I love this place!! My son has been taking lessons here since kindergarten. The teachers are incredibly patient and fun!! Always friendly staff and cost of lessons are on a sliding scale based off income. Also willing to make payment plans. Very flexible.

Nice place for plays and events, right on route 66 and the bus line

We had a concert series and this was a venue that two of our concerts for the New Mexico Gay Mens Chorus were held at and the staff there were extremely professional and did a great job managing the behind the scenes and technical parts of the concerts. The building was clean and welcoming and the acoustics for our choir were great.

NDI the best school participation alignment for dance performance

My 5 yr old granddaughter is taking lessons & participated in her first recital today. Shes learned alot & acquiring so much confidence!

Lovely old theater! The only down side is that if your seating is upstairs, there is NO elevator. I coulda sworn that was required by the ADA, even if the building is old, but they do have disabled seating on the main floor. I just didnt get a choice for my concert where I sat. Still, comfy, I could do the stairs slowly, and it was very nice. super clean bathrooms too, always a plus.

NDI Dance Studio great for kids

This is a wonderful venue, an old movie house turned live stage, its big and comfortable.

I like this venue.. have been here a handful of times to watch friends perform. seats are comfortable.. nice lobby area.Im just not clear about the parking.

Performance by Musical Southwest Theater was ok (Elf) but the seats and stage are great. Perfect.

Im a Caregiver with Footprints Homecare Inc. and was taking our child client to his dance practice. Very nice complex, children of all ages enjoying themselves in a artistic environment. Safe setting.

I hadt been to the Hiland Theater in 35+ years. Used to go as a kiddo to watch Disney movies; or with my Catholic school to watch Jesus/God movies such as The Ten Commandments, The Robe, Ben Hur. Recently had the opportunity to see the Peace on Earth Concert (wonderful!). The renovation is wonderful (but I miss the curving walkway to the mezzanine). I applaud the Gorham Family (an old ABQ Family like mine) for sponsoring the renovaton. Acoustics were fabulous. The reason for the 4 rating and not a 5...they should have had the help bars in tne center of the aisles all the way up from the floor (row A, to whatever the last row at the top). I was in row L, and the help bars stop about 5-6 rows before L. Due to recent surgery, I needed just an arm to help me. So many wonderful people before the concert and afterwards helped me. I love Albuquerquens...such wonderful people!
