Great value. Wedgewood takes care of its course and youll enjoy good tee boxes, great fairways, and tricky challenging greens. July had great roll in the fairways yet soft greens that would hold approach shots. The many bunkers make up most of the hazard with water playing on a few. Emacualate clubhouse. Ill definitely return.
We had our grooms supper at Wedgewood. Our reservation was at 7pm. Room was not ready when we arrived. Once seated we had to get our own drinks from bar for the first hour. Food came around 8:30-8:45. Steaks were over cooked and dry. They didnt have half the food on the menu. Server was overwhelmed and poor attitude. Not a great experience. Would not recommend. Very disappointed.
Love the food! Great service and staff. They have a new menu item Jambalaya. Best I’ve ever had and I’ve been to New Orleans multiple times. We also love the appetizers and the pasta. Nice place to play a round of golf too.

Enjoyed a late lunch at The Cove this afternoon. The waitress couldnt have been nicer to me and what I ordered was cooked to perfection. Enjoyed looking out over the greens, and even with the rain it was still a good day for coffee in pleasant place to eat. Ordered the handcrafted Burger with real applewood smoked bacon ,it was grilled to perfection, also ordered the house salad which is fresh mixed greens with julienned carrots, sliced cherry tomatoes and cucumbers.

My wife and I are members at another course but because of rain we ended up at Wedgewood Cove 2 weeks ago. Weve been there a few times since the course opened. The course is always in very good shape especially how much play it gets and how inexpensive it is. We always eat dinner at The Cove restaurant after 36 holes. Angela, our waitress was amazing, very personable, well spoken and knowledgable about the menu and shes only been there a few months!! Highly recommended not only the course but The Cove restaurant.

Havent golfed here. Their food on the other hand Ive been here a few times. Sure the prices arent the cheapest in town, but thats not what they are going for. The serving sizes are more then large enough. Tastes great, decent wait times, overall no complaints.
My daughter was married there and they went out of their way to make sure everything went off without a hitch during this new corona virus world . We couldnt have the dance yet but its paid for and they are going to honor it next summer . Excellent service by the staff . Definitely recommend this place

Service has been so bad. It takes almost 15 minutes just to get our drink order and then another 20 minutes just to get our order taken. They messed up twice on our order. And the servers are pretty much non existent. They leave the bar area for about 5-10 minutes at a time. Something needs to change. I use to love going to Wedgewood and now it takes a village to convince me to go due to the poor service.
Worst place in town. Been there many many times and every time we all ask why do we come back. Have never ever gotten good service. Always very very slow. Have waited more then 15-20 to just have someone come to our table to get drink order. Such a nice fancy place with high prices needs better dressed staff. Some kind of dress code for the guests. And way better service. The food is the only reason it gets one star. The food is good. Sometimes.

I was there today for lunch about 3:45 . sat in the bar area for about 10 minutes.know one behind the bar , got up and went to the dining room. sign there said go to the bar for service.very sad. went to -trumbles for better food and better experience..
Been there on several occasions. Traveled from Duluth & Minneapolis. Once for a large reception (had our own quiet dining room), once for a group of ten (also had a private dining room), & once for a group of four (nice table at a gorgeous view out of one of their windows. Each time: the quality of the food was just fine; the wait staff very attentive; the atmosphere lively and interesting (it is located at a multipurpose public access golf course); happy hours, discount appetizers, and daily drink specials; quasi sports bar; pro golf shop and pretty nice golf greens. Whether in Albert Lea, MN for business, trips to the nearby cemeteries, weddings and wedding receptions, reunions, annual meetings, casual dining, or intimate outings, it is an excellent place to stop by.. It is also a great place to rest , relax, have a cool lunch during the blistering Sun of Summer or the frosty cold of winter on your way from one place to another that comes near or close to Albert Lea. Wedgewood Cove Golf Club has a very nice dining atmosphere. The service is always top notch and the food is always delicious. I have visited a few times for Sunday brunch - it is outstanding! Recently stopped for lunch in the bar area and that was a pleasant experience too. Looking forward to trying out the Seafood dinner the last Saturday night of the month sometime. This is on my Definately recommend list!
Its a decent place to eat if money is no exception. Extremely overpriced. Food is standard. Server was very nice and attentive. Service was a 5/5. Food was a 2/5. $$$$ Zero vegan options.
I proposed to be beautiful fiance outside the Wedgewood and it was an amazing experience. The club house is beautiful and the landscaping is top notch. Our family waited inside and when making reservations the staff suggested I get private dinning for our family which was perfect. The room was large to fit 15 of us comfortably, it was clean, well decorated, and just perfect. The wait staff were prompt, courteous, and easily waited on our large group and within an hour we had finished our meals.The Wedgewood Cove is gorgeous, the food was top notch, everyone loved their meals, and the service was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend the Wedgewood Cove Golf Club to anyone looking for a casual meal, fancy dinner, proposal, wedding, or large event. Just perfect!

