Best staff. Managers to the ticket window were so awesome. First movie since February and we will be back. We did the movie room rental and it was awesome. Super clean and I felt very safe. Thanks guys for everything!! Food was fresh. They have everything you need.

First movie for us since Covid. Theater was very clean, well distanced, well marked, staff well prepared. No cash at concessions, cheaper concession prices since no refills allowed. Great system in place.

We rented a private theater experience for our daughter’s 8th birthday. In these COVID times, it was a wonderful option. We got to enjoy a movie with a limited group in a safe way. The staff was friendly and vigilant. One might say aggressively vigilante. Make sure to call several times and ask about every detail. BALLOONS of any kind are not welcome. One staff member in particular made sure that the one weighted balloon we had was removed post haste. He was quite aggressive and vigilant (as I stated) about assuring that it was removed. Even to the point of insinuating me to be a fibber. Details of our interaction are not expressly important. But he took his job of ensuring that no rogue balloon ended up in the ceiling extremely seriously. I can only imagine that all of his other duties are taken with the same voracity. All in all, we had a wonderful time and the balloon contraband sits happily in my daughter’s room.

My sister rented a theater for our family and friends to watch The Santa Claus. It was a whole lot of fun and a brilliant idea especially during this Pandemic.

Great mother & son day. Seats were cleaned and well distanced apart. Felt safe and enjoyed the movie in comfort!! Love the reclining seats.

This was my first time going post covid. Everything was clean. Everyone is wearing masks. I got popcorn and a bottle of water and everything was great. There are signs everywhere to keep distanced and they have wipes in front of every theater, so if you feel the need to be cleaner, then you are set.

We went there for a private viewing of Tenet. Theater is kept super clean. Star is Curtis courteous, Everyone is wearing masks . I highly recommend this location

Clean, not a lot of people right now (of course), concessions currently do not cost more than their weight in gold. A good 45 minutes of commercials past the start time though is going to keep me away after this. Also not sure if its just the sound mix of Tenet, but you couldnt understand the dialog in the movie because it was so muddled.

What happened to this place??? Both of our reclining seats did not work in the XD theater 15, plus there were two blown speakers. Used the mens room and two urinals and one sink were out of order.

Cinemark employees followed us around the building because we brought outside food into the lobby. Are you kidding me? As if we stole from them or were planning something malicious. Wow.

Im not a fan of reserved seating. Not even a little bit.Other than that, its a modern movie theater. Reclining seats with cup holders. The seats are big enough for big people. The picture quality is good. The sound is good. The snack bar is good. You can get ice cream here, too. And, the theaters have never not been cleaned upon my arrival. Decently friendly staff.

I was totally disappointed with my experience at Cinemark Allen 16. The theater has an overall dead feeling. To some degree I felt like I walked into the movie theater at the square from Back To The Future. There is a foundation outside the theater that is no longer functional. The pop corn tasted old and the employees that were there were not groomed. With the competition of other theatres around me, I will never return.

Although the service was not of the highest mark, the atmosphere was quite fantastic. If it weren’t for having to wait at the ticket-tearing booth for a few minutes before having to bring somebody to attention to help us, this establishment would’ve received full stars. The reclining seats were very comfortable, and even the small popcorn was a suitable amount for more than one person. Quite a good experience!

This is one of the best theaters in town. It may seem small when you walk in but they have all the amenities, especially since they have renovated. With the reclining seats, alcohol bar, and regular concessions you can’t go wrong coming here. I have never had an issue with any employee or manager and always enjoy my experience.

The service was excellent. The people there were very helpful and friendly. Nice to go to a place and the people are actually friendly and respectful. And by it being a Tuesday evening the price was really affordable.

We love this theater. There are actually two other theaters closer to us, but we will drive the extra 5 minutes to go to Cinemark Allen 16. Theater is clean, staff are friendly, and seats are comfortable.

It said clearly you can bring drinks to your seat and then they will tell you no drinks allowed inside you have to finish it outside. Its also not a lot of food option. Theres a better cinema just down the street called moviehouse eatery, dont waste your money here.

Great location and lots of show times here. I hadnt been since the assigned seating and reclining chairs and was a bit worried how that would work. It was very convenient! Didnt need to rush thru concessions or bathroom because I already had a spot. Always clean inside the theatre here too.

