Its definitely not there yet. You can have a nice walk around, but much of it consists of fields, and theres minimal pathways. Theres also no parking yet, so you need to park on the main road and walk down the private drive. Its very easy to miss with no indication of the park until you make it through the gate at the end of the road. It really needs a way to the river too. Hopefully it will continue to be developed into a conventional park, but its not really worth the trip for now.

Oregon state parks does fancy job at most places but then try charge fees or lock gates. My video lottery losses directly support it. I say donate this to county because they create best parks in state here in linn.

Great park, not a lot of people. However the lady that lives by the entrance likes to harass people who go to the park. She will go as far as following you into the park. While fishing she came up to me and other people holding a hammer threatening to call the police for just being there. She claimed to have trail cams set up all around the park and property line. She even as motion sensor alarm at the entrance of the park... she stares at people with binoculars through her window. She acts like she owns the damn park. She does this to people who are law abiding citizens who never even set foot on her property

Well tried to make it out there and seemed to be a bit of confusion with roads and Bryant way being private access or not... Juts gonna go for it next time and get on to public land... Seems pretty unmaintained and mostly just a private park for hazel nut farmers... Mostly just think that most of the river should be for the public use, but maybe one-day.

This state property should be more publicly accessable. We biked out to the old pond and cought a bass. A access toad has been improved since my last visit.

Public Access is restricted. Oregon State parks has no travel access / parking, so access is restricted to walk in only. Park on the public road, and be sure to avoid trespassing. The park is not maintained, and it is not worth visiting. Travel at your own risk.

No way to get there. Just roads that end in gates. Didnt realize till I tried a second way that the first way may have been able to walk into it from the road per other reviews but feeling like its not worth the hassle.

Bowers Rock State Park as inaccessible as it is, contains some nice landscape and terrain to walk around and enjoy.I have it 3 stars because of access. While parking out on Bryant road is not a problem it is a stupid thing you must do to visit the park. I dont blame the neighbors for posting the signs on their private road prohibiting people from parking near the park. Id rather see them run off the riffraff with a shotgun so they never return and allow regular people to not leave their vehicle a half mile away on a no shoulder road.Pay attention to the signage and if you plan to fish in the pond (singular) in warmer weather make sure you arent fishing in the private pond on private property.

I called it in and found out that you can access this park by foot only. If enough people demand better access they will plan to make plans haha You have to park your car down the road since its a private drive and people suck. The park is just a big open space, fields, trees, ponds and the river. There is a nasty woman that lives at the end of the st. as kids she yelled and threatened us. I could only hope she changed her ways, but judging from the latest reviews nothing has changed and she is still salty :)

These ponds are great and definetly not easy to get to. There is a crazy lady at the end of the rock road that will threaten you repeatedly about calling the cops and such, just ignore her

Im not sure why this place is listed on the map as a park. There is nothing there at all and it seems inaccessible. The state should sell it and quit calling it a park.

Poor access, at least a 3/4 walk to the gate. The landowners at the gate access claim the road leading to it is theres. That just sucks! Extremely limited access to hunting in the Willamette Greenway!

Nothing but grassland there. Not really any path to get down near the river in the summer time.

Why have a park that the taxpayers pay for and we cant even access it through a road. This makes me want to stop buying the pass for state parks. Boo on the state park system for being greedy. Dont try to make money park passes when we cant even use at some parks, close them down and save taxpayers money or find an alternative solution for funding.

Dont go here. There are bugs, spiders and mosquitoes everywhere and the lakes are swamped with algae. Its just farm fields. State needs to see and stop wasting taxpayer money calling it a park.
