Went there for a end and of the year celebration. Flag football GAFFL ended its season with social distancing. The kids loved the season they was granted with touchdowns, yards, team work and friends for grade school and up. Clean park with a pavilion for the rain. Plenty of room for children to run & play restrooms are usually open. Pet friendly also has an area to walk while children play. Close to numerous restaurants & other businesses.

We got some Swensons and ate it at the park. Its a nice park, playground, shade trees, pavilion and just a cool little place to hang out if you want to spend quality time with your mom. I will add that right now bathrooms are closed and drinking fountains are closed off, which was a mild but necessary inconvenience. Make sure you go to the bathroom first.

Nice park, wish it was a mile around. Police need to monitor people Not cleaning up after their dogs or having them on a leash.

Nice sunny just after the storm that just passed, just after I got done eating at Papas Greek gyros, and enjoy a bike ride home made for a good day

I stopped by here to eat lunch on a beautiful day. Unfortunately, the toilets were all locked. Im not sure if this is due to the coronavirus panic or just routine.

Great park. Picnic tables under a pavillion, along with a few grills for cooking. An awesome playground for the kids, and a dirt path surrounding the entire park for exercise. Great open fields for playing sports. Located right by several fast food restaurants and shopping.

Love the running past. Gets a little busy at times

I went for Akrons 2nd Annual Pride Festival, and wow, what an amazing experience this was!!! So much love was shared.

Its a large welcoming park in Walhaven that hosts diverse events, such as Akron Pride, which I recently performed in.

When you need somewhere to take the kiddos and hang out this park is perfect

Oddly, areas were cut & others werent. They left mountains of grass throughout the park, making it hard for seniors & The disabled to manage their therapeutic walks. The tables dispersed throughout the park were heavily soiled & littered. I suppose COVID-19 has wreaked its havoc even in these areas.

Grandkids Iove to play there on the slide, etc while I can sit and watch or walk my dog.

Really wonderful place. I went for the festival, but I used to go all the time when I was younger. If youre thinking about going whether it be with your family or alone, its one of the better parks in Akron.

Thank you so much to the City of Akron and Hardesty Park for hosting Taste of Akron again. As always I missed the lobster roll and the darn peach cobbler but still managed to filled up on amazing food and meet more of my amazing neighbors.

The grass and baseball field are both well maintained. Plenty of room for events, such as the Taste of Akron (that was wonderfully set up). Theres a playground available as well.

Hardest Park was great even in the Rain!!

Would be a beautiful park! Theres a great playground and plenty of tress. But I would never send my kids there alone. In the hour I was there, I saw an obvious drug deal, not to mention all the unsupervised and rowdy kids.

A lovely park that features plenty of parking, wide open spaces, tall and large trees, and a nice playground area. The site is situated amongst residential and shopping areas, so its a nice visit if youre out and about and near this park. Would recommend a visit, it serves as a space that is pretty calming.

It was fun celebrating 2019 gay pride and special guest was there Deborah Coxs performing.I enjoying all the different tables and food trucks as well.

Nice little park. Nice location. Safe. I like to take walks around the park. Soft ball teams play and practice here. The city holds events at his park. There are swings and stuff for the kids. Nice area for walking your dog or cat. Lots of people picnicking anf families have parties here. Nice spot.

Other than the weird cop that sat in the parking lot, this was a lot of fun! Great place to bring the kids. There was a public restroom and plenty of places to eat in the area.

Love this park a favorite for kids to play out and its nice when a festival is going the kids still have somewhere to play.

Attended the Akron Art Expo at Hardesty Park today. Event on tomorrow starting at 10 to 5. Numerous artisans, easy to walk from booth to booth, handicap parking close, and reasonable prices!

Went for Taste of Akron. It was a lovely semi intimate event to explore great restaurants all in one spot. Music was good, people were great!

Love this park. From the play ground to the picnic tables they offer for a gathering. You can have fun here no problem!

We always go for the free summer shows. Fun play ground. They have security and bathrooms and parking.

We were here for the Pet Expo! It was set up to where I could walk around an see everything I wanted. There were plenty of puppies an kitties to make you happy. Parking was available all around the park.

Big park with plenty of equipment. It has a good mix of sun and shade. Lots of swings and slides. Multiple benches around the edges to sit on. Great park!

Beautiful park always trimmed ,mowed nice and set up vell with plenty of food,drink restrooms and community tents set up like fire dept and Akron mag. Places to learn from. Parking is always done well. Cant say enough good stuff about this park.

Ive been going to this park for my entire life (26 years) and Ive been able to have fun at every stage of life. I cant wait to take my own kids.

Errbody knows this is the hottest scout munchkin soccer league recruits. Also the best place for any leisurely activities and community events. Theres almost always space to do your activity.

Parking is an issue but always worth the eait

Akron Pride is held here and it is an amazing event. The park on a regular day has a playground and a walking trail. Very open.

Large park, lots of open space. Great for events throughout the summer. Music venue, festivals, free yoga, Akron Marathon exchange zone. Walkable from Walhaven restaurants and shops. Longer walk to highland square, but doable.

Perfect area to host an event of some sort. Large, open area. Well taken care of!
