Great place for adults and children of all ages. Lots of history here. Small charge to enter. Plenty of parking space. Handicap accessible and plenty of handicap parking. Can reserve for hosting parties, wedding events or Birthday parties etc. Dress with jacket top of ship gets cold and windy. Awesome view of San Francisco CA. They do offer senior and veteran discount. Children under 4, are free. Inside store for visitors to buy merchandise. Also offers an inside snack bar (pricey). I recommend you bring your own snack and water.

I walk my dogs here 3 times a week. Great water views and lots of parking. We see seals, geese, herons, pelicans, ground squirrels even feral cats.

This was amazing! I really wish that I had gotten there earlier and been able to explore more. The aircraft hangar and mid section of the ship you can self explore. There are 2 tours to the places on the ship you cant explore alone, one to the engine room and one of the operations tower. The operations tower was just starting when we got there and that was awesome but we didnt get to do the engine room tour which was disappointing. We got there at 2pm and the museum closes at 4:30pm if I remember right. If you want to explore the whole ship and get your $25 per tickets worth then I would recommend getting there before noon if not before.
