This is based on the entry fee for tournaments $8 and theres absolutely no seating a part of being an athlete is knowing your family is there supporting you. But if your Grandmother cant get a decent seat to cheer your child on its not their problem. Not to mention theres no where to park.

My daughter is an outside hitter for Volleyball in the Q. She has been playing with the club since it started. This club has many outstanding coaches, players, and parents. It is the parents that really make a club outstanding. It is a group effort and take everyone to make it successful. Coaches only get to see players at practice, but outside of practice is where the true athlete is made. Players have to have a passion for the sport and practice in their free time in order to be outstanding! Club volleyball is not a part time sport, you have to be committed to the team. When a player misses practice to “play soccer or other sports” she is not only hurting herself, but more importantly she is hurting the team. I would highly recommend Volleyball in the Q for girls of all skill levels. They have teams of all levels from beginning local teams to national competitive teams.

We enrolled our daughter at Volleyball in the Q in the Fall of 2015. She had a new love for volleyball and wanted to get even better. Most of the coaching involved with this club is a little undesirable for the amount of money that you pay. Our daughter was give very little instruction on proper techniques to serve, bump, hit, dig, set or block. She was helped with very little of the fundamentals. She was called a Ditz by her coach and then after we complained to the club director she was targeted by her coach as a bully. We have the coach on a recording calling her names and nothing was done about it. The club director did not look after the best needs of our daughter. Even after several complaints we were just brushed to the side. There are a few very solid volleyball programs in Albuquerque, this is not one of them though. I suggest that you do your homework and find the club that is right for you.

The staff is extremely rude. Especially the “retired APD officer of 26 years”. The spectator seating is limited to almost non existent. And the facilities, although “new”, are half finished and the finished half is half a**. The smell that permeated the building when the coolers turned on was equal to that of a baby diaper in need of attention. This is a great facility for practice and such but tournaments and legitimate competitions should not be held at this location.

Really wonderful and competitive environment. Positivity and support from players, coaches, and family. Great for experienced and beginning players.

Mean girls and coach is never there. Most coaches are parents who took a quick course in coaching. I dont recommend this club at all. Will be looking elsewhere next season. Not happy.
