Delightful and great value... fresh air and vistas

We eat here regularly as we live in the area. However, last week, my daughter had a wedding. We catered from another large restaurant chain (mistake), and realized a couple days before the wedding that we forgot a dish for the vegans. So, I called last minute and explained my dilemma to the owner. He said dont worry, this is what we do. It sure is!!!!!! Their pasta primavera blew every other dish we had catered out of the water. It was AMAZING!!! And......it was even better the next two days. I also got a couple appetizer plates for the crowd and they were inhaled. This is a great restaurant with an amazing family that owns and runs it. Reminds me and my husband of Sicily. Thank you for throwing it all together last minute.

Divine and amazing dishes. I had the butternut pumpkin soup with suttle notes of leek, eggplant stuffed with ricotta cheese. This morning I could make that 40 minute drive again to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and food. The waitstaff top notch.

Headed up to Alpine on Friday night for date night... Mediterraneo did not mess around and was amazing!! Make sure to order the amazing artichoke appetizer... worth every penny!!! I had the corkscrew pasta with ragu sauce and ricotta.... So so good!! Rich, creamy, hint of sweet... It hit the spot!! Hubby had the amazing lasagna!!! We ended with Tiramisu which was fabulous!!!Lots of outdoor seating and great service!!! So nice to feel normal!!

The best Italian food I’ve had in San Diego! The service is always fantastic and the atmosphere is perfection. The pizza dough is phenomenal! Salads... excellent!

The food is fresh and delicious. My spinach ravioli was home made, no frozen nastiness. Im a picky NYC girl when it comes to my food, especially Italian. We will definitely be coming back. The staff are very attentive and professional. Absolutely recommend!

Staff is very friendly, clean, respects social distancing procedures. I forgot the name of our waitress but she was amazing and very knowledgeable on some drinks that were not on the menu but she made it for us. Definitely going back.

Really good place with the nicest stuff I’ve ever seen! I love their pizza and tiramisu taste like real Italy. This is family restaurant and the whole family works together. They are really friendly and even congrats my friend on her birthday.

I ordered what was supposed to be a salad but all I got was literally just lettuce thats it.

I dine in this place a lot! This is my favorite spot to eat. I visit this spot many times. The cooking is of high quality, the crew is professional and the prices are reasonable. I like being in this place over a nice meal.

The place reminds me of a 3 year tour I did in Italy with the Navy. With the wine, lighting and decorating, I can almost imagine myself at my first duty station.Food is ridiculously tasty too. The garlic knots that show up in the bread bowl are amazing, get those before your friends do. Havent had a bad meal there and has quickly became a favorite place of mine.

Glad to see carpaccio on the menu, traditional with beef or from salmon. After the 4 mile hike I opted for a pasta dish with the those ragout. Good hearty meal, I am sure the more fancy Italian dishes like Chicken Marsala taste delicious. May be next time! Dog and kids friendly! Great and fast service even way after lunch time shortly past 2. We ended our meal with espresso served with an Italian cookie. I would have given 5 star if the pasta would have been home made. Great draft Beer selection and wine selection.

First time visit. Food was great however service was a little slow, but we went on a Friday night and it was busy we will have to try again on a different night. Recommended to family and friends regardless.

Im from the tri-state area and this restaurant can compete with the best of them. Food and service was excellent and I had a couple of fussy people in our party of 12 and they prepared their meals exactly the way they asked. Would definitely go back next time Im on the West Coast.

Good food!

Really great food and service. Lots of unique dishes, this place has a 5 star menu. We take vegetarian and vegan friends when they visit. One vegetarian friend was still talking about his meal here weeks later. Lots of choices for us carnivores also, seafood, chicken, beef, lamb and pasta.

Charming and romantic dim lit interior, cozy outdoor seating. The food was stellar, house wine was impressive, service was fantastic. Great menu for Italian food lovers, daily specials were phenomenal and the desserts and coffee are worth splurging on the last course. Cant wait to go back for date night!

The food and service were perfect!Our waitress went above and beyond to make sure our toddler enjoyed her visit.The food was delicious, I would recommend trying a special but they have great pasta as well.The prices were a tad expensive but well worth the quality of food.Will definitely be back!

