We had another great experience at Westwires Recording Studio this year!If I consider what would be the most important elements in a studio recording project, I think of the acoustic quality of the space, the recording equipment, the and mastering process (software and hardware). However, none of those things is of very much use without someone with the knowledge and ability to do the hard work of creating an excellent finished product. Wayne Becker has this knowledge and ability. It is clear from the moment you come into the studio that Wayne has extensive experience recording a broad range of artists at all levels of the industry (local groups, like ours, to internationally recognized performers). The impressive array of gear in the studio is impossible to overlook. Wayne can tell you what everything is for, and why we might want to choose this over that, etc.. However, there is one other element that is perhaps more important than the rest. Wayne is easy to work with! I feel that he made our recording better as part of a collaborative process. He made thoughtful and helpful suggestions about effective ways to achieve our goals in the studio. (He also seems to get a great deal of pleasure out of his work, which makes the process much more enjoyable). Without his input and expertise, we would not have been as happy with our project. I look to Wayne as a trusted adviser, and I eagerly look forward to our next opportunity to work with him at Westwires.Thanks, Wayne!

I worked with Wayne at Westwires Recording on several albums as a singer/songwriter and my whole experience with him from start to finish was absolutely incredible!! He’s extremely talented as an engineer, great with constructing moving and solid mixes, and he has a true love of production that spills out beautifully into everything he does. During vocal tracking he was right there with me the whole time supporting me and helping me get through... he always had amazing little harmony suggestions too and I loved it all! He made me feel at ease in the studio and there was always such a great level of excitement for the work that was being created... it’s hugely inspiring to work with someone so positive as Wayne. Amazing experience with Wayne at Westwires! This was my first recording and Wayne was very kind and accommodating. Also, he was flexible for me to go in on a Sunday for a few hours to get the recording done. Not only that, I called him on a Sunday about a problem I was having with my Audio and he took care of it within minutes!!! I would highly recommend Westwires and will surely be back!
