Just had the worst experience ever! I went to the store because my daughter just became a daisy. When I went in I was told I had to purchase a list of items for her uniform and that I would pay $48. I only wanted to purchase the vest and the troop number but I was told that I could not do that and that I need to apply for financial aid. Needless to say I left the store upset and without purchasing anything. I went on the Girl Scout website and used the online store to purchase a vest and the troop number. I called this store back and told her I only wanted to purchase the troop number and vest and she said I could do that in the store so I asked her why I was shamed for trying to just buy a few items today and she said I had to buy everything or my daughter could not wear the vest. I told her I only wanted to purchase a few things at a time and then she got mad at me and I asked her for her name and she hung up on me! I am no longer sure I want my daughter in an organization where people act this way!

You have a troop in McKinney Tx today that was selling cookies out of the back of there silver van in front of Bill Smiths cafe literally holding the door shut for people not buying cookies. We had already bought cookies from other troops and the PARENTS were allowing this kind of behavior. We were not the only people they were holding the door shut on. I would report the troop but don’t have there info. So here is the report this kind of behavior is uncalled for.

Your hours are terrible. How are working parents supposed to come in with daughters when you arent ever open during time I would have off?

When traveling out of state, I enjoy stopping by local Girl Scout Councils to collect their council patches. When visiting the Girl Scouts of Northeast Council Shop - we were welcomed with open doors, kind smile, and a warm hello. It is refreshing to see that brick and mortar stores still exist in other councils.

Sarge is welcoming and knowledgeable. I like to visit GS offices and shops, purchase a council patch, while Im on vacation. This shop didnt disappoint. Keep up the great work.

As a busy working Mom and Brownie Leader I’ve found them to be helpful when I come to their store. They’ve offered to hold Badges we need so I have time to come get them. They have a meeting room you can reserve and use.

By phone and in person, this is my shop of choice when I need girl scout materials. They have never let me down, the staff truely embody being a sister to every girl scout or a brother as the case may be, Sarge. Thanks!

The lady working there didnt seem to care about the kids and just seemed angry in general. She did help some, when asked.As expected, it is over priced and the hours they are open make it difficult for working parents to get there.
