Absolutely love this place. I chose to come here instead of a club for my birthday this year. Im so happy I made that decision because it was so nice, elegant, and perfect wine environment to have an actual conversation.

Looking for a local casual place to eat close to home one evening, my fiancee and I planned to go to Pappos but felt it too formal for the occasion. We then checked out several smaller establishments nearby but none satisfied us until we looked across the street. Alameda Cinema Grill caught our attention. So thats where we headed. We were greeted graciously and seated quickly. We both ordered Grilled steak, Gorgonzola and Pear Salads with Shrimp added. COMPLETELY DELICIOUS!! The salad greens were fresh and bouncy, the vinegrette light and flavorful and the thinly sliced steak almost fork tender. It was truly a meal in and of itself. BTW, although I cant recall the cocktails we ordered, I do recall how much I appreciated the Bartenders generosity, wink wink

My visit was amazing! The food was so quick and fresh, so tasty. Deviled eggs were bomb. The live music at night was great, and my beautiful bartender, with her bright attitude and flawless bangs, did amazing at keeping my drink filled! The brunch also was by far the best Ive had in Alameda. I cant wait to go back!

Varied menu where everything is delightful. And delivered to your theater seat. Today, it was the deviled eggs unlike any Ive ever tried and the buttermilk fried chicken sliders with sweet potato fries. Go. Go. Whether you see a movie or just want a nice meal. Kid friendly. So good went back the next day for a second movie and lunch. Trio skewers. Yum! And the spinach wrap with bacon and chicken was healthy, delicious, and big enough to share. Everyone is so nice and happy to see you.

We dinner in for Mothers Day brunch, nice location right off Park Street on Central Ave. I love all the large pictures on the walls of the old time actors, it really is nostalgic. Our server Chloe was very nice and made sure our food and service was good. Check out my pics. The food was delicious and priced fairly. Definitely try this spot.

Great drinks and wonderful service by every single bartender/server there. Easy going atmosphere, very good place to watch a band preform or enjoy a drink before the movie next door. Their food is delicious, I recommend all the sliders. You can buy tickets here too for the next door theater and they will bring your food to you during the movie previews. A1 service, I highly recommend them!

Number one the KJs (Nikko & Kari) do a great job running the open mike karaoke session from 830P to 1230A. The sound system is decent & song selection pretty good (even if a song is not in the book just submit anyway as they often have it). The service at ACG is friendly & good. The food quality is good, happy hour menu solid. I recommend ACG to anyone looking for a good time.

Food is so-so. Good location, next to movie theater. It has live music too! Servers are good. More stars (10!) would go to Deanna. Wish more restaurants had a server like her. She values customer service & it shows. Deanna has a genuine smile, works hard for her customers & makes sure we are well serviced. Shes a true gem!!

This restaurant is next door to the Alameda Theater. There us a hallway that extends from the restaurant to the theater so you dont need to go outside. You can order food from here to be delivered to the theater. The food will be delivered to your seat if you have reserved seats. If you have general seats the food will be delivered to the theater door. Youre then notified when the gadget given to you lights up.I ordered a veggie burger which was just average. The French Fries were complimentary since the worker gave me a choice between French fries and chips but didnt tell me there was a $2.00 charge for the fries. I said i no longer wanted them but I was surprised to find the French fries that I hadnt paid for. The food is over-priced here so you might as well buy something from the theater concession stand.

Extremely friendly wait staff and bartenders! Very welcoming environment. Well stocked bar and decent grill style selection. Also has some good TVs for sports event viewing but seating is limited if you want to watch a game on one of the screens. Plan to get there before start of the game if it is a big one. I recommend this establishment!

Overcooked mozzarella balls, moldy coffee, and an 8oz soda for $5.Firstly, the coffee had mold. My wife got the last cup from the pot, and sturs in her creamer and sugar and noticed a lump. Pulled the chunk to the top and when I broke it open it was green inside. The price for overcooked mozzarella balls, coffee, soda($5!!!! For an 8oz?!?!), and the extremely bitter coffe after adding 8 sugars about 6 creamers(they brought us another after the mold) was $35... The movie was good, but get drinks and food from the theater itself or go somewhere else.Edit: my wife said it wasnt the creamer cups(individual containers) as she was watching herself pour them in. The coffee pot(metal tin with a black cap) had mold in it. There were also coffee grounds in the bottom of the cup.

My food, beautifully presented, was excellent. At 5pm, the ambience was soothing with live guitar. The waitress Diana was kind, and helpful. The pleasant surprise? The menu prices were average! Another surprise was finding out that the Cinema Grill is combined with Alameda Theater next door. Yes, you can buy your show ticket inside the restaurant and eat your food inside the Theater! Its Hard to explain in this paragraph. Note: I wasnt there for the Theater, at 5pm it was quiet, and I didnt order drinks.

