Attended adventure bay and with my two friends and was super excited to go in the wave pool only for all of us to almost without notice from ALL three life guards. not only are the waves in the wave pool extremely dangerous they pull you underwater, and life guards don’t notice. they only have three life guards watching a wave pool when there is VERY small children in there. After almost drowning in the wave pool, we decided to go to the lazy river. it was fine until we discovers MULTIPLE dead or alive june bugs all up in the pool. after this we gave up and decided to leave, when we get to our stuff we realize a pair of $100 shoes and had been replaced with $10 gift shop shoes. obviously confused we went to tell the gift shop staff, and asked where to go or where lost and found was to report something stolen or missing, when she informed us that if we wanted to report anything stolen or missing we would have to walk ALL the way up to guest services, which was all the way at the other end of the park. which left me forced to walk all the way to the entrance of the park barefoot. once we arrived at guest services, we informed them of the stolen shoes, they said that there are no surveillance cameras at the bay and that all they could do was ask the cleaning crew if they found any shoes. after we gave them our information i was left with nothing else but to go get gift shop sandals.other than that staff was horrendous, the life guards don’t watch at all, they mess on their phones, and are just short with children. i HIGHLY recommend not going here, not worth the money i paid.

Kind of inconvenient you have to walk through the entire adventure land park to get back to the water park. Easily a 30 minute walk instead of having a separate gate. They wont let you take any drinks in besides water even if they are sealed.

Very poor management of the lifeguard staff. Came here with my family including our soon to be 4 year old. Things were going well 2 hours in at the water park, 3 year old was having a blast in kids area going down slides and enjoying kids area until a lifeguard Madelyn? said sorry you can’t go down he’s too short. This after he has been down all slides multiple times multiple lifeguards and with both my wife and I. Furious after waiting in line 10-15 minutes we went to a different line we had just went down with a different male guard forgot his name waiting 10-15 minutes again. We are assuming Madelyn radio-d him as we watched a girl shorter than him go down in front of us then denied us, feeling discouraged and being singled out/discriminated as many kids were shorter in line and still going down than him all because of Madelyn trying to have a power trip/prove a point with me/us? Mind you our son is right at the 40” borderline and my wife was waiting each time at the bottom while I was at the top with him. So we were referred to the Aquatics manager Issac who did his normal apology that the lifeguards would be discussed and that consistency should be done better amongst the lifeguards, etc. Our son not understanding of course we went to change and leave and watch other lifeguards continually let other smaller kids going down. How ridiculous and lack of regard to any customer service or consistency if they are trying to abide or follow “safety” protocol what bull. Definitely a disappointment to a rather fun day with our family at the park.

Its well worth it if you go early and see both sides. Even more if you get a season pass early too.

The $50 increase from 2018 to 2019 was a bit step but we still got a cabana because its important to have that private quiet space in the middle of all the pool noise. Unfortunately, when I left my new Sperrys under the table the cleaning crew conveniently never found them...

This place has improved a great deal since it originally opened over a decade ago. Still mainly meant for kids but a good way to spend a summer day!