How disappointing. Went there for a graduation party and the hamburger meat was a fake meat patty. Not beef. The steak was bad and the shrimp was frozen warmed up. I was so embarrassed that I had guest here. Never again

Located SW of Albert Lea, Mn. Excellent parking. First class clubhouse with first class dining. Can also accommodate large group gatherings (i.e. weddings and receptions. Highly rated golf course with driving range and very large practice putting green all very we kept up. Staff very friendly.
After going to several wedding receptions at Wedgewood I can say they go above and beyond when it comes to service. And it always has a well thought out flow, a good vibe and great decorations.What is the reason for three stars instead of five? The food has consistently been marginal at best. The salad was limp, the rice was only warm when served, and both the fish and chicken entrees had an underwhelming flavor.Dont expect great food but even so I still recommend this place.

Wedgewood is a great place to go when you dont know what youre in the mood for (unless it might be Chinese). They have a large menu with many different types of offerings, so thats always something that will satisfy you. Oh, and try the mac & cheese as a side. Its amazing.

The Walleye was cooked perfect. I asked for crispy hash browns and they were awesome. The dining area offers a quiet space for good conversation. Ill be back soon.

My wife and I ate lunch there a couple of weeks ago service a little slow looks to be under staffed during lunch food was good it a great atmosphere country club but for public nice to see average people to enjoy this place e instead of stuck up management types dictating it a great course would join if 10 miles closer
Course was in great shape! Greens were smooth and rolled true. Club house has a ton of merch. Can wait to go back!

Noce and very well kept course. The food is extremely inconsistent. Prime rib is usually pretty good, the motzy chicken melt when done right is great. Their pasta bar was not good at all.

A great dining atmosphere. Its just classy enough to feel elegant (think table linens)... but casual enough where you dont feel awkward if youre not dressed up or want to bring your kids.

Tonight will mark the third birthday of friends, family, or partner that we have spent at Wedgewood. Each time we have gone it has been more disappointing than the last.The first time we went was great, the service was quick and attentive, the food was cooked to perfection, and the staff was friendly and spirited. Now... now its like going to a Perkins that charges you $14 for a salad.Tonight we made a reservation for our family to visit for my mother in laws birthday. No different than any other time we visited, we were seated quickly, but this time because there was no one else here. The waitress was extremely brief and unfriendly, and was the same woman that we had had before with a second negative experience. The cloth covered chairs had stains and wear as if they werent kept, and the place was empty save for a few folks that were also having a birthday dinner.I ordered an Ahi Tuna Salad. My fiance ordered ground sirloin. We both ordered our dishes rare yet what came out was well done. For both. Well done Ahi tuna might as well be from a can. Everyone else got a salad or something fried. Yet it still took over 50 minutes for the food to even start coming out.When the menu says it comes with bread they dont mean like at any other restaurant where you get a loaf of bread, they mean a tiny biscuit that has been microwaved and thats it. No Im not kidding.Our bill for a glass of wine, a salad with overcooked tuna, and a ground beef patty that was also overcooked was over $45 plus included gratuity, only to be served by a surly waitress that doesnt have a friendly bone in her body.This place is a joke. Hoenstly, if you want to spend more than $30 for two people to eat in Albert Lea go to Crescendo. At least they treat you right and treat the food proper.I will only be back for invitation dinners. Honestly, we have a gift card for this place, and I would rather throw it in the garbage than eat here again. Thats how awful I feel it is.
Mediocrity reigns at this large establishment that Ive dined at several times. Service can be very slow.The Thanksgiving buffet dinner, at $26.95 pp was very over priced considering the quality of food offered.
