Offers both indoor and outdoor activities. The outdoor activities are my absolute favorite as you can walk a trail around the pond and its perfect for running. The scenery is beautiful and clean. There is also accessible bathrooms along the path. For indoor activities they have a plethora of restaurants, the mall, and movie theater.

Well kept, very clean and perfect for walking or jogging around. The sunset here is almost always gorgeous and you get to see it reflect on the water as well. The fountain area is also perfect for kids to run around and play. Also perfect for those yoga peeps out there. They have this fountain water and light show that dances to music too.

This park is excellent! The atmosphere, the scenery, the music, etc. Its so clean here! There are two boardwalks, and you can see the menu turtles from them. The wildlife is beautiful.

It was lovely as ever,however too many people without mask or socially distancing. The fountain music display was great and the free elves to the children was a nice touch.

Its a great place to get out and chill for a while and theres places to eat, like Cold Stone.

Well... Hello Florida. Were here with family from Dallas. We lived the simple walk. Laughed at the notion of wearing a mask outdoors. Thought there needs to be a restaurant or two, but enjoyed the music and ambiance. Nice weather, nice walk. Good place to visit at night and feel safe and happy.

One of my favorite places in Altamonte Springs. If you want to relax, take good pictures or go for a run or a walk, this is your place. They have a lot of speakers with cool music so you dont even need your headset. Its always clean.

I have been having a really nice time playing Pokemon Go here. In the plaza area there are 6 Pokestops and 2 gyms, and its pretty common for someone to have a lure going at one of the spots. Its hot in the daytime because theres not a lot of shade but at night its well lit and feels safe. No skating, which is kind of a bummer, but probably for the best given the number of pedestrians.

With the Covid-19 its hard to go out and take a customary walk. Even from the view of your car the atmosphere is always relaxing and cant help admire the beautiful scenery.

Great area to walk around. Close to the mall and other restaurants, but there is only one bathroom for the park itself. Make sure youre good before walking around the lake- otherwise, you have to walk fast from the other side of the lake to get to the bathroom.

This park is amazing!! I especially love going during Christmas to see the Christmas lights and huge Christmas tree and see the musical fountain.

I have been going at night it is a wonderful chilly environment it really captures the holiday spirit a really beautiful lake I would give it a 10/10 the lake was clean and bright blue really serene and peaceful

Beautiful place for families or individuals to walk and take in the sights! The walk around the lake is exactly one mile, which is nice for easy tracking. During holidays, or other special events, they have live entertainment and food trucks. During the holidays, it is lit beautifully, and the fountain show is moving. I cant say enough great things about this park.

This is my go to happy place. I suggest standing on the North side bridge at nighttime. You will get a beautiful view of the moon radiating off of the water.

I absolutely love Cranes Roost Park because it allows me to release and relax no matter what vibe I am looking for. From coming out to write a new story, to getting some exercise and walking around the water, to enjoying a picnic with a friend. It provides versatility and peace.

Cranes Roost is a beautiful park in Altamonte Springs! It’s safe and well maintained, has great pathways for walking/running around the lake with lighted pavilions at night, bird watching, fishing, picnics areas, fountains and pokestops

Love it here! Always clean and peaceful. Even when theres a lot of other people here, it doesnt feel overwhelmingly crowded. Theres plenty of parking. Bathrooms are on site AND Altamonte Mall is literally across the street. #Winner

Cant think of a better place to simply go for a stroll with my family. Walking around this lake brings excitement in my 3year old daughters day and mine too. You get to see all of the wildlife as you walk around the lake. And every year they have RED HOT AND BOOM. Did not go this year but definitely will be going next year.

Beautiful holiday lights and decorations!! Has seating and they are serving hot chocolate and pastries!

This place is definitely and family park.. Just the perfect setting for a date night, to walk and enjoy the scenery and enjoy what they have going on there that night. Also it is the perfect place for great PICTURES.... Roost Park has lots events going there I advise to check their event calendar I am sure you DO NOT WANT TO MISS OUT.. It is in a great location, they keep it up very well.. Just go for the day and are for yourself. Roost Park is the way to go

This park is beautiful and large. We took our children last weekend and then my girlfriend and I went without our kids this past Saturday and just walked around and fed the turtles and fish. It is so beautiful

We love coming here. Well before COVID ZWE would join others and go chase Pokemon... Family fun and exercise. Weve been once recently but not many ppl were there outside.

Cranes Roost is an awesome park with many events so see their website.We were there especially for the Christmas tree lighting & fireworks sponsored by Duke Energy.They have a band shell & Mr. & Mrs. Claus for the little ones.The park is pet friendly when no events are going on.It shares a parking lot with the Altamonte Mall and also an Embassy Suites is attached.

Its peaceful and has music that plays throughout the park. Bring your dog and children. No bikes, skates, skateboards or anything with wheels other than a stroller.

Is a beautiful place where you can walk or jog around it and have 2 bridges for people to walk from one side to the other , peaceful place nice people go there to walk around and jog. Visit it you will enjoy it.

In the morning this is a great place to go for a walk and even in the afternoon on the weekends there is usually always something going on. It’s a place where people hang out, exercise do yoga or listen to music. In July they had the largest firework show at Central Florida. is there a fountain for kids to play around that has a light up Show. Once a month there is usually a movie in the park. This is a fantastic place for families

This is a beautiful site for walking. Once around = 1 mile. I go at least twice each visit. Its a good place to ask your friends to come and enjoy the outdoors together. The special events are a lot of fun and if there is food its usually some really good stuff to eat.

