Course has been in great shape of year, even now all leaves are gone greens are fast. my friends and I always enjoy.

The golf course need some cleaning up and some attention.

The course is just absolutely beautiful. Not a blade of grass out of place. When i get the chance I will want to become a member there. The facilities are gorgeous and the carts are top notch. They are new and have the GPS feature to avoid hitting into other golfers and help you select your clubs wisely. This is just a fun and outstanding course to play. Challenged me as an average golfer without me wanting to tear my hair out. It was my best golf experience yet.

A gem of a course. Has the nicest carts for any public course. You truly get your moneys worth every time here and it always makes for an enjoyable round.

The food was mediocre. I had fish tacos that were deep fried in old oil. The description said tempura fried...these were not. The dipping sauce was not tzatziki. I would not recommend this menu selection. The tomatoes were frozen and squishy on my salad yuk! The wait staff was very nice and hard working. The atmosphere was pleasant and over all it was an average experience. However, I would not recommend booking a large party since several in our group didnt receive their orders for quite sometime after many had finished theirs.

Apparently booking a tee time a month in advance for 16 golfers means the owner can not honer the tee sheet for Friday 9/27 b/c he/she/they book a golf outing. Its great fun getting a call 2-days before your date to be told they are cancelling everyone and there is nothing that can be done. Also - No compensation or discount to come back or try to retain customers. Terrible Ownership, Management, and Business Practices. Dont waste your time.

Great course, fair price, good food

Hole 9 is garbage, backed right up to the clubhouse so if you overshoot too much you are going to smash a window. The 1st 9 holes are good. But the back 9 feel like the same thing over and over again

This place is not very impressive. Recently attended an evening event. They have a beautiful ballroom with a glass wall of windows looking out over the golf course. I would assume the view is amazing, but the only view you will see is someone who doesnt know how to clean windows. Service and food was average as one could assume from a history of a mediocre reputation. Legendary Coach John Wooden once said, Its the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.

Terrible service!!! Was going to have our wedding there but after sitting there for 2 hours with no service (when we had reservations) we will never go back again

Went to a large high school function there.Lovely room.Steak was awful but everything else was very good and presented well.Hard to get a good steak at a large function.Wait staff was VERY nice.

Was there to celebrate a familys birthday and the service was excellent.

The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and very professional. The Event Manager was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. Beautiful venue! I will recommend to family and friends.

Great food with a elegant atmosphere. The waitress and staff where very pleasant. Ive attended many holiday brunch events, with all the same quality and service every time. Some people say the price is to high but I always say you get what you pay for.

I came here for Thanksgiving buffet and it was very nice. The staff was extremely supportive of our needs with our family members that have limited mobility and were so joyful and kind. I kinda found out they arent paid well when speaking to one person - they didnt say so but I understood it and that made me said as they were working on a very special holiday and they were terrific. The meats were especially good! We were told its best to come earlier than later as sometimes food can run lower later in the day. We came in around noon and everything was stocked a plenty. Its a beautiful location. Their are many families that have members in walkers or wheelchairs so we felt very comfortable and welcome. That was really very nice. Again the staff was amazing. The salad bar was great, the meats - a big beef thing, a really good ham, and your classic turkey were amazing. The sides were good though I do wish in my personal preference that they had mac and cheese for the kids and maybe crescent like rolls. But that is awfully picky! The salad bar was really personally fantastic with fruits lots to choose from topping wise and the sweet potatoes were yummy. The desserts were served on their own table. The meats had their own table, as did the other stuff. The desserts were maybe 3 or 4 cake options, and mini little pies of different types 3 or 4.

Course has nice change in elevation, well kept fairways and greens.tees for every handicap. Electric carts, no gps. Very nice restaurant with good food. Bottom line is a fun course with a good variety of holes ,a pleasant experience.

Nice track. A bit wet after the rain. Reasonable rate for a Sunday morning. Will play again. Hopefully without it being a soggy course and cart path only.

Upkeep is spotty good luck finding you ball off fairways... greens seem to only get cut twice a week- they grow in and are bumpy

I recently had a luncheon with a party of nearly twenty friends and family. The Clubs staff was friendly, responsive and efficient. Our entire party seemed to enjoy the variety of generous choices from the menu. I had the club sandwich and it was unique and delicious. Top notch, for sure!

Have been to two events here. Food is typically good, but it often seems disorganized with staffing. Our childrens meals were left off on our first time there, and they were accounted for, as I helped my sister plan the event. Communication was difficult. There were, at that time, looking for an Event Coordinator. Beautiful space!

Attended a Buffet style, private party. Simple buffet, basic salad, rolls, pasta, meatballs, chicken breast. Food was awful, pasta and chicken were both cool and we were the 1st Table Served!! Drinks were to be included on Our Tickets, They Werent EXACTLY!! Actually tried charging for Coke but Not Sprite!?!? WTH? Friend asked for Cranberry juice, was dated 2010, Came out of Can Brown!! Place was Recently Remodeled, looks like a Funeral Home!! Terrible Food and Management

