Will Rogers USA was wonderful! LTAs Small Theater for Unusual Times is a great idea. I felt safe and enjoyed the evening.

Having performed in, and attended shows here, all I can say is that The Little Theatre is the most professional Community Theatre in northern Virginia.From a cozy atmosphere, to a large auditorium and stage, sophisticated lighting and sound systems, The Little Theatre of Alexandria is forever expanding and developing.If you have any interest in seeing professional shows on a budget, this is the perfect place to do so.When not under the spell of COVID, the Little Theatre is constantly putting on shows, from musicals, to comedies, to excellent dramas. A Few Good Men was especially excellent. However if you are wanting Shakespeare, you are better off looking elsewhere, for whatever reason, they havent done Shakespeare in decades, even though it has tremendous appeal in the DMV area

Well...I had not been to a show in about 9 months. In fact the previous ones I had been to were at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth and Winspear Opera House in Dallas. Although I had my reservations about the difference in size of the venue, I can say this: whereas you can SEE the show at larger venues, you can FEEL the show at The Little Theater of Alexandria. I came for A Few Good Men. It was amazing. Stirred up some military memories too and on 9-11 of all days. Not planned :) Thank you to all who were cast on Wednesday at 8PM. Wow

Great neighborhood theater and very closed 2 famous Old Town Alexandria. The performance I saw, a Few Good Men was excellent. During the intermission one could go to the small little Courtyard nearby attached to the building and also light Refreshments are available for sale. Street parking. Handicapped accessibility. Cute, cozy theater

Fun little theater! Bathrooms are a bit tight but thats about it. Great atmosphere and pretty comfy seats. Staff was super friendly!

An intimate theatre with productions of varying quality.. Parking can be difficult. Administration is well handled and prices reasonable. I have seen an outstanding production and one with varying from good to amateurish. Advise checking personal reviews before attending.

Very well taken care of and cozy theater. Actors are great professionals. We enjoyed The Haunting of Hill House play. It was a bit drawn out to a great length though.

Great place to see local talent

Great performance. It was extremely warm inside. Although they have a small stage they make it work. Seats are comfortable and view of stage is decent even if youre in the last row.

This is a hidden gem in Alexandria, we saw A Christmas Carol and plan to go back for other plays. It is a community theater, not the Kennedy Center, but for the value the acting and production value was wonderful!

Fantastic! We attended The Producers, and it was great! The audience barely had time to breath between the laughs that rolled through each scene.This is, true to title, a little theater, but the production team did great work with their small space, and the acting/quality was of a caliber I would expect at a larger venue. I was stunned to notice the live orchestra alongside the actors.If you like theater, even a little bit, find some time to go by the Little Theatre of Alexandria!

Saw the performance of A Gentlemans Guide to Love Murder. The actors did a fine jon very funny and well done.

Newcomer in town. We saw The Producers last week. Boy, what a gem of a community theater. The production was great. The cast was more than capable, they were delightful. The ensemble numbers were ambitious but really hit the mark. So much energy! The whole experience was smooth, charming. Im getting season tickets.

Our nephew and his wife and daughter both performed in the in this production and the entire cast was excellent and they were all so we enjoyed ourselves immensely and would come again

Went to see a Few Good Men, very well done

Fabulous performance of Jesus Christ Superstar. The updated adaptation (modern day) took a little time to get used to, but was extremely well performed. The love Banks was amazing, the set well considered and designed, the dancing and singing were slaving.

My neice brought the house down with her amazing signing skills. The other kids were good too... Linda Wells is and amazing teacher, she is great with kids and so encouraging. The little theater made my night and I know it will make yours.

Saw Dracula at the matinee on Sunday. Wonderful cast, with a well written, true to story rendition of a classic. Set dressing was amazing, acting was superb and engaging. Wonderful show.

A gem of the old town neighborhood. Wonderful performances and great childrens camps and lessons.

Fine production of The Fantasticks. Howver, staff racially profiled my black husband. When he left the auditorium to go to the restroom, he was challenged by the white attendant for his ticket, even though white audience members were allowed to re-enter the auditorium without incident. We wont be back.

I went here to see a performance by by granddaughter, so of course, I loved it. This is a very nice community theater that offers summer camps and courses for kids. It is well organized and all the children seemed to love being there. The adults in charge have an excellent grasp on things (I am a teacher) and seem to really enjoy being with the kids. For anyone in the D.C. area looking for a good drama camp for kids, this is a great choice.

The best of the Burger Places

Wow! A great venue to watch live actors in historic Old Town, Alexandria. Not a bad seat in the theater. Good shows, local actors and the price per ticket is worth it.

Wonderful little theatre. All the actors either studied(ing) in college for drama, or are previous semi-professionals. Live music complements the performances well. Nice rotation selection of pieces. LTA puts a nice spin on some of them without going too far

A great little theatre. Its a great place to see a fun show for a fraction of the price of a larger theatre in the area. There are plenty of food joints nearby. The play was good. The atmosphere was good. Our evening here was good.

This is a wonderfully intimate theater. It is one of the few community theaters owned by the group. There are multiple performed throughout the year, including during the summer. Amongst the many plays there are also two musicals each season and A Christmas Carol is also performed annually.

Theres not a bad seat in the house! Musicals are almost always really good while some of the other productions are very amateur. For community theatre, its really quite good.
