Amazing place! We had so much fun and the workers are so nice! They have a nice price range and so much to do!

Went here almost daily my senior year of high school as we lived walking distance away. Always super awesome and helpful, havent been in a while but always had a great experience! They even put in a baby changing table after I changed my baby in my car a few times and other moms asked as well. Always had super helpful tips and tricks and willing to try new things with my babies hands and feet prints!

I thought covid murdered customer service. This place proved me wrong. The associate was kind, encouraging, and helpful. This place has multiple artistic options and tutorials to try. I didnt do that but it was nice to know how open this place is. Totally coming back.

Fantastic experience! Amazing place. I dont know what I was expecting but this place is an artist dream. My wife and I had such a great time painting here, and the pricing is reasonable. Each piece is a different price but appears to be priced by size. Regardless of all that, the customer service is great! Attentive, informative, relaxed demeanor. This is definitely a place we will be returning to. Thank you for an awesome experience.

Seriously, great prices and lots of help, and tons of fun! Going back as soon as possible! Either beer with friends, or snacks with kids - during art classes!

Such a great experience! The owners are down to earth, fantastic people and always willing to help if you have any questions. Good price range on tons of different pieces. They let you come and go to work on your projects, so theres no rush or pressure to complete something in a limited amount of time.

We didnt paint anything, but the atmosphere is really nice and homey. It looks like a great place to take kids and do a bit of art. Next time I go there I will do one of their really cool pottery paints.

My daughter and I had a blast painting & designing our pottery! There are so many colors, tools, ways & means to make your piece special. Kiln It is KILLIN IT!We went there for the first time and we usually go to Art Attack. The first and foremost thing that impressed me was how humble, helpful, and kind the owner was! He was cleaning up, making sure customers had what they needed and were having fun. I thought that was awesome cause normally you dont see the owner doing that. The prices were good, and they dont charge a sitting fee. I also like that they have more services than Art Attack, like throwing. You can also do canvas, and classes etc. Definitely going here from now on!

Went for a birthday party. Staff was attentive and helpful, all the kids had fun.The space is open and accommodating. They have painting classes that Im definitely planning to attend.

My wife and I were there last night. We had a blast, and I found my new favorite place to be! The owner is super chill, explains everything thoroughly, and they have TONS of different projects to fit ANY budget (a lady reviewed on here saying it is too expensive for the average family.....they have plenty of items priced between $10 and $15, so if you set a budget for those items like tiles, ornaments, tiny figurines, small canvases, etc. you shouldnt have a problem finding something for everyone in the family to enjoy painting. I feel like this person knows nothing about the cost of ceramic or paint to have posted such a comment, and shouldnt be penalizing Kiln It with a poor review because they did not do the proper research or have no understanding of the cost of supplies. I am a painter. These things are very expensive, and Kiln It includes the cost of paint, glazes, supplies, AND firing in the price (some finishes have an extra cost of $1 per color, but theyre really meant to enhance your project). Plus, there is no time limit to finish and you can come back as many times as you need to finish your piece, giving you the freedom to really make your item special!) This is a GREAT value for what you pay, and an awesome out-of-the-box thing to do here in the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho area! If youre an artist this place is an all-cost-inclusive way to try out different techniques before you make the investment to purchase supplies on your own. Great idea, guys! Thank you for being here and keep up the great work!

Had a blast! Instructor (Kay?) was so sweet, patient and fun. Elijah was extremely entertaining and helpful. It was a little more expensive than other places weve been to, but didnt mind because they were so fun. Families were there painting separate from our huge class, but the staff made sure to circulate throughout the evening, so everyone got the help they needed. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful, all-included pottery studio! I took my three-year-old here to make a couple of Christmas presents and he loved it. The owner and his wife are absolutely amazing people who will show you various techniques for painting or creating your own pottery. They even have canvas art, mosaics, tiles, and several other types of activities you can do. The owner is very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. The environment is warm and welcoming and the prices are good. I have checked out various other pottery studios and Kiln It is by far my favorite. My little boy started to get restless towards the end, but what three-year-old wouldnt, and the owner gave him some coloring pages and crayons to color with; that did the trick and I finished. Defiantly check out Kiln It, I recommend coming in and making something.

I love this place! Just wish I could find more time to go. I love their painting policy. (Buy and take as many sessions to finish as you need) with a toddler, it takes me too many sessions to paint mine while I help my little with his.

Such an awesome place to hang out and learn something new! There was an infant up to my elderly dad in a wheelchair enjoying ourselves! The Boss Man Elijah was very friendly and patient with his guidance too!

Kiln It has been a great addition to the Rio Rancho area. Ive been there several times and everytime we go, we have a blast. One day Ill buy that darn Dragon piece!

Went to go pick up crafts for family members and the worker was to busy talking to friends to even acknowledge that I was there. I stood by the desk for s couple of minutes then walked around and finally asked another customer who was the owner. If I could give s 1/2 star I would not happy I won’t recommend it to anybody else and I won’t be returning obviously they didn’t want my returning business.

They have a large selection of pottery to paint, the colors have fun names, and the staff is extraordinarily friendly.

They have several activities to enjoy here. The first time I went for a birthday party and I was able to pick out a premade mug and paint it. There are many color options and everyone at the party had a great time. The second time I went I had brought my dog. The owner told me about using clay to make a coaster with my dogs pawprints! He helped me roll out the clay and press my dogs paw onto the coaster he even had a set of letter presses to write out his name! They came out amazing and the owner is extremely helpful!

I just felt like the store was to expensive for the average family to enjoy.Families are looking for decent prices too enjoy time with the kids and when entertainment is over priced all over town it makes it hard to go out and have fun with the kids

Went out with the family for some fun. Im not an arts and crafts guy but I have to admit, we had fun. The owner was very knowledgeable and professional. Everyone had a great time with acrylic pouring. Definitely worth the trip. I highly recommend trying it out.

My and my son had such a wonderful experience here! The staff was super helpful and polite and they had all the art supplies needed! We literally just walked in and chose some ceramic pieces to paint! We spent about 2 hours there. When leaving, the staff told me it would take about a week to get the pieces fired and back to me. I was notified in 4 days that was pieces were ready to be picked up! So even faster than I expected! I thought it was kind of pricey, but once you think about all the supplies, labor, and fees it makes sense. And my son picked out an expensive piece to paint (my fault for letting him). But overall, awesome experience and I will definitely be going back again!

Such a fun place, great idea. They have tons of ceramics ready for painting, but also have stoneware, mosaic blanks, and canvases. Has my daughters birthday party here, and while a touch more expensive than we anticipated, very much worth it.

I love this locally owned business. He took casts of my dogs paws and I was able to paint and fire them. It was so much fun. My dog was even able to go inside with me to paint them. The owners are so nice.

My family loves Kiln It! The owners are local and care so much about their customers. We come in every couple months and it is always a new experience. They update their stock and capabilities/techniques frequently. We also had my daughters 6th birthday there and it was a fun and affordable party. You will never feel pressured to hurry and the staff and owners will help you out if you ask! Support local!