Beautiful Aquatic Park with Amphitheatre, Walking Trail, behind Altamonte Mall near Many Stores, Shops & Restaurants, Events are held throughout the year with Red Hot Boom for 4th of July being 1 of the most Fun & Spectacular Fireworks shows in the Orlando Metro Area, Safe & Family Friendly that includes dogs. Go See It!

This park is such a nice part of Altamonte Springs with a walk around the park equating to near enough a dead mile. This park is great for walking around and close to some nice bars surrounding the mall. Well worth a visit when relaxing in Altamonte.

This park is located in the uptown Altamonte Springs area which is a short 15 or 20 minute drive from Orlando. The park features a lake, a walking path around the lake (some of which is lined with large oak trees perfect for a picnic), a fountain (there is a light and music choreographed show there at 8 and 9 p.m. nightly which is fun for everyone), large area in front of the stage where people frequently work out, gorgeous sunset views, and plenty of ducks to feed. Most of the park allows dogs to be walked there and provides waste bags, you just cant walk them in front of the stage area you have to walk on the upper level next to the paved road. There is a restaurant, Café Murano, next to the park that has outdoor seating for a nice view of the setting sun. It is also right across the street from the Altamonte mall and the uptown Altamonte Springs area which offers many shopping and food options as well as a large movie theater. It is close to I-4, but there is music playing around the park from a speaker system and allows you to separate yourself from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax. Check there website also because they frequently have outdoor movies, food truck festivals, music festivals and a number of other fun events!

This place is a beautiful center to the Altamonte Springs area. The park has been kept up and is constantly being assessed to accommodate the community. Its a nice place for a walk, to get exercise, do a little fishing, relax, or even picnic. There are always events happening here, like festivals and concerts. The park is surrounded by nice residences, local shops, a mall, a few gyms, and some good restaurants. Visit day and night for different views.

While staying in town for a baseball tournament, we wandered upon this park. Its absolutely gorgeous! Loved the landscaping, and the statues are adorable! Will definitely come back!

Went for the first time to see the lights in the park. It was wonderful to see all the Christmas decorations and music coming from the speakers in the trees. Its a great place to bring the kids (if you have any) or just for a stroll with that special someone. The fact that its a free event makes it even better. Will definitely make this a new part of my holiday season.

We met family staying at the Embassy Suites and walked over to Cafe Murano for dinner. Cranes Roost Park is a beautiful place on the water and great area to walk around. They do have entertainment but Im not sure when. Also, I heard there are shops at the other end of the park but unfortunately didnt have time to walk there. Enjoy your time there!

I come here time to time. This location can be for anything studying, picnic, photoshoot, or a date. What makes it even more amazing is all the wildlife and nature around.

This is an ideal area to exercise, eat, go to the movies, shopping or just relax all year around but mainly during the cooler days of Florida. It’s very nice area & a lot of people enjoy concerts & art fairs throughout the year.

Beautiful walk around the lake. Lots of shops and restaurants to check out all in walking distance. Centrally located to the hotel. The music is awesome to listen to while walking.

What fun to walk around Cranes Roost Lake. Lots of people practicing social distancing, smiling, jogging, ducks and other birds over head and in the water. They have this lovely park so beautifully landscaped. What a way to start the day!

Crane’s Roost Park is beautifully nestled next to a giant lake. It’s a great place to walk, jog or bring your dog! They decorate rather extravagantly for Christmas every year and they even have a light water show at the main fountain. They had lots of events and festivals before the pandemic. The hours are currently 8AM-8PM.

Great place to relax and kick a ball around with the kids.

Cranes Roost is a fantastic Park to go and walk. The surrounding area is very safe. There is a lot of wildlife, especially ducks and turtles. There is a lot of opportunities to take some great photography shots in the morning or at night. There are restrooms located around the park and there is even a park rep building. There are plenty of vents here and there is a restaurant close by along with the mall too. It is a fantastic place to go and relax.

A wonderful Free City Park that is clean and well keep. I great place to walk or jog on the one mile path and bridge. With free events for the public, from dance performances to concerts and local bands.

I was fishing on the bridge at around 5am. All of a sudden someone starts running at me and i started to take a defensive stance. Then i realized they were just jogging. That almost escalated quickly.

Its one of my favorite places to go especially when I just need to clear my head. Its a very calming & relaxing place to visit!!

What a beautiful and relaxing park. We went to see the sunset and were not disappointed. We walked around the lake. Looking into the water off the bridge (southeast) was lots of turtles. They were so fun to watch. Then at 7:00 they had a water fountain show that was automated. It was well worth the visit!

I love this place to walk around and spend time. Sometimes there are live music and other events. The view is amazing!!

My favorite place to go on Sunday mornings! I walk a mile or two depending on my mood and then i relax on my colorful mat and listen to motivational speakers-- so relaxing

I love it here during Christmas time. Its so festive. I went for a nice walk, watched the water light show, enjoyed a live band and had done Italian ice.

What a beautiful place to stroll around. A huge boardwalk-type area on a big lake in Uptown Altamonte Springs. I visited on a Saturday morning and there was a Farmers Market stretched across the whole park. Lots of vendors with art, jewelry, ceramics, and homemade things. Food trucks were also there. A very pleasant experience. I wanted to go back in the evening because my friend mentioned they had live music and entertainment at night, but was unable too. I will definitely check that out the next time Im here.

Great place to get outdoors and breathe! Beautiful trail surrounds a lake. Was there November and all the Christmas decorations were up although it was morning so didnt get to see them illuminated. Will try to go back soon to check that out! Adjacent to Embassy Suites hotel. Muranos restaurant right on trail. Autism walk was going on when I was there.

Its easy to calculate your mileage because when you go around it 1 time its exactly one mile. Its beautifully designed and the sunrise over the Lake is amazing! The squirrels and ducks make your walk very interesting.