The guy behind the bar with the tie, shiny shirt tucked in hes pants, is the manager...Something feels off about his sincere chit chat, that reminds me of what not to do behind the bar, when greeting customers.Otherwise, if your sitting at the bar, wear just a t-shirt cause thw pizza oven is right there in front of you.The live music is fun, the beer selection boring (no dark beer).Cocktails or doable, and the theater is what you came for anyway (beautiful).Food is good, salty.Get Pizza, the guy making it, is right there, and it looks delicous. The heavyset older bartender is cool and normal.

Theater food menu and drinks. Or.. While eating at their Cinema Grill you can order your tickets and choose assigned seating. Doesnt get any than this. We had the Cinema Grill greens with flank steak and the Cinema Grill burger. Great food, wine, deviled eggs appetizer and calamari appetizer. Our server Lana was a great waitress. We had lots of questions since it was our first time here. We are originally from the Central Valley and do not have a theater like this. We will be back again :)

Great Idea, Awkward Execution, Crazy Expensive, Tiny Portions. The idea is that this restaurant will serve high quality entrees and specialty cocktails to your seat in the theater. My GF (who has a Computer Engineering degree) ordered ahead online but found their website clumsy and their policies somewhat confusing. That resulted in our order getting cancelled. We arrived and waited in line to order again, only to find out you cannot pre-order. You have to order when your ready for the kitchen to begin cooking your food. Really? Maybe it requires a few tries before you catch on to their system but as newbies the learning curve is steep. You do get a reserved movie seat when your buy your ticket with a restaurant order, but those seats arent the best unless you like sitting in the first two rows. The food and cocktails were good but in no way memorable, except that is for the serving size that was so small it was borderline absurd. The best part is that the cocktail will help ease your disappointment.

My husband and I ordered two drinks from the Theatre Cinema Grill yesterday. The cost was $30 with a $5 tip. Our drinks were watered down and were terrible. We paid a lot for the water and received hardly any alcohol! We were there to watch the the latest Star Trek movie that started at 5:10 pm. I had ordered the drinks long before the movie had started however, they did not show up to our theatre seats for 25 minutes after the movie had started. The ice was completely melted in our drinks. They came in these small thin and flimsy plastic cups.It was surprising due to the fact that the theatre was not crowded. We could not complain. We did not want to miss any portion of the movie. It was very aggravating and disappointing to say the least. We left the theatre upset knowing that we spent over $50 on concessions that day that included one hot dog, a large bag of popcorn, Bunch of Crunch and Junior Mints and of course our lousy lousy drinks that reflected the Cinema Grills lack of care and respect for its paying customers.Mr.and Mrs. Jenkins

The look and the feel of the place is nice. At 1st glance of the menu i assumed the food was going to be great because the options where limited. First problem i had was with the waitress. I asked her if the pomegranate cocktail was sweet. She responded with a yes and just as I was about to ask her another question she said shed give us more time to look and walked away. When she came back, instead of harassing her with questions i figured she was busy and just ordered the pomegranate cocktal. It was NOT sweet. It was like drinking salt. She then takes our food order. I asked for a burger well done with no onions. Of course it reaches the table and has onions on it. I dont like making a fuss over little things so i just scraped them out of my cheese and put the burger together. I proceed to cut it in half and it is pretty pink in the middle. I tough it out and take 2 bites and can tell the meat was burnt on the outside. My boyfriend even said his gumbo tasted like rice and shrimp in tomato soupOur waitress never came back to check on us. Instead a waiter comes to see if we need anything. Thankfully he was nice enough to check with the manager to take the burger off the bill and he did. I admit that was very nice however we still payed 33$ for one dish, a gingerbrew (nonalcoholisc), and a small cocktail that was in a whiskey glass size(10$).I will never order a drink nor food from this place again. It is just hyped up because they sell you tickets movie tickets inside the restaurant or serve you if you order then go to your movie. However there are so many stipulations to them actually surving you... You want to go to a place where they serve you at your seat then go to Alamo brewhouse theaters in San Francisco. Way better system. And theyll deliver to all the seats not just the seata in the 1st 2 rows. Ridiculous

Well it would be great if it wasnt SOOO expensive for meals that are so TINY it wouldnt fill up a mouse. The food is great & they even upped their gluten free variety since the last time I was there. Great jazz band on Friday nights, although it does make it hard to hear others. But we go there every Friday night. The Jazz members are very nice. We keep getting stuck with tiny portions but it costs like we get big portions. We go to the accompanying movie theater after dining and listening to music, which again would be wonderful if it werent for the prices. & again the food would be great but not for the first time our stomachs were growling afterwards...
