If i could rate negative I would. The assistant manager has sold 3 trailers out from under us after promised we would be firstApproved for 2 separate loans and still getting the run around.Gretel was pushed back until November. When i was told I was informed they could put it for a loan on another trailer. Approved. Yet it was sold. So its happened a few times or i wouldnt say a word. First i get 2nd MAYBE 3rd? I asked for corporate or owners number. Evidently no obe has it.

I really like the area Im in its very quiet on this side however they had many homes sale at the time and but werent ready when I asked to see them (bait & switch). So i had to settle for for what they had empty. After 6 months I still havent received title! When I asked about purchasing another home (I like it better and have cash) and having them buy back this one for whatever theyll give me I was told no I have to be here more than a year !Not very happy.Update: today 9/14/20 I received a reply to this review that I have received my title. As of today i have not, in all fairness it may be at the office however they havent contacted me to let me know. Also id like to know what the options are. And thats ok as long as I get the title the rest can be worked out.

The office staff is hard to reach. The answering service is not on site. We are frustrated Because of that. When the staff is there, they are friendly and helpful. The gentleman who is working on the mobile home we are looking into for our daughter was very forthcoming and gave us a good feeling about the park

WARNING!!! never recommend this area to live. Before I get into my issues I had, let me tell you the facts. renting is about 885, owning your home is now over 500 for a postage stamp yard. trying to buy a trailer? youll look about 6 something. In last 6 yrs lot rent jumped up $100 . inflation at its finest. We got a house now and it is just better paying the house payment if you plan on renting. I guess the company is delusional about what kind of rental service it offers, literally a park of oversized cars to live in.The new trailers they moved in are trash, I watched them move trailers in and they were falling apart coming in not worth the roughly $30g or lower prices they try. managers specials are really bad shape. There is no point in buying these expensive homes they will not sell them back to you for the price or close enough, think like a car. they devalue if youre the owner. yet they will turn around a huge profit, ex: bought mine for $5000, they bought it for $4000, i asked for 15 bc i just put in new floors that was 1200 just put on the roof was 3,000 few yrs old! and they are going to sell it for $17,500, hope they enjoy profiting off my new roof and floors added in there. when you try to sell it they will still charge you lot rent not living there, even though i was waiting on them to make up a price. it was a messed up business deal, but you can do what you want as a billion dollar corporation.Ive seen ppl get rented out cockroach infested homes, which they can deny, but ive heard new renters coming into the office saying the bugs were still there. neighbors telling me how poor it is being a renter because corporation want problems done as fast and cheap as possible, or they blame the renter for the issues and that is why they couldnt get it fixed. Ive heard ppl infected with bed bugs.Youll get harassment notices, cant have kids toys out, cant have nothing like they are an HOA establishment. we would get notes while we are mowing our yard, to mow the yard, lets put it this way in 6 yrs Ive collected close to a 100 give or take notices bc Ive kept just about every slip. Remind you we owned too. I had zero trees in the yard all the leaves came from everyone elses trees and yet wed get notices to rake the leaves. our front yard was a floodplane, maintenance said it was on them with the leak bc it was on the other side, well no one fixing it I brought attention to it, I go to ask and I get told its saturated dirt. The roads flood terrible, bad drainage, it is scarier when it turns into giant sheets of ice! ppl drive crazy up the main drag kids or not. I insisted we get road bumps, they will blame city of alton, Ive called city of alton plenty of times which turns into the corporation responsibility. its back and forth whose responsibility it is. I dont see why alton would lie about it.Now for my personal experience, the other stuff is just general for everyone. My child getting bullied by the bouts of in and out residents, whose children run the street. doesnt matter if you go complain to the office they want police records, get one and it takes forever well kid on kid anyway. I got attacked in the office, once again complaining about the bullying, by the bullys mom. apple not too far from the tree. Long story short got her arrested and the office staff was incompetent to call the police, I ended up calling from her phone. Safe community is lies. So as anything I sent an email to corporation, wondering about being attacked in the office. they wanted to try and evict us in ten days if we did not pick up our snow shovel and rocksalt, mind you dead winter time. Went into the neighborhood asked the ppl esp ones with the worse looking outside and not one of them was on this List they lied about. tried calling George he is the Head of the branch, to scared to talk to us. We moved out a month later into a real house. It was great ending that nightmare. You really need a ton of consideration from choosing this area of living. The truth is better than others being trapped!

Ive lived here over 4 years and, except for loud cars, have had no trouble. I like it here.

My friend Cooligan lives there. Kinda depressing because of all of the poverty in this place. I was taking Cooligan to my house so he could mow the lawn.

Very nice mobile homes. I dont know the price of rent for trailers or pad rent. Some of my family have lived here.

Single mom with one year old and they sold me a home with black mold. I would rate negative if I could.

For the first year we loved our trailer! Great spot and right by the park for our child. But always had problems. Closets that smell like mold, horrible drain systems, hvac vents are dirty as hell. Told them several times about things that are wrong and never fix them. Have a rotten stair on my back porch. (Hello safety violation) HORRIBLE OFFICE STAFF!

