Great place to go birding, take a walk through a couple types of ecosystems, or just get some exercise outdoors.

Excellent trails. Very well kept. Perfect for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. The trails are not very long so do not expect 10 mile hikes.

Manicured trails. Lovely walk through hardwoods and conifers. The Kalamazoo River winds through and adds to the beauty of the place.

Wonderful trails through a wide variety of terrains. Spent a beautiful Saturday here and never seen another person. Lots of benches on the trails. Visitors Center was open but it looked closed because of the automatic lights. Clean restrooms. Lots of wildlife. Stumbled onto a large deer and even seen a hummingbird hawk-moth. One of my favorite hiking spots.

The nature center was lovely. I enjoyed the books to ID trees and things youve seen on your walk. It also has nice clean bathrooms! I only wish there were more naturalists to answer questions.

This is a great area for birdwatching and hiking. The best trail, in my opinion, is the one that runs right along the river on the boardwalk. Its not very long, but its fun walking right next to the river.
