The organisation is doing a great job taking care of the animals! Im grateful for them. The tour is guided and it takes around an hour and a half. This is good because Im not wandering around like I will at a zoo. You can get to see the animals quite close and safe. They also offer a cabin for rent so you can enjoy the safari experience. Small kids like mine got bored pretty quickly unfortunately. They enjoyed playing in the dirt instead.

Ive been spending a lot of time here, and ive seen a lot of tours go through and a lot of smiles on peoples faces.I have not seen the employees here be anything but kind and compassionate. The animals are given the respect they deserve here, its a beautiful place to come visit. Beautiful location as well, in the rolling hills of east county, oak groves etc.

My family and I visited on Saturday September 19th. Boy was it hot out! The group we were in was quite large, so we had to wear masks the whole time, which made the heat worse :( Coming from Chicago, I did not understand how hot desert heat is! Most of the animals came out, but maybe if the group was smaller, more would have come out. I would like to return on a weekday with much less people. The bathrooms are nice and air conditioned. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and it was amazing to learn about all the animals and their stories. We did not upgrade to feeding an animal, but you get to watch those who did do it quite close, so I was ok with that. My family and I agree that it was a wonderful trip - very cool to learn about all these animals and to see them up close. They are doing Gods work here, giving these animals a life of luxury like they deserve.

Amazing place to go and see! I cannot say enough good things about, Lions, Tigers & Bears. The animals are well cared for, the people work hard to care for all the animals, and everyone is so nice at the sanctuary. Our tour was educational as well as fun. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and told us about the animals and how they came to be there. I was so excited to be able to get up close to the beautiful big cats and bears. I would definitely recommend everyone to go visit...you wont be disappointed!Thank you Bobbi for making this place for these animals, and making it available for others to see. If the world had more people like you in it, we would have a lot less animals in need of our help.

All round excellent experience. You are able to get up really close to the animals and if you purchase a feeding ticket feed one of the animals of your choosing. A few tips, they do a raffle before the tour starts to feed an animal so if you have not purchased a feeding ticket, you can buy a raffle ticket for just $5. Also, they sell annual pass memberships at the end of the trip for 50% off. Given the great work they do here, your money will be well spent!

My husband and I were very impressed with this place. The animals are well taken care of and I was amazed at how close we were able to get to the animals. Most of the animals are used to people and come right up to the fence in order to get treats. This sanctuary does a great job of educating the people on the exploitation of these poor creatures. It is well worth the money and your time to go visit this sanctuary.

I love bears and big cats, but often when I go to so-called sanctuaries I learn they are just glorified zoos. This place, though, is an actual sanctuary with the highest accreditation. So if you want to go see these majestic animals and also help rather than hurt them, this is the place for it.

A must see nonprofit organization. Large open sanctuary with animals that are well cared for. The volunteers are so dedicated & love their roles. Stories of how the owners are trying to save lives of the abused. They count on folks to support them with food, supplies, volunteering & money to keep this sanctuary running. Clean, well organized and informative. You can pay extra to feed the animals, stay overnight at their cabin, have a wedding, party or event. All money goes to support this establishment; they receive no federal funding therefore count on us for help.

My office got me a behind the scenes experience for Christmas. I cannot say how greatful I am to the team for this experience. The LTB staff was all wonderful and that is and understatement. But to see these amazing creatures that close and even feed them all is something that we will never forget. It is a bit pricey, but totally expected for a conservation center that my Fish&Game uncle never heard problems about. Top notch all around. Highly recommended at every level.Pics are of LTB played by Bakari, Maverick, and Albert. And no, Im not a volunteer or something. They made enough impact that we will always remember those names.PS - Meet Tabu! You want to know why these wild animals are not pets? She WILL remind you. Amazing tiger and my personal favorite!

The animals are amazing. What this organization is doing is fantastic. Where i feel they are missing the boat is the comfort of those who come to visit and support the sanctuary. It was 95 degrees and we are sitting in the hot sun with no shade watching a video then walking and standing at many enclosures with no shade. It may be a thought to erect some shaded areas and benches at the important stops. Thereby, causing people to return, tell a friend and continue to bring in revenue.

