Great place to eat after shopping at the Altamonte Spring mall. I ordered spaghetti. It was good. The outside seating is great since it is next to a lake which give the best views of the restaurant. The service was good, but it was obvious the waitress kept removing the mask and putting it back when he was coming back to the table. In one occasion he came back and was not wearing it. Thats lack of hygiene. Other than that, the rest was good.

We are so Happy with the service, food and hospitality at Cafe Murano! We celebrated our wedding there on October 17th 2020. We highly recommended. The food is always so great! Calamari is super fresh, and the aioli sauce is amazing. My wife and I always share the wild mushroom pizza - Im a meat-lover but this is my favorite pie anywhere. Atmospheric by Cranes Roost perfect tonight, and best of all, the most memorable part was the great and friendly help from Danny. We have a special needs son, and Danny was (besides being great to me and my wife) was absolutely phenomenal with our son! The evening was great already, and Danny knocked it out of the park! Thanks Cafe Murano and Danny!

Wonderful place! Food was delicious. We had a delectable appetizer scallops. Perfectly baked rustic bread with a really good dipping oil. A tasty wild mushroom pizza with a perfect crust. A panini that was supposed to be veal but we really think it was chicken (delicious regardless.). A Caesar salad that had a great dressing and was chilled perfectly. We got dessert to go. Limoncello cake and cheesecake which look fabulous. Our waiter, Robert went above and beyond what we expected. The peach moscato he suggested was to die for. When we come back over in a couple months, this will be the place we go. Thanks!!!

Food here is great, but I have to say that Im extremely disappointed in them. I went in about a month ago with my Husband and no social distancing what so ever, no limited capacity, no masks, etc. I felt like the only one who realized we were still in a pandemic. Do better, Cafe Murano.

My boyfriend and I took the dogs out for a walk around the park on a Sunday morning and stumbled across this restaurant. We weren’t sure if the dogs would be allowed but were pleasantly surprised that they allowed dogs on the patio. We were greeted by someone who appeared to be a manager, since this was an impromptu trip, we didn’t have a reservation but the restaurant and manager was more than accommodating and assured we felt welcomed. Our server was Danny. He was prompt and friendly. He provided us with great recommendations and quick service. Our drinks were never empty and he was very attentive. He even gave the pups a little snack also! It was a pleasant experience all around. You could tell that everyone on the staff worked as a team to provide excellent service.Fantastic brunch menu and reasonable pricing.

Great food and drink as always. I would suggest they roll up the blinds earlier in the evening to get a view for the patrons inside. We are 100 days past the summer solstice and the evening sun is now in the southwest sky instead of the northwest sky like it is in mid-summer,. The western facing blinds could be opened earlier for the fabulous view now that the position of the evening sun has changed. The view is one of the many appealing things about Cafe Murano. You wont find a better view in a Seminole County restaurant. Just a suggestion to the very capable and accommodating management and staff to roll up the blinds a little earlier for the view.

Wonderful Italian restaurant in a great location in Uptown Altamonte Springs. They have a great menu with reasonable prices and some tasty drink specials/wine selection as well. They have a nice outside patio with a great view of the lake. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Updating the previous review and bumping Cafe Murano up to a solid 4.5 stars due our server, Danny, and the food. We never have tried their pizzas before and the bianca pie is calling us back to try some more. The Roman panini was packed with flavor and goodness. We also enjoyed the Lobster, Crab and Mushroom ravioli as well as the Stuffed Mushroom appetizer. And, back to Danny our server, we know hes taken good care of us before but, when he got wind of our birthday celebration he really went above and beyond to make it spectacular. Thanks Danny, well be back for sure.

My eggs benedict were awful in so many ways. They would not let us change tables because the other booths were specifically reserved, but both stayed empty the entire time of our visit, and they brought the wrong order to my husband. Wasnt worth the price. You could taste the spray oil or whatever they used on the eggs. Waitress had no personality.

My wife and I came here today hoping to have a nice brunch together. What we found was a crowded restaurant and much to noisy for us to have a pleasant conversation. She ordered the eggs Benedict and I ordered the waffle, eggs and bacon. It took almost 45 minutes for the food to reach us, but that wasnt all. The bacon took another 50 minutes. Wow! I will never go back!!!

Wow, one time terrible experience. My husband and I made a reservation on the open table app; the party was me, him and our baby. The hostess told us we only had until 6:45 pm to eat... which threw us off guard because the dining room was empty. We didn’t complain, we just sat and ordered our food. We ordered 2 steaks with risotto and shrimp and wow, we sooo disappointed! I have been here before but this was so bad! I ordered my steak medium rare and it was RARE. My husbands food was cold. He could not eat it. We decided to bring it home and shared our frustrations with the waitress. She understood and asked if we wanted to speak with the manager. My husband said yes. Well she said she was going to try and get him but since we are deciding to box our food, he was not going to come talk to us. Well, he didn’t come. They boxed our food and we paid. We will not be back. We came home to cook our food and it was not good.

Not a bad restaurant. The food was good and the service was average. There was no problems or issues but I probably wouldn’t go back. They do have an area with a live band if you like things of that nature.