The food is amazing!!! Nice to be able to eat great quality food they know what they are doing that is for sure. The staff is on point very good customer service.

Took forever to get our food. Just to get a drink at the bar (an iced tea) took over 15 minutes. We waited another 15 to get our tab. Our check had other peoples dinner order on it. With all that being said, I can understand the wait and all that, but the food was okay. Wasnt worth the price and the hassle to get mediocre food.

Went to the sports bar arcade portion of here for first time, think this part is newer. Good service and appetizers nice set up of big screen TVs. Not sure how will be on a busy day but will certainky come back to watch a game and enjoy a cold beer and some food.

Nothing more than average. Way too expensive. You have no idea how bad your food is. Anyone saying the food is good have not been to Italy. Pretty sure the food is frozen.

Very friendly staff and extremely delicious food. They also have a fairly extensive drink selection: wines, beer and cocktails. I had the Black Martini and it was great!

Overpriced $10 a drink , its an Alpine restaurant bar not the gaslamp or hotel so ease up on the high prices probably why i was the only customer at 8 pm at night

We always experience great service and consistently delicious food. Their specials are always amazing, but its hard to stray from the basics on the menu because they are also just so good. Even the most basic tomato sauce is perfectly tart and you can tell the ingredients are incredibly fresh. The osso bucco and veal parmigiana are favorites, as is the old standby of spaghetti and meatballs. We love to bring our whole family here, both sophisticated and simple palates can find something they love!

The food is fantastic. The people are always friendly and helpful, too. One of my favorite places to eat.

I have eaten there several times, each time the appetizer and drinks were fantastic and the dinner menu is great in size and consistency. The price is well worth the fast friendly service and and excellent taste that is consistent in taste each time.

Anna Maria and her staff are amazing! The Fettuccine Alfredo was to die for, and the homemade noodles are exquisite! I also had the raspberry cheesecake and it was phenomenal as well!! Over all, this is a restaurant you dont want to miss!!!!!

I have been living in Alpine for five years, tonight was the first time eating here. In my opinion, this was the classiest and coziest restaurant. I definitely will be coming back very soon.

Excellent service, we went for valantines and one of the owners served our table personally with very good suggestions on food. The food is great and not expensive if you look at the size of the plate.

We needed a good meal FAST. We asked the hostess (owner) if we could be out of there in 20 minutes and she said yes. We had fried calamari and an awesome sausage pizza...with wine, and we WERE out in 20Awesome place...wish we could have spent more time

Wonderful little place. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and great food. I had their stuffed calamari with capelini. It was one of the best Italian dishes I have had. Their sangria is delicious.

Husband and wife run the front of the house, mother cooks. Hearty, delicious Italian cooking. Dont miss the artichoke appetizer. Even the bread and rosemary butter are wonderful. $11 for a huge plate of smoked salmon? Very reasonable prices. Sometimes theyre a little slow with service, but otherwise a great restaurant.

We stopped here on our way back to Tucson on a whim. We were hungry and we had the seafood pasta specials. It was AMAZING! We sat on the patio as the sun was setting. Cant beat that!

My family and I went to this bistro Christmas Eve, we ordered AllaPera salads, and soup, the salads were terrible, only 3 grapes, 2 tiny slivers of tomato, and 2 thin slices of pear, walnuts the same, and the soup bowls were not even half full, I ordered avocado go my salad, and it was a small piece that was brown not fresh at all, I sent my salad back! We will not be going back, We have been here several times, and it seems to be going down hill, with food and service! Prices are too high as well.

I enjoyed the:Melenzane Ripiene 10.50Eggplant rolled with ricotta cheese, marjoran, parmesan and topped with fresh cherry tomatoes.Tropicale 8.75Baby arugula, avocado, hearts of palm, tomatoes, tossed with lemon – olive oil dressing.Zuppa Del Giorno 7.50Soup of the day, a tasty lentil soup that alone could have been lunch all by itself.A glass of house Pinot Grigio (Remember it was an occasional treat!)**The lunch splurge was enjoyed twice with the what I couldn’t finish**!! Sorry, forgot to take pic’s, couldn’t wait to dig it!
