Golfed today 11:06 tee time. Wow. Fairways horrible. Cart paths horrible. Sand traps spotty at best. Greens as always top notch. I can see this placed being developed for houses/townhouses. It needs so much work. Wont go back for $50 plus anytime soon. Hopefully the wedding venue can make money to spend on the course.
I’m currently out on the course. Haven’t been here in a few years. It doesn’t look like anything has been cut in weeks. The greens are rolling about 7 and are just below normal fairway height. Bugs are everywhere probably from all the wet wilt and water laying in the “fairways.” It’s basically a pasture. Probably will be houses shortly. Don’t waste your money.
First time there. Little bit of everything. Love 18 par 3 over water. Other then that the cart paths are really really rough. Couple of fairways got big dirt patches, greens play well.
The turf at inronlakes is definitely worn, but its still a great tire field for ️

Iron Lakes is an OK course with mediocre maintenance. The holes in the greens seem poorly cut and seldom moved. $52 is steep for this course, and outrageous with no raincheck policy (like today).
Greens were aereated few days ago, I guess all Sandy like putting on a pegboard but besides that and being overpriced $41 for weekday it was fun better shape than the last time I played it and whats his name who runs the place in the wheelchair should be a little more civil

Dear Bruce Young Sr.,On behalf of the entire Gallagher family, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Iron Lakes Country Club for making the 40th anniversary of Bernie Gallagher Memorial Golf Tournament a great success this year. Your family and entire staff did an incredible job with the coordination, the attention to detail, and all the help they gave us throughout the weekend. The course was in great shape, the dinner was excellent. The banquet went off without a hitch, and the pro shop was on top of everything!As you know this tournament means a lot to my family and me. It is an opportunity to get together once a year with family and friends. It enables us to continue our annual scholarship fund at Bethlehem Catholic High School, but most importantly, it allows us to keep our dad’s memory alive, 40 years after losing him.The highlight of this year’s tournament is something I will never forget. Unaware to me, the Iron Lakes staff had a flag made with our dad’s tournament logo on it, flying next to the American flag. It meant so much to us because our dad left Bethlehem Catholic High School to fight in World War II and later the Korean Conflict. He truly was our hero and to see these flags flying together to honor him; not only brought a tear to my eye,But also truly made this year’s tournament extra special.Again Bruce... Ive been scheduling our family golf tournament at IRCC for 15 years and will keep coming back. Course is usually in very good shape, timely cart girls, excellent pub food, and all reasonably priced. Coming in from out of town and dont want to tow clubs. They have rentals. BTW Bruce and Thor are true gentlemen. See you in July 2020.
Course is great. Challenging but fun, a local favorite. Every time I play here the greens are rolling. The course offers many decisions off the tee, every club has to be utilized. Some holes offer tough elevation changes and water hazards. #18 is a fun par 3 completely over water- super fun and nerve-wrecking to finish off the round with a good score. With all the rain we received the past two years, management does a fantastic job with the course and flooding issues. Whether you are walking or riding it will offer you a fun round of golf.Only negatives I have on the course is the lack of a close practice facility to warm up. They have one, but it is a mile north on the road. Also, when playing with friends, we noticed some of the womens tees werent in the best of shape. Uneven/Not Level and some were not as well manicured.

I really wanted to like it here—took out a range membership to get a feel for the place. Well today is October 15th 68 degrees and the range is closed for the season. The head golf pro Thor has been awesome when I play at the course very friendly and wants the round to go above expectations but from the operations standpoint I’ll have to take a pass on any future consideration of a golf or range membership—it’s a shame grass practice tees are a bonus and they aren’t being used to their potential. I really dislike paying full price and getting 2/3 the product. So 2 stars for the people making the decisions about this facility.
We had our wedding at Iron Lakes this past Oct. The place is beautiful with the water and scenery. Deb went above and beyond to make sure everything went as planned and everything was set up the way we wanted. They offered shuttles to those that needed a ride from the parking lot to the wedding location. The food was delicious. Nothing is ever perfect, but they made sure it was as perfect as possible. We appreciate it. Thank you!!!!
Surprisingly this place is in great shape this year. I have always enjoyed the layout but in years past the course conditions left much to be desired. No more!
Thanksgiving Feast was excellent. Food prepared well!! Service was great! Definitely would do it again!

