They have so many materials & that was great, I’d give that five stars. As for customer service, I walked in, there were about four or five people behind the counter, no one comes to ask if I needed help. Also, the cashier , Alex, I believe was his name wasn’t the most pleasant. I was so excited to find a store in PA, but after this visit, I’m not sure I’d want to come back.

Love Blick! Called ahead to see if they had supplies that my brother needed for school and they were very helpful and nice. Would definitely make the trip to go back if we ever need more at supplies

They have a good selection of just about everything you could want art-wise, ranging from kid stuff to super serious. Staff is very helpful. I use their online store often too.

I loved going to Blick Art because I felt safe. The employees were wiping surfaces down. While I was going in a man was ahead of me but he didnt have a mask. As Im getting closer I overheard the employee saying to the man, they do break, while with a mask for him in her hand. It seems his own mask had broken. Im guessing he called the store and the employee handed him a disposable mask. I felt they were all doing their part in the stop and spread of the virus.

As an excellently managed store, this particular location is always well-stocked with the highest quality of supplies, with kind and helpful employees that always go above and beyond. My kids and I especially adore the free Saturday craft workshops that they hold, which allows us to experiment with new materials. I’m continually impressed with my shopping experience, and it keeps me coming back rather than ordering online. Thanks, Allentown Blick crew!

Trash service. Says they are open online, so I call to confirm, but their operating system runs in a loop and doesn’t actually connect you with a store associate. Every time you select to talk to an associate with option #1 they just redial the line and you hear the list of options again & again! So I drive out there assuming they are open, but they aren’t (even though online they are open) & to make matters more incoherent they have a sign up stating they are only open for call-in orders... which one can’t make because again you can’t get a hold of an associate! Will NEVER come here, not with that kind of costumer service...

All employees are always so helpful and knowledgeable. I was looking for a specialty item that was hard to find. No one else had it. But I went to Dick Blick and the new manager with long black hair Practically bent over backwards to find what I needed. If they don’t have something they will order it for you.

This was my first time visiting this store, and I was disappointed. Everything was very overpriced, and there were many more novelty items than quality art products. Definitely offers a few more specially items than Michaels or A.C. Moore, but the high prices just arent worth it. The store was also very dimly lit and therefore not very inviting. The staff seemed pleasant, but I did not make a purchase because I found nothing worth the tag price.

They have a wide variety of art supplies. They also offer some of the higher end products that are hard to find in this area.If youre looking for inexpensive art supplies for your toddler, this isnt the first store Id recommend. They do have stuff for little ones, but it strikes me more of an art store for older students and adults. That being said, I wouldnt rule then out as a supply for your young childs art requirements.The staff are very helpful and friendly, and most of all, they are knowledgeable about their products. Worth checking out.

I needed clay. Real clay, not some children appreciate substitute. This is where you find it and other Real art supplies. I wish they had a more extensive inventory, but they have almost everything you could want.

I talked to some of my classmates today and it sounds like Im not the only one that has issues with the girl that has blond curly hair. With that being said though, the manager is extremely nice and so are most of the employees. I really like the shorter guy with black hair. He typically works evenings. I will continue to come to this location because it is the closest to me. The supplies are good too. They can be a little pricey, but I feel it is worth it.

The store was very clean and the lady who helped us was super sweet and helpful! She made sure my room mate and i both got what we needed on our limited college budgets. Most things here are very expensive but the products they sell are high quality. The one stop shop for every artists (and artists in training) needs!

They were so helpful when I was there right before Christmas. The gentleman helped me find water brushes for watercolour colored pencils. I also picked his brain about a stocking stuffer, which was a dinosaur puzzle. Everybody loved what I got them from here. Great gift stop if you want something unique.

Friendly staff and a good selection of art materials. The location in Philadelphia has a bit more brands and varieties but this Blick has a lot of good supplies and is the best art supply store in Allentown.

They have an excellent supply of materials from beginner level to advance. The prices are standard but they offer amazing deals from time to time. They are definitely five star in the material selection and five star in the quality. The staff at times is great but other times leave a bit to be desired.

The absolute, very BEST art supply store in the area. Extremely large variety of art products in all mediums, as well as craft supplies. Price are the best in the area too, with frequent sales.

I never heard of blicks till I watched Cricflix on YouTube so I went to try it out . The employees are so nice and very helpful too. Now, its one of my go to stores to get my art supplies.

They should have a defibrillator at the store for when you see the prices, but other then that its a nice place with kind and helpful people.

Art supply store with knowledgeable and helpful staff. You can get anything from entry level oil paints, kids crayons etc up to professional artist watercolors, gouache, airbrush supplies. Great selection of mediums, canvases and art boards.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They carry a lot of items in the store, but not everything that is available in the catalog. I was a bit disappointed in that they did not carry a full selection of Blick brand construction paper. Instead they only had the high priced construction paper. Best to call ahead to make sure the items you want are actually in the store.

Could spend hours in an art store like this, just looking at all of the great supplies. Also pretty much the only true art supply store in northeast PA. Although the one time I took the drive they didnt have the 48 color Prismacolor pencils that i wanted, so I ended up ordering online. Anyway its a great store and just wish it was closer to me.

Being in a place with this much art paraphernalia puts you in an elevated state of consciousness.

Walking in was wonderful! As an artist this place was a dream! My husband took me here for my Christmas present. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions, and were not pushy even with their own brand name materials. The store was set up nicely, everything was easy to find, and there were some good sales going on. I wish it was closer to where I live! A.C. Moore might lose some of my business. : ) Not to denigrate that store, but there were some real art supplies at Blick that I could never get at A.C. Moore, and reasonably priced.

Awesome to go to a brick and mortar Dick Blick. Not a craft store, but an art supply store. They also sell artsy *stuff* like a pad of paper that looks like a stick of butter or a pencil with a ruler printed on the side or Frida change purse. Have bought manual pencil sharpeners here and they last forever. Also Jacquard dyes for the best tie dye.

They have a great selection of various art supplies but it can be a bit pricey and you can usually find the stuff for cheaper online. They do sell a lot of things separately vs in sets though if you just need to replace a pencil or kneaded rubber or something like that. Its also a good place to discover materials you didnt know existed haha.

They have everything Ive ever needed! Its organized and the store is fully stocked.

This place has everything that the chain stores (ac Moore / Michael’s) doesn’t. This is the only place in the Lehigh Valley that has yupo paper (trust me, I checked). And their separate alcohol inks are actually cheaper than Amazons. This place is for real artist and I love that about it.

They are always amazing and helpful

Enormous amount of materials, very helpful and knowledgeable employees. It does tend to be a tad expensive. If you need a special type of product I would get it here, however, if youre looking for simple arts and craft stuff,(like crayons, construction paper, etc...), go to your basic Walmart.