It was our first time dining at Cafe Murano and it exceeded all expectations. We dined in on a Sunday for brunch & bottomless mimosas — my fiancé ordered biscuits and gravy & I ordered the French toast. Both of our meals were exceptional — cooked to absolute perfection And ideal proportions! Our server was amazing and made our experience wonderful.We will definitely be visiting for dinner in the near future! I highly recommend Cafe Murano for anyone looking for delicious food, beautiful scenery, great service and live music!

The only restaurant around the lake at Cranes Roost. Place has great outdoor seating overlooking the lake. Parking can be tricky but a few spots on the back side of the Altamonte Mall movie theater do the trick. Food is consistent and a large bar inside if you prefer. All your Italian favorites on the menu. Take a nice stroll (2,500 steps) around the lake when youre done eating.

We visited on Saturday and the Franchise Players was the band that night. All I can say is Wow!!!! One of the best bands out there.

Been there a few times but last week when we were there I noticed the bartender was wearing his mask below his chin and chatting away with the people in the bar otherwise food and service is pretty good.

My wife and I visited Cafe Murano last night for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. Living near Altamonte Springs for most of my life and seeing previous positive reviews online, we hoped that maybe this would become one of our favorite Italian restaurants.The scenery both inside and outside of the restaurant are both elegant. The staff was friendly and our waitress was delightful, as she brought out all of our food and drinks within less than 15 minutes.The food, however, was a bit disappointing. The raviolis my wife ordered kept falling apart each time she attempted to pick them up, as though they were overcooked. I decided to test a full order of the fettuccine alfredo. When it was brought out, it appeared more like a half order as barely half the plate contained noodles. The alfredo sauce itself was soupy, as though it had been sitting out for awhile or they had forgotten to put more cream in it to thicken it up.Overall the atmosphere and staff were great to where this may be a good place to hang out with a group of friends or co-workers for drinks at the end of a long work day. Unfortunately the food did not match this quality, as the entrees tasted like a dish ordered from the Olive Garden just down the road.

I wish I could give this place more Stars. The food is great, the craft cocktails are delish, with a great Happy Hour. This is my go to first date spot, its perfect with Cranes Roost water walk behind it. I always have the same server I cant recall his name (Daniel maybe) hes the best!

Ordered crab and lobster ravioli in a brandy sauce with porcini mushrooms only 2 mushrooms and not full mushrooms. The sause has no flavor. Ordered the calimari not flavor and very chewy. Ordered lasagna bland and mushy. The food has no flavor. First time we tried thier food and not impressed. Very disapointed for the price of the food.

Almost everything is made from scratch!!! Food is made to order!!! They have home made pastas and all raviolis are made from their own pasta machine!!! You can taste the difference!!!!

Really rude servers to be honest I came in with a good mood and the management and the servers were very rude and not only did I got pushed multiple times by servers the seating was disorganized and I had to move three times. Honestly I didnt even want to order food I have no idea how the quality of it is.

Very nice place. Great place to meet friends. Family place. A little noisy with great music playing. I went on a weekday evening between 7-8:30 and not very busy. Food sounds small like two raviolis on a half portion, but the four ravioli was way more than I could eat. Leftovers! Nice complimentary bread served too. The least expensive glass of wine in the menue was $8.00 big glass with a little in it. Everyone elses food looked delicious and I heard nobody complaining! Good service. Nice view even when it was raining on the lake.

I actually worked here for almost 2 years, I can tell you from an insiders perspective that the food is fresh, cooked to order and out of this world. The service is top notch. I worked alongside many of the waiters and waitresses on more than a few shifts. Also the management here will not hesitate to roll up their sleeves and assist wherever needed to make sure all the guests enjoy their visit. This includes even the General Manager Trent, who regularly walks the floor to ensure smooth, fast paced and personalized service. Cafe Murano also has a beautiful patio area overlooking Cranes Roost Park, the sunset here on a nice evening is unmatched in the area. Happy hour is from 4-7 every week night and 11-5 on Saturdays! Drinks are half off! They even have live entertainment on select days! I enjoyed my time here soo much both working and dining. I could go on and on about it. I highly recommend you checking out Cafe Murano for yourself. Go in, ask for Danny, tell him Dylan sent you and your visit will be memorable I promise you this. Enjoy!!

We sat out on the porch, which was great as it was a very nice night! The pizza with sausage, pepperoni and bacon was absolutely amazing! I did not care for the lobster ravioli, however. I would definitely go back to get the pizza and have a drink o the patio!

This could be our new favorite place. The Shrimp Diavolo was absolutely AMAZING. Our server Lou was great. He delivered the wrong dish to my husband but handled the issue quickly and professionally.The band Franchise Players was rocking the house and the whole place was upside down.We cannot wait to go back!

Went here for a birthday brunch. Its the perfect locale to people watch in uptown Altamonte. The food was good! The mimosas were decent especially for unlimited option price. great value. They are not stingy with mimosas. The server was fun. I experienced it on a Sunday with live music. Its does feel old and the food was not creative; basically how it looks on the outside --the menu patches; no surprises or wow moments.

