Well my uncle Argile Sammie Godfrey he was the stone mason. I remember him telling that the owner said he was going to live forever. When I Moved to Maryville from Powell I worked at Levi’s just down the road . Every time I see this Castle I think on Uncle Sam. This is a beautiful old stone Castle

Went there today with my kid brother and sister and it was really cool. My sister and I have known about this place since we were little. We were raised on stories of it being haunted so it was really cool for us to be able to tour the inside. The people running it were really nice and funny, wish the tour groups were a bit smaller just because it was awkward to move around and a little stuffy but overall it was a really cool experience and Im glad i got to experience it! Might have to go back for Halloween

I grew up right across the street from.this house. It is a community treasure rich in factual history and tall tales. My grandparents both knew Mr. Nicholson, who was the original builder. Its a architectural wonder considering the fact that he was not an architect. Nice place to visit. Thanks to the current owner for doing occasional tours and for preserving the Alcoa landmark for us.

Dean Fontaine is an amazingly apt caretaker for such a place of history... Random open house days throughout the year offer opportunities to experience the historical landmark --get a feel for the place, hear the stories, and decide for yourself whether or not the Millennium Manor is really haunted.

Friendly owner let me take a tour. My great great uncle built the house. I remember him from the early 1960s until his death. I could imagine him walking around with me and telling me about building the house. I love the place.