This is the worst run reception venue I have ever been to. Be smart and book your events elsewhere. The event coordinator, chef, and owner are all completely incompetent and tried their best to ruin my sisters wedding reception. They were all full of lies and excuses for everything. Hopefully you dont mind a funeral luncheon also using the space while the 1 person sets up for your event. Also beware of the event coordinator because she is quick to slander anyone who is making her look like she doesnt know how to do her job. Just a quick run down of the things they did wrong for my sisters wedding: double booked venue, late to let us in to get ready, event coordinator yelled at bridesmaids for her being late, attempted to use different color napkins than was initially shown, refused to provide any golf carts for picture taking, claimed all kinds of additional fees than were provided and discussed with the original coordinator, upstairs room was dirty and no drinks were provided as we were told they would be, incorrectly set up tables based on diagram they provided, incorrectly numbered tables which we caught and fixed, forced the florist to fill all vases with a tiny pitcher that she had to fill up in a far away location, had to have the florist change the agreed upon time for set up because they were not ready, dinner service was late and slow, the wrong dinners were provided to the majority of the guests and when this was brought to the attention of the coordinator she had the chef storm out to yell at my sister in front of the guests (the chicken was not the same chicken they were served at the tasting so beware), a giant tip jar was placed at the bar despite a substantial gratuity already being paid by the bride and groom, liquor drinks were served with practically no alcohol content as was noted by almost every guest who was drinking, only one bar tender was provided despite over 125 guests so there was frequently a line, and all of these issues were brought to the attention of the coordinator and the owner. Instead of attempting to rectify they situation, they complained about my sister and blamed her for everything. Most completely unprofessional place I have ever been. Just because you have a beautiful venue does not mean you can have absolutely no customer service and treat those people who book you like garbage because you already have their money. Shame on you for your poor service and for adding so much unneeded stress to my sister’s big day.

I only attended a great wedding celebration there, but word is its a challenging course.

McGuire Memorial Appreciation Dinner.

I attended a program there for a cooking demonstration/vendor show and was mortified to realize theyd double booked both a vendor show and a wedding for the exact same time.I cant imagine that bride and grooms horror to come in to enjoy their wedding reception and realize that they and all of their guests had to walk through a Pampered Chef, LulaRoe, etc. booths to get inside. The staff was having to try and keep people from the vendor show from wedding crashing, but honestly, after a while, Im sure a few people were able sneak in because how can you honestly tell the difference between a slightly under dressed wedding guest and a slightly over dressed cooking demo attendant?And why would they have wanted to wedding crash? Because the cooking demo was hours and hours long and had no food provided unless you bought an even more overpriced VIP ticket. Not even munchies.And for the cooking demonstration, they were working on counters higher than the heads of the attendees, so you couldnt see, there was no video to watch or a mirror employed to make viewing possible. And they couldnt get their microphones/sound system to work either. So the chef had to shout over the sound of the DJ from the wedding bleeding through the paper thin wall.

Absolutely an awful place to have your wedding or reception. The new owners screwed one of my friends weddings of which I was coming into town for. They told her she HAD to change her wedding to a earlier time because another couple wanted to have a reception and their wedding in the same day. She all ready paid a down payment and had a date and time set with the old owners. the new people stepped in and just care about the money not their customers. Now I have to change my flight plans hopefully to get there in time for their big day. if i could give them 0 stars I WOULD!

To many people in the kitchen. Its no wonder what they didnt run into each other. Poor service. Owner is cheap! He keeps all the tips from any event! Pro shop person was arrested for embezzling club members money and drug sniffing dogs were there.

AWFUL experience!I went to a wedding last weekend. The staff was rude, slow, and the owner was a total jerk.For perspective, my sister had her reception there 5 years ago, and it was awesome. great service and nice staff.This new owner is awful. The father of the bride could not get a shot because of club policy that all liquor must be served with ice and a mixer to the top of the glass.A friend couldnt even order a scotch on the rocks, for the same reason.Why? the new owner is CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP!We waited in line at the buffet for over five minutes because, while the green beans and pasta were cold, no one would bring out more chicken or beef. I guess they had hoped that no one would notice.CHEAP!Everyone complained so much that the owner shut down the bar an hour early, and his daughter (another bartender)passed the bottles through a little divider back to the cash bar. Whoever wanted a Yuengling or Screwdriver had to walk over and pay.The electric soap dispensers in the bathrooms were shut off, and replaced with ugly, random pump bottles (in a shell shape, no less).This place is the opposite of classy.The outside wedding pics were nice both times, but the service and experience were AWFUL.Ive been to classier fire-hall weddings.These folks do not know how to treat guests.Instead of usual chatter about the brides dress, all of the guests talked about the poor service.Shameful and unfortunate experience.

Terrible Customer Service. I had tee times for 10:30am on Saturday August 16. Upon arrival I was told that there were no carts available and that the tee times were backed up significantly.The individual in the pro shop then explained that the owner decided to allow over 30 golfers that day off the back nine while additional tee times were still scheduled when they were to make the loop. Not only did that scenario close down the course but all we received was, sorry I had no idea. It was embarrassing especially since I had family from out of state travel with me and then had to find other tee times in the parking lot.

So unhappy with our service at Shadow Lakes. We chose this venue for the atmosphere, which I must say is beautiful, but the service with the owner Mr. Magg was totally unprofessional and very unpleasant. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We have been members of the club since 2005 and have been through the many ups and downs as it changed ownership. Please reconsider if thinking of Shadow Lakes. The service is horrible from golf, dining, or pool. The pool does not open until the end of June, the hours are 11 to 6, there is no lifeguard on duty, and you can not take a guest unless you charge them and any refreshments from the concession stand to your account. Mr. Maggs is all about just give me your money and I will be sure to treat you badly. Run while you can!!!
