I highly recommend Gateway Court! Especially if you have dogs that are on a breed restriction list and it’s impossible to find a place to rent! It is a very dog friendly place! We lived at gateway court about 5 years ago then moved away and decided to come back and didn’t think twice about renting with her again! She’s a great landlord and both places we have lived in were amazing.

The owner of this park runs a rescue shelter for dogs and she found my dogs roaming around and took them in to make sure they were safe. When I contacted her she was able to get me in touch with several helpful sources. Very sweet and kind lady

I have been living in gateway court for some years now. I love it there, its quiet friendly neighbors and dog friendly. Shirly the landlord is awesome. If something needs to be fixed it is taken care of right away. If looking for a place to rent i highly recommend gateway court.

Absolutely terrible place. The landlady refused to rent to us because of my fiances record which is interesting considering he has never been convicted of anything. Then she was rude and told us good luck sarcastically and complained that our car left oil in her driveway which also isnt true. For such a picky landlady, the park is full of rundown trailers and messy yards in a bad part of town with feral dogs and cats running around everywhere. My friend lives there and says she never makes repairsand she didnt fix their broken bathtub for a year, until they finally did it themselves. The demands to live in such a place are way too high. Its only perk is that it is pet friendly and fairly cheap, but you better be prepared to deal with a crazy unreasonable perfectionist who wont ever get around to repairs if you are even approved to live here.

Very quiet complex and the people are friendly

Terrible.The facilities are in poor condition: Within one week of moving in, we realized one of the two toilets, along with the stove, was broken. We notified the landlady of the leak in the toilet, but she didnt get back with us for another two months. This is when the leak began to grow mold in the floor. Finally, she told us to Throw some bleach on it, and sent a repair man to replace it. The stove is still awaiting repair. Weve been having to cook our meals on an electrical burner; which leads me to the houses electricity.Worst electrical circuitry Ive ever experienced. 1/3 of the outlets dont work, others run the wires and plugs so hot, if you where to touch the back of your phone charger, it would burn you.Landlord is rude, doesnt care about any issues you come to her with. She will refrain from repairing or taking care of the facilities, but will call just to complain if theres more than one car at your house, if you dont water your lawn, if the trash can is barely cracked open, and God forbid if theres a SINGLE piece of debris out in your lawn.And even in the lack of quality, landlord still will jump down your throat and send an eviction notice if youre a single day late with rent. Ive also found her reading our meters, even though we pay for all but water & garbage through separate companies.Overall: Terrible place to live. Very expensive for the quality you receive. Nosy landlady makes it almost impossible to live peacefully. I would suggest ANY OTHER PLACE IN ALAMOGORDO, other than here.