Had a rare rainless, beautiful day for the tournament. The course was in good shape considering all of the rain that we have had. Good food in the banquet hall. Nice course.

Nice guy in the club house. After that it was downhill. Course is sub par at best. The ranger called us out for playing from the Blue tees (a little over 6,000 yards from the blues), people behind us were in no hurry, and we got harrased about slow play. Will not be going back.
We were there for youth soccer games under the dome. Very nice facility for indoor games but short on amenities, like a snack bar and limited rest rooms.
Fun course, a couple tricky greens, but I did hit most of the clubs in my bag...

Beautiful facility but on a private party, drinks were too expensive. The salmon was dry and the beef was dry and bland. I expected more.
Decent crispy chicken sandwich and fries. A little pricey for paper plates and cups. Service at the counter was so so. Guy either didnt hear part of the order or forgot it. Place was clean but lacked any real personality or charachter......
The people here were so nice and had everything prepared for us when group arrived for a big brunch. They were so understanding and had everything perfect. The food that they prepared was absolutely delicious as well and they selection was not small either.
Iron Lakes was in good shape. Greens were to slow and the tee boxes could use sime work. Overall the course was fun to play
Wish they would dress the course up more. Sand traps need real sand and would like to see nicer cart paths around the tees and greens.

The staff is great. Very accommodating. The course still had a little damage from all the rain, but they were working on it. Over all, a great day.

Great course for most skill levels. Lots of elevation changes, especially on the front nine, so use a cart if you can. More holes with water than most courses in the area. I just wish their driving range wasn’t a mile down the road.
Great course to play, folks in clubhouse are lots of fun. For those looking for the ultimate adventure, be sure to tell the bartender that El Diablo sent you and the liquid shall floweth....
The course has holes the go from grip it and rip it to finesse placement shots. The greens in excellent condition and go from gentle to devilishly contoured. Water, flat, and elevation changes across the 18. Afterward the Hickory Room for a Scotch. I find the course fun and the people great to be around.
We had our wedding at Iron Lakes in June 2017! Deb and her staff were wonderful to work with! They helped plan each detail! Iron Lakes had beautiful spots for amazing pictures and the Lakeview Ballroom overlooking the lake is breathtaking. All our guests raved about the food and had a wonderful time! We made the right choice having our special day at Iron Lakes Country Club!!

I meet there every Wednesday morning for BNI meetings. Its very nice.I also golf there from time to time and its a nice course to play on.

This course gets better and better every year. Fairways and greens are superb. It has a very a fun layout with raised tee boxes and raised greens. 2 par 3s go across lakes. There are fun holes you can really go after to get a birdie or eagle and then some holes where you will be happy with a bogey. It is a great course for all levels.
Nice course. The womens tees were consistently in bad shape with little grass that was not a result of all the recent rain.
Ive been here twice The Handicap starter is very rude an arrogant. Forced me to play in a foursome after telling him 3 times i Did not want to the second time he zipped all the way to hole 9forced me to play the front 9 twice claiming they were to busy and there was only two golfers on the course i would much rather just play bethlehem course with friendly staff and better greens
Iron lakes is a very nice venue for hosting a party or a wedding.
Hole 17 is my favorite, make sure you stop by and say hi to the current golf pro thor... He is really nice! Very pleased with course overall.
Challenging course. A little confusing to navigate but tough layout with fast greens. Course was in great shape
I would not recommend this establishment for proms! They had it in too small a room, the kids were crammed and really no room to move around , too small a dance floor. The food was served luke warm at best, small portions & no seconds. The deserts were prepackaged Chips Ahoy etc. The music awful. They waited a painfully long time for everything. The girls were very disappointed and upset because the whole experience was awful.

Went there for a company party. The place was decorated really nicely and we had a delicious five course meal. The weather did not lend itself to golfing but definitely would go back.

Whether its on the golf course or at their recently updated wedding venue Iron Lakes CC is always a great place to seal the deal.
Poor service and even worse management. Approached the owner in a reasonable manner and was told to shut up. Asked for silverware and was told to go back to my table. Typical Allentown garbage, but was hoping for something better. Zero proffesionalisn and zero care for customers.