Never had a bad experience here. This is our go to theater. Popcorn always fresh and now has adult beverages now. Friendly staff is always helpful and the theaters are always clean.

Used to be such a nice experience but the service is HORRENDOUS now. They just hire people to be there these days. Went in line twice for concessions and the guy addresses me with “wassup” and he couldn’t remember anything I ordered after paying. 20 minutes later and 10 minutes after our showtime we finally get our pizza. We finally get into the movie and the movie is horrible and we try to just get refunds to see another movie and the manager Gabriella was just as bad as the concessions guy. “You go to a movie to see if you like it. Is what it is” we’ve been movie members for two years now and have spent hundreds at this location but this was just trash all around.

They have a theater meant just for kids, its marked separately on the showings. It has big bean bags on the floor in front of the screen and large squishy chairs. There is even an interactive wall outside the theater.

Im not a cinephile but I did work in movie theaters as a young adult and appreciate a clean and comfortable movie experience. Cinemark Allen has always delivered a great experience. I like the assigned seating a reclining loungers.

Upper management, PLEASE TRAIN LOWER MANAGEMENT ON CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! Not sure the name of the concession stand manager but he is absolutely the rudest individual Ive ever met who needs retrained on customer service.On Tuesday, December 23rd, I went to catch a 4:30pm movie and wandered in a line concession line that was for preorder only and didnt realize it because I was looking at the menu as I walked up. The employee left after serving the customer in front of me and never came back. Almost 10 minutes later the manager walked by and I asked if this line was open. He then said no, it clearly states it on the sign. I said she could have told me before she left. He then said its not our fault you didnt read before entering.The condescending tone of his voice the whole time is what got to me the most. I wanted to say some very foul things to him. A simple apology from the beginning would have made the difference. I will never step foot in that theater again

Theaters are clean and menu items are reasonably priced for a theater. I always opt for reserved seating, XD if possible. The extra few dollars is well worth it! Staff, mostly teenagers, are generally courteous. There is usually not a sense of urgency at the concessions, however, so be sure to give yourself an extra 10 minutes if you plan to grab a snack before the movie.

Fast service, clean theater and the reclining chairs now have swivel trays with the seat # on them. Easier to find your seat. Nice!

I would give it 5 stars, if they delivered food to your seats. It may not be fair for me to judge them that way, because that isnt who they are, but Ive become spoiled!! They now offer Pizza Hut pizzas. They are authentic, hot and gooey. The theaters are exceptionally clean, with no sticky floors. We just saw Rise of Skywalker. When the movie was over, there was no less than 7 people waiting for the theater to clear and holding brooms, mops, rags and a vacuum.

Great experience! Very comfortable reclining seats. They have a bar area that was cool. Signage showed that you could have your drinks out at the bar and take them into the movie with you. Great sound quality. About $10 a ticket for afternoon shows. Id for sure go when up in the Allen area.

Movie was great, love the recliners. But the theater was a little cool, even with a light jacket.

Plenty of available concessions cash registers open.For an early Saturday movie, this was amazing to see. We arrived 15 minutes before our movie, purchased popcorn, drinks, and collection tin, plus in our seats as the previews started. There is also a full bar for adult beverages, and coffee for those who just want their caffeine fix. Time wise, amazing. I wish this could be my normal Cinemark, but alas I live in Austin.Keep up the good work!

The seat couldve been a little better but it was nice and I loved the seat warmers for when it gets too cold. And everything is still nice and clean (hasnt been open long enough to be junked up yet.). Even those its a small theater, If they can keep up the cleanliness it might be a go to theater for us.

This review is for customer service.Management does speak lies, take their word bad, disrupt party for which customers paid and can ruin the whole atmosphere. They are capable of all and care only about themselves, one of the worst party experience.Dont book this theater for any parties as their general manager(Danielle) works in the same lines as some of their employees(Jesse/Gabriela) who ruined our whole time there.STAY AWAY. There are better places to celebrate birthdays.