Terrible rates. Terrible office staff. You can get a 3 bedroom house for the same price. Stayed for one year and could not wait to get out. Absolutely horrible, would not recommend to anyone.

Stay away. Dont rent from them they give u one story when u move in and change the rules as they go. The neighborhood is a joke I was almost jumped out there by 15 7th graders and Im 35

As for me I love it .. I have no issues I have a pretty nice home... No issues with them fixing anything. I give them props for even addressing your comments because some places dont even do that they could careless your issues long as you paying.. people always complaining.. I feel if you dont like where you are or how they run things.. then find somewhere better..why stay and complain..im sure they want everyone comfortable...

Parent dont like thier own kids. Let them run wild like wildlife preserve!!

My daughter was in the process of filling out the paperwork to buy a trailer here and they sold it from under her forcing her to take a trailer in a less desirable location. A location an hour further away from family.The office person had her send in the same information multiple times slowing the process. My daughter wasnt late getting it in. There wasnt any justifiable reason to do this to her.My daughter doesnt deserve to be treated so poorly.

Horrible office staff to this day. I have seen changes in the staff and there is still no improvement. Will say even less about the company that manufactures the trailers.

READ ALL BEFORE YOU CALL!!!! My one year lease with these people is almost up and I cannot WAIT!. The management, maintenance, and all other staff are terrible. They make you wait, they disregard your opinion, and all they want is to be done as fast as possible. Within a week of moving in the hvac, sewer, and electrical all went out. And it took weeks for them to fix it. They ended up having to install a new bathtub after the sewer incident, and they installed it WRONG! And they redid The plumbing WRONG which caused another incident entirely where we had STANDING SEWER underneath out trailer for weeks. The neighbours are terrible, stuck up, and loud. And the management seems to put notices on your door for anything they can, and give you deadlines that are only days away, to which if you dont meet you are fined. They dont care about tennants, only money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY.

The lot rent continues to rise each year with no overall improvements to the park. The wooden stairs and ramp of the business office have been renovated and some paint added around that area. Id like to see some type of renovation of the childrens park.

FIND A HOUSE FOR CHEAPER!!! Not the best place for the prices. The new trailers fall apart without even living in them a week. Our trimming fell off piece by piece along with the air tunnel created by our door being warped and never fixed.

Never awnser the phones beautiful homes but how are we to get ahold of them if they never awnser the phones and they give you these stupied right ups we got one about have stuff stored under our pourch where we suppose to put stuff when we have no extra money to buy a shed also got one for our yard being mowed when we mowed it two days before ya i think things need to be chancged

Best place to start off a new living by yourself or getting out on your own

We live here currently and have never once been late on rent or had issues with police being called or been any type of disturbance to any of our neighbors. Have been here for 2 and a half years, actually. We have been trying to get the tacks in our carpets fixed since weve been here with no luck. My special needs daughter is afraid to step from the carpet to the vinyl because she knows her foot will get cut. The remodeling job they did was a joke. The kitchen floor vinyl started bubbling up within a week of moving in. We asked for them to come fix it, they never have. Now i have a patch of vinyl missing in front of my kitchen sink (obviously a high traffice area). Here recently we have gotten red notices on our doors saying we had a bunch of junk like ATVs and coolers in our yard and that we havent been keeping up with our yard. We dont even own any of equipment like that. Where we live the trailers on the street across from ours has the same exact numbers, but different street name and this new manager apparently doesnt know which street is which, because it is the house with the same number as ours on the next street over that has all the issues. We will be moving out of here SOON! My suggestion to anyone who is thinking about moving here....DONT!!!!

There are cleaner and cheaper places to live. Lot rent goes up EVERY single year and the park is still a dive and you can never get through when you call the front office. I am just doing my time here then this place can go kick rocks. Dont move in here!

There are no drains, which causes dangerous flooding. The road does not get properly salted and plowed in the winter. There are pot holes covering the entire road on both sides and very uneven patch jobs. These pot holes has others and myself unnecessary expenses for new tires. These expenses could have been avoided had the road been better maintained. I do not currently live here, but spend most of my week here and the rest with my parents. This matter definitely still involves me.

I have lived there since 2003 and the lot rent has raised so much it is ridiculous. I am trying to buy my home and pay lot rent and it is getting to much for me. It sucks in my opinion for those trying to buy their home.

Have two daughters that live out there, I wish I had the finances to help them move out, management there has really gone down. And if you have a car youll have to clean it all the time because dust is everywhere because of the cabal roads they have.

Enchanted Village is by far not one of the better places to live! The office personnel does not know how to run an office . They takes advantage of the people living there. Today we came home to find a Power washing service hooked up to our outside water faucet and she has him power washing 3 different homes using our water and we pay the water bill. Another example is She let the home next to us sit empty after the people moved out for 2 months...it was so roach infested they were crawling on the outside of the mobile home as well as the inside. We could not use our gas grill, sit on our patio and they even got in our vehicle which was parked in front in our parking place.They came across to our home and she would do nothing to fray the costs of us spraying our home because of her letting that home sit vacant for months. Sure we can move but it takes a lot to save up 1 months rent and deposit. We are seriously thinking about moving! Think hard before moving in here.
