Park used to be better, more homeless people hanging around. Its a fun place for our festivals during the summer but in the winter it kind of dies down
Nothing to it but some awesome squirrels and runners .. they enjoy it im sure! Still not very far to run until u pass the same spot I just seen em runnin.. lol
Seem like a cool local park. Looks like it was probably magnificent in its day. Good place to park and eat lunch now. At least I assume thats what everyone was doing in their cars
I was robbed all my stuff is gone now everybodys stereotypes me because Im a tourist and Im traveling through thinking this was the most beautiful place of my life now I have to show up to court in the month stuck in this hell hole and they tell me go to the homeless shelter theyll give you a free meal I love it its so nice
Lovely park ,has a skate park ,walking path and Bbq pits . Large playground. Dog friendly.
The park was clean and the benches were nice.Bathrooms were bolted shut and all water spigots were pad locked.
Family place, nice clean walking track or bike riding track, fun playground for kids, exciting skatepark, and has a baseball field and bike track and is a fun place to be at.
You could see the fish in the water and beautiful little park where people go to enjoy.
Great place to exercise 4 times around is a mile you can keep eyes on the kids or have them come with you internet as well
Beautiful park with plenty of shade and playground equipment for kids.
I love to sit in the shade and watch the people with their animals. The squirrels are fun to watch.
Most events are held here beautiful place
I would like to thank Rolling Deep car club and Chris Quintana
A great view of My Blanca. Improvements everyday.
The best park in alamosa by far.
Beautiful park. Great place to take the kids and grandkids
Pretty green space park just off downtown, right on the Rio Grande.
Nice place to spend some time. Even have lunch there. Lots of trees for shade, or even walk laps there.
A nice playground, small skate park, excellent shaded path and of course the river.
Not a bad park. To bad I dont really care for the valley as a whole
Very nice park. Can walk dogs, is clean, it has restrooms, and ice cream trucks hang by
Quiet. Has lots of things to do
Very nice park. Ive been here a few times and its always clean and everything looks healthy. The playground seems nice and theres a little skating area. We especially like the big trees and the shade they provide for sitting. My only complaint is that the bathrooms have no doors on the stalls and its pretty uncomfortable.
Very nice park, and i like the walk by the Rio Grande River
By far the best park in alamosa.
We stopped on our way through as a pit stop for the kids to get out some energy and eat a quick lunch. Was a wonderful little park for the kids to play on.
Fun pump bike track.
Clean and had Wifi all over for my jams! Thanks Alamosa.
Its a vibe lmao
Great Park to spend time with the family and Friends. Spend an hour or two here with my dog walking him around and enjoying nature.
Great park, we go on the trails and kids love riding their bikes.
Nice park with a track and playground bordering the Rio Grande River.
Even wifi accessible! Multiple uses and venues all year long. Large skate board place. Large play ground and equipment.
Toilets are weird, no stall doors and uncomfortable, overly wide seats. Parking is ok, some handicapped accessible available. Good playground. Big Field. Close to the river. Nice walking path.
Seemed a little small. I only went for free movie in the park. It was a clean park but I didnt see a kid area.
Nice park with alot trails n people
Really nice park. Just wish the city could do something about all the transient people ALWAYS hanging around the library building.
Beautiful park and beautiful day to have a car show. We will definitely be back!
Its very nice park.. Everytime i go though a dude tries to pick me up.. I dont like that.. So stop being like that..
The SummerFest event was going on. It was very nice and entertaining. Great thing to host for the Public of a small town.
First time back in 20 yrs,its changed but is still cool. Never realized how big this park is, which is kind of rare anymore. Has a big track, playground, bmx track, skate park &grills. All next to the river if thats not enough for you.
Its actually a very impressive park and the pike fishing is unmatched.
Nice place to stop and have lunch or a picnic, the outside bathrooms were closed.
A great place to enjoy nature, have a picnic, or have fun with the family.

Great park. Clean. Great place to get your walking done. Nice track around the park.
Peaceful and relaxing
So fun here. Best place to hang out with friends
Always pretty and nice to visit so long as its nice weather and not to crowded.
The Rio Geande running through Alamosa is beautiful.
Dropped in for car show... food / music was great with all the fixings for hamburgers & brats.
Great place for a car show! been coming for years.
Cole park is a great place for everyone and with the new library the restrooms are nice.
Visited park for car show- excellent
Beautiful park to take a jog and if you have kids, they have a little playground and a bicycle track that anyone can enjoy.
Shade, green grass, picnic tables, clean, felt safe. What more could you want?
So beautiful here in the summer
Best calming place. They have a library and a trail to walk or ride bikes. Great place to host parties.
The trails that take off from the park are great trails to walk with my dog.
Nice paths for biking and walking, lots of trees and grass
Nice place to walk. Big shade trees
Great place to take the kids or pets.
Clean, fun , something always going on Sundays in the summer time at the park. Great place for hikes, bikes, .and children plus seems a safe area but to many homeless.
Nice park. The squirrels are friendly and the river is just right there.
Great for kids
Added free WiFi is a cool bonus!
Great park to walk your dog or play Pokemon Go!
Beautiful, one of the best places in Alamosa. Quite and relaxing
Went to a carnival there. Had a blast
Nice park near the Rio Grande River.
Beautiful. Lots of wildlife.
Plenty of shady benches, clean and maintained walking paths, agreeably close to the library. Surprisingly nice small park in a lovely small town.
Had a grest walk around the park
A very nice park
Nice park on the Rio Grande river, and a nice foot bridge.
Always a good spot to stop for a picnic and a run for the dogs.
Best DOG PARK in town!
Beautiful public park in Alamosa. We went for their Sundays at Six music series. Its a free, outdoor concert. The park itself is clean and very well kept. Its right on the Rio Grande, too. The trails around the park follow the river. Great place to spend a casual afternoon/evening.
Always have Loved Sunshine Fest
Love this park! Everyone is friendly and there are always activities. Some of these include jogging, cycling, picnicking, yoga, and softball. Weekly concerts are held each Sunday in the summer. On the walking path, there are activities to engage the kiddos. There is also a playground for the kids as well. There are also pavilions for those who wish to picnic under cover, complete with grills. This should definitely be on anyones itinerary when they visit Alamosa.