Concessions close anywhere from 15 - 30 minutes after start of last movie. So, better load up before going into a late movie. Some employees are friendly, others seem to care less about being there. Management isnt any better. Theaters are fairly clean though, and seats are comfortable.Update: thought wed give it a couple more opportunities. The place has been filthy last two times we were there. Floors were gross, and sticky. Attitude of employees hasnt gotten any better either.Our new theater home is now Cinemark North. They have incredibly comfortable heated seats, employees are very friendly, and helpful, amd its always been clean. We are done giving Cinemark 16 in Allen any more opportunities.

Love it, great place to watch a movie, but they need a mens rest room in the south end of the theater and a womens in the north, especially for us older patrons!

Overall great theater. Reclining chairs have a tray table that you can swing over your lap, or push to the side. Only issue here is the slow concession lines, however that just seems to be a problem at every cinema ever. If yo see a late movie, also be sure to make your purchases quickly as they counters will close quickly after the last movies begin. The theater is always clean. 8/10 for bathroom cleanliness. Added plus, it is never that crowded.

The reclining seats are comfortable, staff know what they are doing, overall great experience. I only go 4 star because of pricing, I know they cant help it, but buying a large popcorn already gives them a profit. Also on a side note, who else would like to see chocolate covered cashews instead of chocolate covered almonds that they sell?

The McKinney one was bigger and newer, but still a great theater. Was spoiled after going to the McKinney one first! Would call this one a 4.8...

I dont live anywhere close to Allen and I still like to go all the way out there for my movie watching! The staff is always pretty great and ready to take your order. The goodies they sell for the movies is always great and I love to buy memorabilia there from my favorite movies!

This place is legit. The seats recline and are super comfy. We saw an XD movie yesterday and the sound System was awesome. I could feel seats vibrating which was super cool. Everything is clean and well kept. Prices seem high but I guess it’s what movie going has come to. No complaints.

We were there for a Fathom special event. Nothing on screen at all until 10 minutes after showtime bc a ticket holder went to ask. Well check on it. Why should you need to be reminded to check on a movie that is supposed to be starting?? Also very hot even after comments to employees. Not the best Cinemark experience.

Tonight was the night I decided I will never return to not only this Cinemark, but all Cinemark locations. The movie theater has always been my favorite place to be, and I’ve come to this theater for about 5 years. I even have the movie club membership. Unfortunately now I will have to cancel that and take my business to a theater where people know how to behave and a staff that actually respects the customer. IT Chapter Two, Spider-Man Far From Home, Midsommar, and many more movie experiences were ruined by disrespectful audience members and the staff simply can’t be bothered to handle them. Pathetic.

The seats are reclining, popcorn is good, dont sit in the back the audio lags and is very quite, might have been a one time thing but eh i was still able to enjoy the movie, i had to read lips and listen carefully tho. For some reason the bass in the back was way to overpowering like ears destroyed kinda bass, and it wasnt timed properly with the scenes. Idk see for ur self probably a one time thing. Theater 14 is what i was in.

I’ve been going to this theatre ever since I can remember. I love this place and have it listed as my go-to cinema. This theatre has an overall great experience and the owner has been keeping it up to date for the past few years. I absolutely love Allen 16 Cinemark. It’s what the movie experience should be like.

Great experience watching endgame here. I thought my seats in the second row would be terrible, but they reclined so nicely and still were at a good angle that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Clean bathrooms too.

Quiet location without too much traffic. Can often see new movies without too many loud folks. Its a bit dirty at times, but overall a good place to kick back.

Amazing theater that lets you really get immersed into the movie that you are watching. They also have spectacular seating thst reclines and makes for an overall comfy experience.

The place is great but man the people behind the counters really need to pick up the pace and know how to fill orders without spilling and dropping stuff. It was like they didnt even know where their own product was. You can tell they never worked in fast food before. Very slow!

The theater sound was super loud in the upper right. None of us could hear the dialog. Told the great. And he was like meh. This theater has always been great; I hope this isnt a sign of where it is going.

Went to see Overcomer today and the theater had a lot of flying insects. They would come right up to your face. I spent most of the movie swatting them away. This is the theater I normally go to and have never experienced a problem in the past. I hope it was a one off situation.

Docking 2 stars for the length of previews and ads before Star Wars movie. Over 35mins is absurd.
