Let me first start by saying that I had an amazing experience tonight at Casa Flamenca! The atmosphere and the people were absolutely beautiful! Ive never even attempted to do something like this before but it was one of my goals this year to take dance lessons! The instructors were very patient and helpful! Everyone was just so nice!! Valeria has awesome energy and I look forward to learning flamenco in her studio! I recommend her classes highly! You will not be disappointed!

It would be difficult to fully describe this experience. We came to Santa Fe for the Opera (weve been coming for 8 years) but we are coming back for the Flamenco at Casa Flamenco! Wow! We travel the world attending great music and art, but this Flamenco company in Albuquerque has stolen our heart! Its a very intimate setting - only 26 of us - and perhaps thats the magic, but the energy, beauty, and sheet exuberance of the performance is overwhelming. A few tips - its a short performance, but being your own water and/or wine. No food is served. But if you get the chance - GO!

New Orleans has Preservation Hall, Albuquerque has Casa Flamenca! Like Preservation Hall, Casa Flamenca is a simple, humble venue but with about a third the seating. Don’t let this fool you- go to one of their tablaos and you will experience world-class flamenco dance and music up close and personal! Nowhere else in New Mexico (and I dare say the rest of the US) will you find a truly authentic flamenco tablao experience of such caliber - the musicians and dancers are *phenomenal* (during the summer tablao season, Casa Flamenca hosts artists-in-residence fromSpain), the energy is raw and passionate, and the improv and way the artists play off each other is simply awe-inspiring!I have been to a number of tablaos at Casa Flamenca and each experience is equally amazing if not better and better each time. I could gush on and on about this place, but seriously - stop reading reviews and just get your tickets (I suggest buying early as seating is extremely limited and they often sell out). Round out your experience - BYOB/tapas!

The standout performances at Casa Flamenco are truly a highlight of Albuquerque culture and nightlife. I have treated myself to a few performances and they are always otherworldly and phenomenal. The unbridled passion of flamenco unlocked by the dancers and musicians is truly an unique experience. Dont miss it!

This is the best place to learn flamenco in Albuquerque! Jesus and Valeria are excellent teachers who also perform on a regular basis. They teach material they use in their own repertoire, which shows authenticity in what they do. If you want to learn real flamenco, I highly recommend Casa Flamenca.

Attended the Tablao last Friday evening. Ana Polanco, the singer, is from Spain and is amazing. So is the music and dance. Its an intimate environment, that adds to the experience. Im a long-time Casa Flamenca supporter, so maybe Im a little biased, but the quality of what youll see here in Albuquerque compares to the best you will see in Spain.

Great classes here, the teachers and current students are welcoming to new students of all levels and never make you feel intimidated. A beautiful space, as well.

Allow me to express my gratitude for having me as your guest at Casa Flamenca. It was nothing short of a pleasure to see Valeria and Jesus dance with such commanding presence but a few feet from me and to sing along side a Spanish guitarist. I ask that you please extend my appreciation to Ana Polanco who welcomed us as well and shared her beautiful talents with us. She has the type of personality that can easily put someone at ease. I look forward to attending your tablaos and mingling with your performers and guests. When youre at Casa Flamenca, youre at home. Ole!
