Very nice experience and the people are very warm there is this gentleman named Paco and he was outstanding!

Breakfast was good. It is a private yacht club meaning you need to be a club member there or a member from another yacht club or be a guest of a member.

Great club with its own marina. Dinners served for members and guests most Fridays and Saturdays and brunch on Sunday. Very active racing and cruising programs. Great views of the Oakland Estuary aka the Alameda Riviera. Tremendous Bay Area nautical history in this club that was started in 1913 and includes Jack London as a member.

Had a great reunion here. Beautiful setting away from the bustle of Oakland.

Awesome club. I belong to both Oakland and Encinal Yacht clubs and both are great clubs. Oakland has their own marina so you can berth your boat there. Great members, super social and well run under the current management. Encinal is about 100 yards walk from Oakland and also has great members and is very social. They have a huge heated pool and steam room. Well run with excellent management too. Between the weekly sail boat races and monthly cruise outs these clubs are a great way to improve your boating experience.

The crowd is always friendly and the food is delicious. Take a minute to enjoy the view and watch a sunset!

Awesome views of Jack London Square. Very friendly boat owners and the docks are kept clean and tidy. Bathroom and shower facilities are very clean

We have met some great boaters at Oakland Yacht Club. They really are the friendliest yacht club in the Bay Area! Lots of fun social activities and a wealth of knowledge for anyone new to boating.

I have been a member five years. We had no idea what Yacht clubs were about when we joined - we just needed a slip. What luck that we ended up at OYC. OYC owns their own land, building and marina. This means that everyone on the dock is a member, so you meet people fast. We quickly got involved in cruise outs to all sorts of other locations, crewed in informal sailboat races, and generally use our boat way more than we would otherwise. The location in Alameda is very nice, so we also use the boat as a floating condo about once a week. The clubhouse is informal, but the food is great.

Really is a friendly and comfortable club, and with the great year round weather and down-to-earth places to go in Alameda.

Nice place, a bit officious, specifically requiring one to wear a name tag. Run by a frustrated kindergarten teacher? Antway, decent beer on tap.

Great place for your corporate events or weddings. Beautiful view of the marina.Full bar and great service.