The atmosphere and service gets a 5+ for sure. From the moment Destiny greeted us at the entrance and sat us to the server Danny who was very attentive! All of our food receives a 4. Eggplant, which is my favorite dish, was too cheesy for me. We will return.

This place was quite expensive for Italian food. However the food and service was very good. Even though I just got spaghetti and my hubs got the pizza it was good. They even offer half portions for the pasta section. My daughter ate ever bit of her ravioli which hardly happens. They serve you bread before the meal which was nice. They have a full bar and even a place to watch live music. Bathrooms could use some attention but I loved how they are full doors. Give it a shot ask for Dylan he was a great server. Dont get sticker shock. We will be back.

I love the live music they have on Saturdays. The food is delicious and a good portion size. They have a brick oven pizza that is next on my list to try. It gets really crowded on the weekends so a reservation is the best thing to do, you may get lucky if you try to sit at the bar. The staff is really friendly even running around on a crazy night.

Try the small plates and a bottle of Pinot. Sea scallops to start. Finish with the filet tips.

We like a lot going out. Yesterday we visited this excellent restaurant which friends told us about. We passed a delightful experience there with fine meal and an experienced team and a talented chef. We added this place in our list and we shall certainly return very soon. We warmly recommend.

Wonderful experience with top notch food. The brussel sprouts were fabulous! The risotto and shrimp and scallops checca were phenomenal! We had bread pudding for dessert which was good, but not nearly as good as the rest of the food. We will definitely be returning.

I am only giving Cafe Murano a five star review because of the server named Danny. My kids and I whent in there for the first time today for a late lunch. I am not sure if is was because of how we were dressed to casual for the upper class dine of this location, or the fact that my family is of mixed culture. Maybe the mix of both made it look like we didnt have money, or were coming to spend money. I am not a person to think like this. The host sat us in a room the furthest away from the other 2 tables that were in there. Ok covid reasons, im ok. I get sat next to the storage of the room. The boxes of wine are right next to my leg. Then I would say it took approximately 8 to 10 min for our waiter to come greet us. While there were 2 woman in this room making rounds. Neither one of them ever even acknowledged us. Then Danny came in the room and took over the uncomfortableness of the situation. He was totally awsome with my kids made them feel welcomed, was very suggestive about the menu and the wine. All while the ladies of the room never once engaged in a conversation, a laugh, or a refill. I wanted to ask to speak to the manager although I did see him walking the floor and making rounds, but never stoped at our table. In light of everything going on in our world today, I think people need to be extra cautious of there actions and body language to others. The lack of total acknowledgment from anyone other then my server Danny made us feel very out of place. Thanks again Danny, I know we didnt voice it to you while we were there. Because you made uo for it sir, and thank you.

Went for Sunday brunch. I had the Crab Benedetto which I thought was good and my husband had the crab cakes which he said weren’t the best. I have heard that there are lots of good things on the brunch and regular menu there though!! I will say the best part about the brunch was the $12 endless mimosas! Can’t beat that deal!

The brunch was amazing! $12 all you can drink mimosas from 11-3 with an Amazing live Jazz band! AND the crab cakes and Bennys were perfectly prepared.

This is a wonderful Italian Classic Restaurant (formally Ginas I think). We arrived a few minutes before sunset and were not disappointed! The food, the service and the company was spot on! We havent been in a while, but that will change. Good Jod Guys!!

Definitely going back in the future. The place is beautiful and if you eat outside you can get a view of the lake. The food is great and in the medium price range. The menu was a little limited but theres still enough to find something you like unless youre a very picky eater.

Just ate a delicious dinner. Would definitely recommend this to those unfamiliar with the area, out of state, and those just traveling thru. A very good spot to eat at..if a family is sick of the restaurants right outside of Disney. Or what not. Very good time to eat is when the crowds is/are thin and not too loud.

This is my go to for a meal in Cranes Roost. Outside of some more quick in and out fast food type stuff you dont have many options. Cafe Murano isnt the cheapest option but you really do get your moneys worth. Service was excellent the food was great. I recommend this place to just about everyone, its great place for a date in the evening and it makes a solid lunch spot during the day with a great view of the park.

Excellent ! .. try the prosciutto arugula and truffle oil pizza. We had that pizza, the rib eye steak special and the crabcakes. Got a free bottle of house wine with our two entrees. I cant remember our servers name, but she was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing, but she is the reason I am giving five stars.

The food was okay. I found the red sauce too acidic. The service though was fabulous. Our waiter, Kai went above and beyond. He was very attentive, polite and kind. Kudos to Kai.

We made reservations for Valentines Day last week. We were told that the only open space was on the patio. There was also the promise of heaters and an enclosed awning if needed. When we arrived they were out of propane AND our table was no where near the promised enclosure. We were VERY cold and not able to enjoy our special night. Extremely poor management.

We always make a reservation. The food is fantastic and the service is good. You can sit in the dining area or near the stage. The music is always fun. Walk the lake when you are done for a perfect evening.

The food was good and the ambiance was great. I ordered the Chicken Pizzaiola and my husband ordered the Veal Parmesan. We ordered scallops as an appetizer and they were delicious. Our server Nick was great, we will definitely be back!