This place is definitely San Diego Countys best kept secret. I had heard of Lions and Tigers and Bears occasionally on the news but unless you actually go out to see it you do not get the full picture of what a beautiful and amazing place this is. Gorgeous animals in beautiful, natural enclosures out in the rolling woodsy hills of Alpine.Very educational too for people to learn about how widespread animal trafficking is and its devastating consequences for the animals. For myself at least, it made me feel good that the money my family and I spent there goes directly to giving these animals a wonderful place to live out the rest of their lives after everything theyve been through. The story of how the owner, Bobbi Brinks, answered this calling to help these animals is the most amazing thing of all. I wish someone would make a movie about her life and about the various stories of all the animals she has saved.

This place is unbelievably amazing. A group of us went as a birthday present for my mil. Not only are they helping countless animals who were rescued from shady traveling circus groups, smugglers, breeders, and home owners. Almost everyone who works here is a volunteer which speaks volumes about the work theyre doing. If you buy certain packages you actually get to feed one of the animals. They trek you about the history of the animals, the situation with wild animals inn this country and throughout the world, and what people can do to help. Please visit. Please educate yourselves. Please donate to hep save more of these amazing animals. And please, please, please stop visiting or supporting dishonest and horrific roadside zoos where you can pet baby tigers (lions, bears, etc.) because your money and patronage helps fund their abuse of animals. And please (for the live of all things holy) do NOT buy a wild animal as a pet. Youd think that would be common sense but apparently not. This place is amazing for young and old, and I cant recommend it enough.

My friend Debbie Covely and I. Visited Lions Tigers and Bears on May 23, 2019. It had rained previously so there was mud but such is life. The Sanctuary is very clean and all the animals are well cared for. They have an on-site hospital and a vet comes as needed to care for the animals. This place is not a only a safe haven for the recovered (saved) wild animals, but it becomes their home until death. The LT&B’s are well cared for and we paid to feed the BIG CATS. Great place to visit with kids and for all animal lovers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This exotic animal rescue gives abused and mistreated big cats and bears a safe and beautiful forever home. There is no direct human contact with the animals for their safety and yours. You can buy a package that allows you to feed an animal with a fork on a long pole. I learned a lot about how each animal came to be there and also about the abusive animal trade that is putting exotic animals in terrible living conditions and people in danger. Come see the animals, hear their stories and support L.T.Bs efforts to expand their habitat to rescue more animals in need of help. Visit their gift shop where you can buy t-shirts and other items to support the L.T.B rescue. The owner Bobby is doing an amazing job advocating and educating people on animal rights and abuse taking place in our country and all over the world. I don’t normally leave comments, but I was amazed at how knowledgeable Brian (Sanctuary Keeper) is and how much passion and dedication he has. It was very informative and moving. I had no idea the animal slave trade was a thing! My wife and I learned so much about what this place is doing to give the cats and bears a great place to live, especially since they’ve come from small areas of living (in extremely small cages, horrible conditions and greed driven abusive owners). I respect everyone who works at “Lions, Tigers and Bears” and I’m thankful for meeting some of the staff. They have wonderful personalities and you can FEEL the passion they have for the job, it’s not just a “9-5pm” and this is a PLUS in my books, I’m very particular about that.We bought tickets and got a little mixed up with booking, but they were very accommodating towards our situation, even though we weren’t officially booked (with 5mins before group tour). I can not remember her name but THANK YOU for your speedy booking process, getting everything straightened out and not turning us away for another appointment/day. We are forever grateful!!But overall, this place is amazing. If you want to meet great people, learn the history of each family group of cats, bears, the starting point of the sanctuary and purpose, you have to check it out. It was very heart moving. One of the Lion’s we fed was BIG! I’ve never been that close to a lion before, let alone that size! “Lions, Tigers and Bears” have the best security practices and measures in place so the Animals can be their natural selves and humans are protected from potential danger. There isn’t enough space within the review form, for the words I have to expressed. I promise you, YOU WILL NOT be disappointed touring this place.Thank you Bobbi Brink and the LTB company!

A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. The staff and volunteers here needs an inservice on customer service. From our initial interaction with the staff telling us where to park till the end, it was 100% clear that the staff doesnt care about the people who take the time to visit but they do care about your money.I brought my 10 year old daughter here on her birthday. She was even wearing a birthday girl badge. Not a single staff member said happy birthday or even bothered to interact with her. The graphic animal trade videos are not appropriate for children. The staff response to me covering my daughters eyes during the video These arent even the worse pictures. They wont let anyone under 18 years old feed an animal which I understand why, but come up with some kind of interaction for kids. Both myself and my daughter left feeling more aware of the wild life animal trade issues but also profoundly disappointed with our visit. Ive been to other licensed sanctuaries and had a much better visit because the staff showed they cared both for the animals and for those who come to visit.
