticket. Sometimes the screen glitches and the movie quality Isnt good. The bathrooms are small but are cleaned up mostly

People were super nice. The only slowdown appears to be the computers when purchasing tickets and popcorn. Would definitely go again.

Great Movie Theatre. I usually drive to this theater from Pasadena just to watch movies. I love the at home atmosphere you get. The seating is comfortable and they have made many updates. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the crowds that the big chain theaters have.

Love the place but summer time and weekends you need earlier start times.

Place is nice but Im not recommending based on TWO things. No one answers their phone calls and they have ONE line for tickets and their concession stand. So if I just want to buy tickets and NOT get any food or drinks and am on a time schedule, I HAVE to wait in line. (Which there is ALWAYS a long line due to slow service and only two people working) There needs to be a ticket line and then a concession stand line. This is unreasonable.

We absolutely loved our visit. Its still under renovations, but you can see that they are doing a fantastic job at bringing back a good theater in Alvin. The staff were so very kind and patient with my very busy boys. We live in Pearland, but I am willing to drive to support these guys. Highly recommend!

Honestly, love the theater and they have the best possible popcorn. The selection isnt large on movies you can watch hence it being a small theater but they do have new movies up somewhat often and usually the good ones. Been coming here since I moved to Alvin and havent been disappointed!

I recently took my 2 year old granddaughter to see her very first movie, The Incredibles 2 and we had an absolutely awesome time! I was a little concerned about taking a child that young to a movie theater but she was quiet throughout the entire movie and never took her eyes off the screen. It was amazing to share that first time experience with her and Ill definitely be bringing her back here in the future. The staff is nice and polite and you cant beat the price!

I personally love this theater! Especially because they care about the customers and they have reasonable prices. This theater always has the most current movies that you want to see. They even have nicer seating than most other places. They keep it always so nice and clean and even take the time to say hello to you or goodbye. I Would love to have nachos added to the concession stand.

I LOVE Wellbourne!!! The owners seem genuinely concerned with keeping customers happy and they do a great job.

Very cold inside, movie was thirty minutes late, plus sound and picture quality were bad. Management had to offer free movie passes and free concessions for the folks.

Went to the 4:00pm showing of Secret life of pets 2 Coludnt hear ,speakers out I heard. Got warm in there maybe air condiation on the blink! Just Dont know if I would go back!

Love this theater. You show great movies, theaters are comfortable and clean, employees are wonderful. Prices make it easier for families to afford. Concessions are delicious!I read some complaint about a long line to buy tickets/concessions. Most movies I have been to have had a long line, sometimes a VERY long line. So that is not an issue with me.Thanks for bringing this theater back to Alvin. I appreciate it!

The people are great here! All movie tickets are $5. Its a friendly place that also have church on Sunday mornings... The City View Church to be more exact. You should definitely go with your family!

It was good at first but then they made up a lot of rules for teens that are dating. U need to have a ID I get it but even when u do u still need a parent. The other thing is that its kinda dirty they really dont try to make it clean. I do NOT recommend this place if u are looking for a good date.

Great price for all the new movies. Local in town 5 minutes from my house great Theatre I give 5 stars. No loud obnoxious teenage kids talking throughout the movie like in Houston.

I really like this movie theater the prices are reasonable. I was able to get 2 tickets, 2 drinks and a bag of popcorn for under $25 if I remember correctly. Definitely would of spent more money at Cinemark had I gone there.

Very reasonable and no worries about anything laid back Christian values. customer service was great very home town feel. Comfort in seating still working on the carpet and remodeling but they are on a budget will give my money to the little guys every time.

I really like the prices along with the service all in all great place to see a movie that just came out. As far as other things if its not a movie that just came out youll be in a much smaller theater, its not bad, but its not as good as the main one. Hubby and I went to early show.Tickets, large popcorn, and water, got change back from a twenty. Was cool and quiet, also many ppl there. (?) First time to go in many years. Will revisit again.

Best theater I have ever been to!

Reception floor was full of popcorn. The place is always in a state of repair. The appearance needs lots of work. The paint job never was completed correctly. Prices good, staff is friendly. Good movies, good sound, some seats comfortable, others are not.
